“We were lucky enough to stop by right at the earlier start of lunch time and found there was nobody else there, while snow was gently falling, creating a kind of lovely atmosphere. (People did start coming in toward the end of our meal). The menu had a mix of some delicious sounding pancakes and breakfast, as well as typical lunch items.I got arrepas with chorizo. I loved the arrepa. It was crisped perfectly, but I think the chorizo would have been better chopped into small pieces instead of sliced because the casing was hard to chew through, and the pieces kept sliding out. It came with a side salad, which would have been delicious, but it came with a sesame dressing (which I dislike and that is completely my fault for not catching!!).My partner got a taco assortment and thought the pork was delicious, and the chicken was good, but felt the beef was a bit too tough. He did say that if he was to come back, he would absolutely get the pork tacos without a second thought. We each had a delicious drink, rims coated in cinnamon and served with a cookie. They also served complimentary chips and salsa, which were good!We would like to come back at different times and definitely plan to repeat. Don't snooze on this place!!“
“Food was excellent, ordered the scallop risotto. Sweetest scallops, excellent risotto cooked perfectly. Calamari light and tender Shrimp Diablo spicy but delicious the way it should be. Service was outstanding! Definitely will be back to try other dishes.“
“We went when there was live jazz one evening, the server asked if I wanted anchovies oh my Caesar I declined but later I was curious. The server brought me out anchovies. And I ate them with my chocolate milkshake. One of the best nights ever.“
“One of the oldest locations in Salem. The Lyceum is famous for its' longevity, history, and right now food. We ate lunch there and sat in front of the fireplace. The venue was very laid back with an atmosphere of going back in time. There is an air of energy I cannot explain other than going there yourself and experiencing it. Even though I wasn't sitting on the bar side, I managed to walk around and just get a good eye-look. The food was excellent as well as the service. Our waitress made sure we were taken care of and we didn't have a need to worry about asking for anything. The host at the entrance made sure to ask us while we were dining how the food and service were. This is a place you should visit. A bit pricey, but hell, so is everything else now-a-days. Might as well get great service and good food.“
“This was one of the most amazing dining experiences I have ever had. It was all perfect. Atmosphere, service and food all perfect. There really is not much more to say. I felt like I was scamming them for how inexpensive it was. I want to come back here just for this.“
“You have to reserve a table. We waited for 20 min before they asked us what we wanted. And what was frustrating was, the table next to us came ten minutes after us. Was asked what they would like before us.The food was excellent! The prices were more than fair.I’m glad I went and tried them.“
“Can't think of a thing on the menu that's not authentic tasting and delicious. If you go definitely order the Moussaka. It comes in a baked dish, the custard like flavor and spices used are so delicious. Also just the basic Greek potatoes are very good with a little bit of a lemon taste. Chicken any way they cook it is also good.Vegetarian options: The Mediterranean salad is excellent. Also you can order things like the Greek potatoes, spanikopita and baklava.“
“Twilight night was absolutely amazing and it definitely exceeded my expectations! Every single staff member, especially Codey, did a phenomenal job making sure that we were truly in Forks! The drink and food menu were on point! But my personal favorite drink of all was the La Push! ?The decorations were truly the cherry on top to making it the perfect night. It definitely was an unforgettable experience!“
“If you know, then you know. This place is decades old, has an awesome throwback vibe that still delivers! The old juke box is great, a couple old arcade machines, and a host or regulars and staff that make this place feel like home. Did I mention the pizza? Out of this world. A slightly unique style that is all it's own, this thin crust almost-personal sized pizza is delicious, and make just right. Dine in if you can, fresh out of the oven there is no better pizza!“
“Expect this place to be PACKED at night! This is apparently THE spot to be every night. (Which is awesome for the business, they're doing something right!) It's small and very loud when it's busy, so be prepared for that. There was a wait and a group ahead of my husband and I when we went in on Saturday night. Not really the scene for us because we were more interested in the food than the bar. We ended up stopping in for lunch Sunday afternoon instead. Way more our speed, it was quiet with a few people in there having a drink and lunch. The service was fast, friendly and attentive. The gourmet grilled cheese is out of this world! We ordered corndogs as an app, then "La Femme" and "A Fig Deal" and shared them along with some cocktails. The sandwiches were messy and delicious and I will dream of them until I return to Salem again.“
“This past Saturday, we went to the Drag brunch at Ciao. It was our first time at this restaurant and it certainly did not disappoint! The restaurant has friendly staff who are kind and very attentive. We also met one of the owners who is so nice and wants to make sure all customers are enjoying themselves. The food was delicious and the cocktails were a true craft. They are absolutely beautiful and taste delicious too. We had the banana soufflé, tiramisu pancakes, and fico pizza. We had tried the ooooo bae and mango dragon drinks. We cannot wait to come back!“
“We love the place ! Very cozy atmosphere, the food us top of the line, always fresh, always delicious! Place aways clean , neat ! The staff is very friendly, very professional ! Highly would recommend this restaurant to everyone !!! Keep up the great work guys !!!“
“Went this past weekend. Luckily made a reservation a week prior because it was packed! Very attentive service. No rush, but there when we needed him. We have cocktails at the Hidden Door before arriving so we order wine and beer straightaway. Apps were the Hamachi tartar - FANTASTIC. Onion soup - wonderful. Escargot - look at that s car go!.. Mains were equally wonderful. The skate wing was perfect. Frankly it was so good I forget what everyone else got. Desserts were also yummy. We opted for the honey lavender sorbet - light and refreshing. We'll be back!“
“35 Beach is worth a visit! In the old Beach Street location in Manchester-by-the-Sea. New owners completely remodeled inside, and it is fresh and welcoming. Food and service are excellent! I had not realized they served breakfast too, until yesterday when we stopped in - was excellent and happy to have such a nice breakfast spot back on Cape Ann...“
“Best drinks you'll ever have for the best price great crowd all the time cheap food that's great excellent staff and patrons and their staff is on point with everything definitely a staple of Peabody try signature sweet tart drink you won't regret it“
“Enjoyed eating lunch here with friends while visiting. I noticed immediately that the space is smaller, which makes it a pretty tight walk around. Even with a lot of customers the noise level was not to loud. I was disappointed when there was a set of 8 of us and they said we needed to sit at different booths. Eventually we asked if we could move to the side with a booth/table combo so we could all sit together. The waiter was not so happy. The food then was divided by the two tables (not pushed together) and then brought out at very different times. When half of the table had their pizza the other half didn't. Once they had finished then we received ours. The menu was pretty confusing due to the lack of explanation of what they all offer. It does give the description but it doesn't adequately show what they serve as specials or explain it. Turns out after we ordered we found their "march madness" wall that had all the pizzas we could order but would have had no idea what was on each one. The pizza it self was very good. It was not over done and a well rounded pizza. I think it's something I'd eat once but not say it's a "must have" again since IM NOT a huge pizza person.“
“G offers fine dining in a casual setting. Our cocktails were first rate-I especially recommend the Smoky Punch, a Mexcal-based drink. Our food was excellent too: We shared the arincini and the beet salad, and had the eggplant entree. The chocolate soufflé dessert was a fine way to end our meal. Service was friendly and attentive too.“
“My sister was up from N.J. and I brought her to this fine restautany knowing we would have a great meal. And we did! She said, looking out at the water, this is the epitome of New England charm and style! Candle lit and white linen adorned, our Martinis and ice cold, fresh oysters started us off...complimentary hot popovers and marinated mushrooms led to their famous lobster bisque. The rest of the meal and dessert, was fabulous! Service was professional, warm, and timed just right! You must go there!!“
“... One of our go-to restaurants when hitting the theater... Food is always fresh & delicious. Our waitress was excellent. She was attentive to all her tables ... it was very busy but she never made you feel like she didn't have time. It is a bit loud when the entire place is full but we were sat closer to the kitchen & it was a the perfect table. I was surprised the sounds were not overwhelming. We did have to wait for about 40 minutes for a table ... but it was Saturday @ dinner time. We chose to wait instead of sitting at the bar. We took our favorite pizza home with us .. fig & prosciutto... they did change the recipe but it was still amazing! Stop by if you're looking for great dishes or an outstanding pizza!“
