We ordered the butter chicken, samosas, cheese naan (pretty much a less greasy quesadilla) and the mango lassi (mmmm that was a good mango lassi). “Ideal Sub Shop is a local favorite in the neighborhood. Their sandwiches never fail to impress. My go-to order is always the tuna sub and tuna empanadas, although I wish the empanadas were stuffed a bit more generously. Keep in mind three things: 1) they only accept cash payments. 2) they close on the early side, at 3:30 PM during the week and 3:00 PM on Saturdays. 3) there's no indoor seating available; it's strictly takeout. Ideal Sub Shop remains an amazing spot for a quick and delicious meal and the staff is always friendly.“

We ordered 5 different entrees along with appetizers and drinks. We would highly recommend the General Gau's Chicken, Beef with Fresh Mushrooms ,Shrimp with Fresh Mango, Kung Pao Chicken and the Shanghai Chowmein. For appetizers we would highly recommend the very unique and awesome Steamed Soup Dumplings. Our server Jonny was the best very knowledgeable had great recommendations, so funny, kept checking on us, focused on our needs and was so genuine & kind. We must say he was a blessing. ? “Delicious food and drinks in a cozy and dimly lit restaurant! Reservations are only for the pre fix menu so we did walk in on a weekday evening and had about a 20-25 min wait. The food was delicious - tried the lumache (gochujang bolognese) which was unique but our FAVORITE was the wild mushroom lasagne over spring onion chutney! The Szechuan peppercorn spiced drinks are interesting - recommend trying since they are unique! Tried the bread pudding and it was yummy - the bread is soaked in the equivalent of melted vanilla ice cream and had almost a mochi texture. The bread used in the dessert is the same bread given at the beginning which is house made and so fluffy“

“This review for the donuts. Omg I’ve had donuts in so many states across the country and Brassica’s is by far the best. The flavors are so well executed, unique and complex on the palate. The guava crème fraiche might be my current favorite, but the passion fruit is a close second. If you don’t have a sweet tooth like me, these donuts will really do it for you because they don’t use a traditional sugar glaze like literally every other donut shop. They’re fluffy yeast donuts with a glaze that’s more the consistency of jam and icing. 10/10 run don’t walk.“

The are not stingy with vegetables, which I appreciated. Only dinged because it was nearly impossible to have access to our wait staff during the meal due to the business.
