The birria stew is the ABSOLUTE BEST and I cant decide if the birria ramen or the birria nachos I like more. My favorite though is the elote loco, it is perfect every single time. One of my only concerns is that everytime I'm there I never carry cash on me and that's the only way to leave a tip because you can't add a tip on the card, on Friday I went to the bar as a girls night out and the bartender seemed overwhelmed and so did the workers so I wanted to leave a tip and so did my girls but we couldn't. I know I'm not the only person that has this concern because most regulars have said the same thing because my children have also heard it when she comes with her friends. Honestly I feel bad for the workers, do better and care about your staff! Other than that good place with good food, also family friendly too.“

But tonight, Sunday, they had karaoke, we love music and we love the atmosphere but they had the volume cranked up so loud we couldn’t talk at all. We asked if they could turn it down just a little so we could talk and hear each other while we ate and we got a, No. I was surprised she said no, because we couldn’t even talk or hear her and she couldn’t hear us ordering unless we were yelling, so we had to point to the menu for her to take our order. If you like to talk at dinner and don’t want a pounding headache then don’t go on a Sunday or any day they’re having karaoke, if we ever go back and the karaoke is going we’re turning around and leaving, it was ridiculously loud.“

“We tried this Edifer Pizza last night. We ordered two small pizzas and a chicken burrito - takeout. We were happy with our order. The burrito was solid, and I liked the hot sauce / salsa that came on the side. The pizza had a crisp crust and was very cheesy. Online ordering with Toast was super easy, as I use that for other local restaurants and already had an account. The staff was friendly. We will go again.“

Very busy with takeout! It is BYOB. I got the chicken flautas and they were good, if a little thicker than I'm used to. The chicken was very tender. My husband got the steak and chicken fajitas. He was not asked how he wanted the steak cooked so we were interested in how it came out. He said although the meat was flavorful and tender, he wished it came in long strips. The rice was delicious. We got the mild and spicy salsa and my husband said the spicy salsa was the best salsa he's every add. I was also very happy with how fresh and flavorful the guacamole was! “This was great find on a Saturday night. Didn't expect it to be in a plaza, but low and behold ... the plaza has other cuisine options, just in case. Tequila is small, modern, yet flashes of culture decorate this establishment. But don't expect the traditional chips and salsa, no. You get a trio of dips: tomatillo, Chipotle, and a roasted house blend. None are too think, save the chipotle; and the chips are not salty either. So, a great start to the evening. We sat at the bar (which I personally love), so drinks were prompt and delicious. We order the Espresso Martini, for her, and I asked for an extra spicy margarita to start. The martini was on point, and the spicy margarita hit those notes that I adore, just the right amount of punch to get my taste buds going. I wasn't hungry, so she ordered the Diego Tacos, based off the recommendation of the bartender. The chicken was good, but if you're used to grilled, make sure you ask. It came with Mexican rice and refried beans, but you can sub in black beans and white rice (we later discovered). To finish off the night I order the margaritas flight - 3 of their choices, which all had their own unique taste. One was guaca, one had maple syrup (don't knock it til you try it), and one had mezcal (another favorite of mine, the smokiness is just killer). The guava was too sweet, but I'd hit up the mezcal margarita eight days a week. 4 out of 5 stars, only because I had to keep flagging down the bartender to order.“
