“My boyfriend and I just went here and split a few sushi rolls and the chicken Kara age. All of the food was really delicious, might be the best kara age I’ve ever had, and their lunch menu pricing is really reasonable. Our waitress was really nice and all the food came out quickly.“

“Stopped in for the first time and really enjoyed it. Small bar with great music, decent food and great atmosphere. We had the stuffed tater tots which were delicious. The wings were also good but very cold. Great beer selection also. Will definitely be back!!“

“Solid food but I wanted to give a shout-out to a fantastic trivia experience! Trivia can be a toss-up. I've gone to others in the Boston area where the questions were impossible (to the point where not a single person got it right) or the sound was deafeningly loud (to the point where my watch registered a dangerously high decibel level and was basically telling me to GTFO to save my hearing). The trivia set-up at Town Tavern was perfect. Three solid rounds of questions, different categories to keep things exciting, a great trivia master. For people with sensitive ears, the noise volume was perfect. I could hear everyone at my table. It was the most fun I had at trivia to date. Food-wise, you can't go wrong with the bar food. Our table split an order of onion rings (really enjoyed the sauce) and my chicken Caesar did the job of making me feel healthy-ish. Which of course I then undid by basically inhaling a slice of the basque cheesecake on my own. Loved the wedge fries here, I may get just an order of that for myself next time. Prices were pretty affordable. For a group of eight that ordered drinks and desserts, the total came out to about $183 before tax/tip.“

“Last Friday was my first time at saloon and I am already planning to come back. I was in awe of the busy atmosphere, the music was good, the drinks were good and the Caviar French onion dip was delish! Our server was great, I forget their name but they gave wonderful recommendations and were very kind!“

“So, I apparently wrote a review about this place 10 years ago, I cant believe its been that long! Anyways, we went last night and everything was delicious! Steak tips are fantastic, and the sausage was great! Love the steak fries and very friendly staff. This place was extremely busy and the staff was spot on! Can;t wait to go again! Portions are very large and the prices are great!“

“We enjoy this restaurant tremendously-staff, selection of food and the ambiance are all exceptional. We were sad to discover that they have cut down their hours and are so short staffed that their 2 bartenders are tripleling as Bartenders. waiters and greeters. They are doing an astonishingly good job fulfilling all these demands. Apparently they are also shortstaffed in the kitchen since at present are only offering a quite limited menu of appetizers. It appears they will likely be squeezed out of their spot. For many of us this is quite a loss, I am sure we are not tge only ones that consider this restaurant the top brew bar in the Encore“

“I have a sodium restriction and they accommodate very well. I check my medical stats today and no change. This shows that they didn't use sodium items on my food and still made it flavorful I loved the Haddock, Fries well needed ketchup and the coleslaw had to be made on site just by the creaminess and the freezing lemonade was unforgettable.“

“Robyn is a fantastic waitress with a great personality! Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday’s, ask for Robyn! The food was too much for human consumption in one sitting, but I am sure the guys enjoy a big meal at lunch time! Those burgers are made for men! ? If I was a mystery shopper, they exceeded customer service, clean restrooms, good food and a host that made us laugh upon entry! What a great team you guys have!Parking: They have a small building in the huge parking lot. You shouldn’t have trouble finding a spot!“
“I mean... it's a DIVE dive bar. I personally enjoy dive bars so i loved it. Top shelf drinks are 6-7 dollars and they make them STRONG. Most people were 50 and up. Getting to the place Can be... different. If the front door is locked you have to go through the back and ring a doorbell haha it has Pool and darts and you don't have to pay for either. Also has poker games on Sunday and Wednesday“

“I usually avoid chain restaurants when I'm traveling, but this place is a chain restaurant of a different type. It's kind of a New England classic. A great menu of basic American fare, so there are no surprises. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. Prices are good too and the drinks are great. Great place to stop for a couple drinks and some good food.“

“Pub 49 49 Maple St, DanversHad another positive experience tonight at Pub 49 in Danvers! Very welcoming, easy going atmosphere. Grilled chicken Caesar wrap for me & Dad. He got the onion rings while I got the house made chips. Both were really good. We split the deep fried pretzels and those hit the spot as well. (We also split the Pub 49 dry rub wings which pretty good).Big thanks to our server, Abby, for taking great care of us throughout the entire visit. We will be back in the near future and I recommend that you all make it a point to check this place out soon!“

“Culpeppers has the BEST buffalo wings and pizza in North Andover. I'm super picky about pizza and hated all the pizza places in the area when I moved here, until I found this place. Most bars will serve you overpriced frozen food, but not here. Everything is super fresh and delicious at very reasonable prices. Jimmy and the waitresses make you feel right at home and treat you like family. This place is no frills and has a super relaxed, small town bar vibe. The cocktails are great and reasonably priced and they have a wide selection of beers on tap. Culpeppers has quickly become our go-to spot for watching games, relaxed date nights, or a much needed midweek pick me up.“

“Our first visit blew us away- we ordered the meatballs (delicious, great sauce and outstanding homemade bread), fried chicken sandwich and skinny burger. Our most recent visit wasn't as spectacular. Don't get me wrong- still good and we'll be back, but a few misses. The meatballs came out lukewarm. The chips that came with my burger were burned. Like I said, overall it was still good and we plan to return but just a different experience.“

“Ordered delivery. Called restaurant and asked for plates, utensils, wipes/napkins, etc. I was in a hotel room and had none of those things I needed to eat the meal. The restaurant spot on with everything I needed added to my order. The food was AMAZING - steak cooked to perfection. Ribs delish and covered in yummy BBQ sauce. Order was made and delivered quickly.Highly recommend!“
“5 Star Dive Bar Dive Dive Dive Dive Dive Old schoolers run a bar serving powerful drinks, cold beers, and play keno. I don't even know how to describe attached to a tire repair shop. Never seen it before and I love the whole thing. This is about as salt of the earth as you can get. The bar staff is super nice and the patrons are playing some great tunes on the jukebox. They say they serve food, but I don't think it is true. Who cares? Drinks are 6 bucks and beers are 3 or 4, you can't beat it. The decor has not been updated in decades either. Good You don't find many dive bars like this, it is one of the best I've found in a while. I'm just sorry I didn't find it a decade ago. You might drive by and miss so look hard, because if you want to stop in a real dive bar and have a hard drink, then this is your place. I know it's mine. Thanks“

“Best neighborhood spot! The staff is the absolute friendliest, shout out to Jen & Steph for their incredible service! The food is delicious, I go every week as I live nearby and am never tired of the selections. My personal favs are the buffalo chicken sliders with ranch. Honestly, even if the food was subpar I'd still go because I love the staff that much but luckily it's 5 stars all around. Thanks!“

“Went here with the family and enjoyed my meal, 12oz steak with loaded baked potatoe and salad. Steak was cooked perfect to med rare. Buffalo finger appetizer was good as well as I like their extra crunchy coating and spot on Buffalo sauce. Service was great and appreciated the humor of the staff during our visit. Kids and wife enjoyed their meals as well.“
