This is hands down, the undisputed best breakfast sandwich you can currently get in the Boston area. The freshly made English muffins are impeccable, the eggs always perfectly cooked. They use the highest quality ingredients, their bacon and sausage are just next level deliciousness. But it’s the small attention to details that put them over the top. Additionally, they have great customer service and if your order online you can cut the lines that form on the weekend. “I recently visited Brookline Lunch in Cambridge on a busy Sunday afternoon for brunch and the place was packed--there was even a line outside! To expedite the wait, I strategically left my partner holding our spot while I popped over to a nearby ATM for cash, knowing this spot is cash-only. After about 30-40 minutes, we were finally seated inside. Despite the crowd, the restaurant exuded a cozy, homely atmosphere. I started off with a Turkish coffee, which was akin to a condensed espresso but had a wonderfully aromatic effect. It was not quite my cup of tea/coffee but I'm more of a latte fan. I could still appreciate the artistry of it and enjoyed trying something different. For my main course, I opted for the spicy sausage shakshuka, and I thought it was a unique take on the dish. Unlike any shakshuka I've had elsewhere, this version felt more like a hearty breakfast bowl, with fewer tomato sauce but packed with all my favorite ingredients--potatoes, sausage, poached eggs, garbanzo, carrots, and delicious naan bread. We read a review that recommended the chili oil sauce and requested some. It added a nice kick to the bowl. We also decided to order the Baklava pancakes to share. While undeniably delicious, they were extremely sweet, with the top pancake boasting generous toppings of pistachio and baklava. It's a unique dish and a must-have for those with a sweet tooth, but personally, I preferred the savory shakshuka. Overall, I highly recommend everyone to try Brookline Lunch at least once. I'll certainly be back, but perhaps when the lines aren't as daunting!“

“I have been going to Camilla’s for a while! Every time I am always impressed with the food and service, the team is so friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and SO affordable! Recently I discovered they have small Açaí bowls, which is great price and a smaller portion for a quick treat! I love the mini Coxinha (small doughy shredded chicken bite) imagine the best chicken nugget you have ever had! The coffee and smoothies are delicious and so is the pão de queijo (bread cheese balls)!“

Menu fairly limited, but they offer a good amount of specials and you can find pretty much anything you would at most breakfast places. Got a biscuit breakfast sandwich that was on special. Came with home fries and ordered a side of bacon as well. Food came out quick and everything was delicious. Staff seemed to know every customer there or that came in for takeout. “The best brunch on the Northshore. Christopher's is one of Lynn's hidden gems. We go out of out way to return as often as we can. The Spanish Omlette with corned beef hash is cooked to perfection. The egg wraps, sandwiches, and most of all the home fries are fabulous.The service is always top-notch. They even went out of their way to stock turkey bacon after we mentioned it during one of our visits. Thank you!Kid-friendliness: A hit with the kids. I love how they prepare the egg! It’s such a perfect texture.. well cooked but the yoke slightly uncooked. The price is pretty steep, i paid $23 for a sandwich and a drink. The wait wasn’t very long but parking can be a bit complicated. I would recommend Mike’s.“

I’ve lived in the area my entire life and I understand the crowd here for the most part is very laid back and chill but I think it’s so rude to not have a sense of urgency when you see you have a line of people waiting to order and it’s the morning rush time. I want my tea and I plan accordingly to get it so I can arrive to work on time but it takes me 15 min easily because I have to wait for the employee to finish talking about their hair appointment…inconsiderate and rude.“
“Don't judge a book by its cover. First impression was that the cafe was small and really busy. But after we were seated and Kim came over to greet us, she was friendly and really terrific. The place calmed down a bit, we had a great table, and the food was really good. Omelette was great, tasty pancakes, home fries were crispy. We ended up lingering way too long. I would absolutely come back for the great service and the food. You have to get past the size of the cafe, and after that, you'll become a fan like we did.“

“Paul Revere Restaurant is a step back in time (in the best way) to old-fashioned diner style eating. I had to Two Lanterns and some hot coffee. The plate was super filling and delicious while being a no-frills joint. Prices were very reasonable, and you can tell a lot of diners were regulars based on their conversations with staff. Our waitress was great, and consistently checked in and topped our coffee off. We're already planning our visit back!“

“What a hidden gem! Exodus Bagels is tucked at the end of a dead end road and has the cutest little order and pickup window. They have a great menu with options ranging from breakfast sandwiches to lunch options to bagels by the dozen. Also - love the coffee from Tandem in Portland, ME :) I ordered a sausage egg and cheese on a sesame bagel - the bagel was light and crispy and the sausage was very tasty - lots of spiced flavor. My husband got the Monumental, which was very yummy as well - and messy! The service was friendly and they were able to get our order out without too much of a wait. Be aware that there are no restrooms or much of a seating area. There are a few outdoor chairs, but today was rainy so we just took the food to go. Also heads up that there is a 13% "admin fee" added to every order so they can pay their employees fair wages. I fully support fair wages...and I also support transparent pricing. There were numerous signs about this fee, so I was aware before paying. However, why not just charge more for menu items?? It's not very upfront and as a customer I'd rather just see transparent pricing so I know what I'm paying instead of trying to calculate the 13% in my head. In all, would definitely come back!“

It is a walk up window that has surprisingly good (aka long) hours that really hits the spot when I have a health food itch. It has a great selection of smoothies, power juices and bowls. While I have tried quite a few, I have landed on berrylicious being my favorite treat after a Saturday morning workout (sweet with protein in the greek yogurt base). It is 9 dollars for a small, but it feels very worth it for the quality and consistency of these smoothies. There is plenty of parking right up in front of the window and in the warmer months there is seating out front!“

I had the chicken(tenders)&waffle on Thursday and it was HEAVEN!! Then Friday I ordered the egg&bacon sandwich on dark rye with a bowl of grits. Delicious again! Most of my food was pretty good, and they do give you lots of it.I got their buffalo chicken waffles special, which was obviously something a little different but I thought it was tasty. Their homefries were nothing to write home about, pun fully intended. They were pretty mushy with only a few crispy spots.Servers were very nice. Line cooks were fast too.Didn't try any yet so I don't know how they are, but they have a wide variety of muffins behind the counter.It is great that the price is right here. Very hard to find restaurants around Boston that actually give you a decent amount of food at a reasonable price.“

This is inside a building with a very cool history, it is across the street from the state house. She had the corned beef hash and I the blue berry pancakes. Both were delicious. Service was insanely speedy and really nice. If you need a no pretense place for breakfast -- this is the place.
