“Battlegrounds is a cool little coffee shop right on the heart of downtown Haverhill. They have all sorts of fun coffee flavors and their own beans for sale. The baristas were very quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is a typical cozy coffee shop with couches and tables to choose from. We loved that we were able to sit on the couches by the window and watch it snowing while we drank our coffees (which were nothing too special, but were still good). We would come back here again if we were in the downtown Haverhill area.“
“Had 3 non dairy flavors. I got chocolate and blueberry crisp. The also had mint oreo. The flavors were good. I loved the blueberry crisp flavor but the crisp kinda turned to soggy. It had a lil tang like a froyo. Theres a cool lil grove with benches to hang and eat outside, although it seems like itd be mosquitoy at night. Worth a stop here if youre in the area or having a date night out. Theres a big field or farm with a nice view next door.“
“Had an amazing dinner there tonight! Emily our waitress was amazing and friendly! The food was delicious and the staff found out my fiancé and I just got engaged and surprised us with dessert and played our song to dance while singing along! It was a great time!“
“Super creamy and delicious! The menu is changing constantly and being refreshed with new flavors whenever I go, so their home made ice cream always taste fresh. However, the portions are rather small. I got a cone and there was no ice cream in the cone, only on the top.“
“Joselene made the most amazing Alice in wonderland cake for my daughter’s first birthday. She was quick to reply to my inquiry initially and made a cake that was better than the sample pictures I sent her for design ideas. Everyone at the party remarked about the detail in the design and how delicious the actual cake was. She will be our only bakery going forward and would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a cake or custom cake!“
“Fantastic atmosphere, amazing beer! Oak & Iron has crafted a cozy setting that embodies the allure of German beer gardens, ensuring that you have an absolutely delightful experience. You'll feel like family after visiting Oak & Iron and be itching to return.“
“Words cant describe the joy i felt the first time i pulled up crack'd's gluten free menu...to see it was damn near the same as the regular menu! That is so rare and I absolutely treasure that experience every time. They are amazing with other allergens as well! Their gf fried chicken is off the chain- my memories of 'normal' fried chicken cant even hold a candle. I usually get the gf sweet and spicy chicken sandwich with extra honey sriracha. Which is mindblowing!! But everything i have had here (and everything my non-gf husband has had from his accounts) has been amazing, both drinks and food. I will be back again and again (and again) anytime I am in the area.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free friendly and sooo much more“
“Had the Mysore dosa tonight, amazing! Crispy exterior, tender filling, and the side of soup and two chutneys made it even better. The title of this listing is food truck, but they are now a restaurant located on Park Street in downtown Andover. If you like Indian food, you should stop by. Take out or dine in.“
“Have had BBQ all over the country, and unfortunately around the local area too. This place however, makes some really legit legit meats, with their St Louis dry rub style ribs being the shining star. Absolutely the best rack of ribs I've had in New England, meaty and smoky with a perfect pull off the bone. The chicken wings as well are surprisingly excellent, super crispy and offered with traditional southern flavorings. Love the moist cut of their briskets, just great S&P seasoning. For sides, the fried pickles and potato salad are awesome, but I personally really like the dirty rice the most, I just wish they gave you more.“
“End of September 2023 we are here. The business is very busy and a lot of traffic in and out. First time here and I spoke to others here today who said they love it here and the ice cream flavors. Many have been coming for years and are loyal customers. We had single scoop ice cream on a waffle cone. I used to make home made ice cream for a restaurant and know when it is flavored well. I had the cookies and cream which was chocolate ice cream, and had good flavor to it. I'm not here to eat a pint of ice cream at once so the one scoop was plentiful. About $5 for a small which is a single scoop, again plenty for me. I also picked up a doggy cup which was just under $5. But there was plenty of vanilla cream in the cup with a large cookie on top. Many places give a very small amount of cream and a small milk bone and charge $5 for a doggy bowl. There was plenty for my dog to eat. We were here for 25 minutes and counted about 30 cars in and out with loads of people waiting in line, on this cloudy and cooler afternoon. I would have to say that Benson's is doing something right to draw in this many people on a cloudy September evening. I am sorry those others have had a not so great visit. Perhaps you might take a break for a bit and come back with an open mind. You may have a better opinion.“
“Delicious food & friendly staff!Their brick oven pizza is the best around!Their calzones are delicious & the ricotta in them makes riversides calzones different from the rest!I was lucky to score some churros on a random give away day & I really hope they add them to the menu! Bite size churros smothered in cinnamon & sugar- yum!!!“
“Me and my husband have been coming here for five years now and the service is always amazing. The cook is always very friendly. The servers are very nice. We appreciate all the work they do.Parking: They have free parking in the back of the store“
“My cousins and I decided to do an empanada taste test in Lawrence today and I am happy to say that Oleaga won! We tried the jamon y queso, pollo queso and maiz and the pizza empanadas. The pastry was the best out of all three places that we tried and the pollo, queso and maiz was the best out of 9 empanadas that we tried across town. It was absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is very small with few tables, but we were able to snag one and enjoyed our food. I will definitely be back.“
“Went for bushbuck today. It’s an unassuming small entrance right on Washington street haverhill but goes back so ample sized. Cozy bar up front and high and low tables out back. Mostly all painted black w some nice patio type lights hanging from ceiling. Lively music made it fun.Greeted by nice hostess and seated right away. Our waiter Samuel was very friendly professional and perfectly attentive. Got a couple bloody Mary’s and was appreciative that Samuel asked if we wanted spicy or not (we both don’t like extra spicy). I got the chicken waffles and loved it. Waffle was w cornmeal so lots of texture and kind of crumbly. Chicken was a large pounded piece of breast w some cornmeal on the batter as well.It came with REAL maple syrup, warmed in a little glass jar as well as a little crock of special butter. Ate every hot. Hubby got eggs w brisket hash and loved it. On the way out the owner was near the bar and thanked us for coming which was very nice. Highly recommend. We will be back.Parking: Sundays free street parking. Weekdays pay machines.“
