“We found this quite by accident as we had no specific place in mind for dinner. Very happy we took a chance as everyone in our party of 5 loved our dishes. Very small venue so reservations probably necessary. Bar seating is available. The chairs were not very comfy but I think that is by design.“
“Love the GOAT in Portsmouth, this place is just as great with an amazing view.Only issues are the drinks. Cocktails are 14 bucks with bottom shelf liquor. Extremely overpriced for the quality. Most of the cocktails seem to be geared towards the summertime sorority crowd. Ordered some watermelon marg and it tasted like a lollipop.“
“Stopping into Metzy's for Margarita Monday was an absolute home run! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The margaritas were expertly crafted, with just the right balance of tangy lime and smooth tequila. Pairing them with their delicious food was a match made in heaven - highly recommend the crunch wrap special!! Every bite was a treat for the taste buds. The friendly staff added to the experience, making it a memorable evening of great food, drinks, and ambiance. Can't wait to go back for more!“
“I’ve been going to Agave since they opened their doors. As a former Texan, I feel I have a pretty good palette for Tex Mex, and Agave is top notch. They make a dish called queso flameado that is rare to find, and it’s to die for. Also ask for a spicy margarita! Delicious.“
“I sat at the bar, Melinda was a superstar! She got 'slammed' at lunchtime but didn't bat a lash, she remained cordial, efficient, friendly and handled each customers unique requests with charm. Food was delicious, hot, and served in a timely manner. I will be back!“
“If you know, then you know. This place is decades old, has an awesome throwback vibe that still delivers! The old juke box is great, a couple old arcade machines, and a host or regulars and staff that make this place feel like home. Did I mention the pizza? Out of this world. A slightly unique style that is all it's own, this thin crust almost-personal sized pizza is delicious, and make just right. Dine in if you can, fresh out of the oven there is no better pizza!“
“Excellent atmosphere, drinks, and service! What a hidden gem that we are so glad we stumbled upon this past week. So sorry to hear that a developer who owns the strip this fun beach bar is located on will be tearing everything down to put up brand new condos. Where are the people who buy those condos going to go for fun? Please save The Dolphin! Music, game nights, and great atmosphere to hang out and enjoy the ocean views while meeting and mingling with some great people!!“
“Came to hear the Honey Bees and had a great time. We had chicken tender that were very good. Isaac, our waiter, was wonderfullyvattentive and kept the drinks flowing. We stayed for 4 hours and Isaac made our visit very enjoyable. A very friendly, enthusiastic guy!“
“The service was impeccable, the environment was warm and welcoming and the food was spectacular.Kid-friendliness: The children in our party were comfortable and had a great time.Wheelchair accessibility: The building is accessible from the back of the building where the parking lot is. Not from the door facing the street.“
“A gem in the middle of Newburyport. We were looking for a great vegetarian/ gluten free dinner since we had guests staying at our house for the weekend . The chef, Mary created the most amazing dinner for four. The first course was a paper thin sliced beet salad followed by a vegan pancake with baby white turnips and a “ feta” cheese to make wraps. They were great . We then had dumplings filled with pumpkin and finally sautéed cabbage, tomato and chicory. Last, dessert was sugar free coconut ice cream and a strawberry and rhubarb compote . Mary served everything personally . We ate outside in a courtyard type space with strung lights. A charming setting. Very few tables and everything is custom so call ahead .“
