“Best coffee shop in spring Hill, and gives everything in Davis a run for their money easy. Always a line out the door on weekends and deservedly, but they move fast. Great pepper biscuits, great yogurt. BLT is weirdly bad but the turkey sandwich is great.“
“I was excited to try this bakery, and it didn't disappoint! At Friday around 8am there was no line outside and plenty of items on display. I ordered the almond croissant, and wow was it was amazing. Buttery and flaky with a generous, even layer of frangipane throughout. I really appreciate how they make sure to fill even the ends of the almond croissant with a liberal amount of filling (oftentimes, I've found that bakeries only place filling towards the middle of the croissant). There's no seating inside, but there are some benches outside if you want to enjoy your pastries immediately. I recommend toasting them at home first - it was delicious warmed up!“
“I always get the classic with house mayo, and it’s made perfectly every time (seriously, how do they get a runny egg so perfect?). It’s the perfect breakfast sandwich to start off my day, and it’s so affordable (under $10!) I swear my life improves just a little bit every time I eat my favorite breakfast sandwich at Mike & Patty’s.“
“Small local cafe that serves affordable coffee and amazing Italian sandwiches. For over two decades, Cafe Rustica has been a beloved cafe among the locals in this Somerville neighborhood. With classical music gently playing in the background, this quaint cafe offers a soothing ambiance that is perfect for a brief but relaxing stop.I’ve been coming to Cafe Rustica for a quick bite over the past two weeks. After trying their roast beef sandwich on my first visit, I instantly fell I love. The sandwiches here come with a perfectly toasted and pressed paninis, and each bite offered an irresistible crunch. Roast beef itself was just okay, so on my subsequent visit, I got the Italian tuna sandwich. Packed with classic Italian ingredients – like roasted peppers, a drizzle of olive oil, and fresh tomato – it was one of the best simple Italian sandwiches I had in a while. The cafe has a 45-minute limit on table usage, although I'm not entirely sure how strictly this rule is enforced. Despite the crowd during my visits, people didn’t seem to have any issue finding seating. If you’re looking for a simple Italian panini sandwiches, Cafe Rustica might just be one of the best options in the Greater Boston area. Will definitely be back to try more of their sandwiches.Parking: Free 2hr street parking on Somerville Ave (easier to find) & Beacon St“
“This restaurant deserves the absolute best review! First, the ambiance is incredible. Very calming, bright, comfy & roomy. I never felt like I was going to push my chair onto someone else which is nice. The service was perfect! Not pushy but attentive. It felt like they were perfectly staffed which also added to the calming ambiance. Last but not least, the food was of the utmost quality with great portion size as well! Everything tasted fresh & authentic. They also had fresh cocktails being made that bar tenders were really putting effort into. This is an all around great place & I'm cheering for them to succeed! If you're in the area definitely check this place out!“
“The drip coffee they serve is really good. (blind tiger coffee beans). The blood orange ricotta cookie is also 10/10. I’ve tried their cold brew and americano as well, which tasted good. I believe they used to use Broadsheet beans for some drinks, but I guess it depends/rotates(?)“
“A great experience far exceeds a great product, and I absolutely love these folks AND they make delicious sandwiches and fun drinks. Don't listen to the silly folks who 1-star this and then give a 3-star review, it's alllllll 5s baby. I work nearby and would come here anytime!“
“Really prototypical diner! Just incredibly busy, but sound bites is currently undergoing renovations so that’s to be expected. Got the #7 special- good value, decent food! They didn’t have any black tea, which was a disappointment, but I’ll give grace and assume they’d run out in the rush.“
“PLEASE GET YOUR MATCHA HERE!!! This to-go only coffeehouse has one of the BEST matcha lattes you can get in the greater Boston area. I am a Asian-American from California who is EXTREMELY picky about matcha lattes. The matcha is high quality and is blended so smoothly where you can see no lumps in your cup. I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk and it was so smooth. The people at the door are always so kind and patient with everyone. The place is dog-friendly too! The servers give out treats if the owners allow it. The drinks come out very quickly. The cafe is also right in front of the Red line, so it is a great place to pick up your drinks on the go. I also saw pastries and for breakfast sandwiches, which I need to get next time!“
“Picked up some cutie pies this time, which were $4 each. The size is good if you want to try multiple flavors, but I feel like you get more bang for your buck if you pay $9 for a 5" pie instead. - Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Cutie Pie ($4): Very thick, rich, and chocolate forward (so much so that I didn't taste any of the pecan flavor). The texture of the filling was almost like that of an undercooked brownie. Wasn't bad but probably not something I would get again because of how heavy it was; I'm glad I only got a cutie pie because it would have been hard to finish more than this. - Mixed Berry Cutie Pie ($4): Mixed berry but I only tasted blueberries. Tasted like a classic pie. I liked the crumble. Overall, both pies were satisfying, but I enjoyed the brown butter pecan pie that I got last time more.“
“I love coming to Gong Cha in Davis. The ambience is really nice and the music creates a nice atmosphere, it's not too loud and adds to the space. I come here to study a lot and there's plenty of places to study alone or with friends. The service is quick and the drinks are really yummy, my favorite is the mango green tea with coconut jelly and boba. The drinks tend to be on the sweet side so I usually go for less sugar. Really great spot, I'll definitely be coming here more often to study and snack on boba!“
“The outdoor patio is great with trees that haven't bloomed giving a cold March weekend some warmth. The food was ok with the only gluten free bread being a wrap, that I can't really recommend. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered the turkey wrap and sat in the warm sun, all in all a good experience. I'd be more definitive next time with ordering.“
“The food there is amazing, you can customize your crepe however you want. They have great drinks like hot chocolate and tea (they even have apple cider in the fall, which you can get hot if you want). In the back, you can see how they make the crepes. They also have healthy crepes if you just want to have a normal lunch, and they have gluten free crepes as well.“
“At Diesel Cafe, amidst the hum of espresso machines and the clatter of old-school gas station relics, one finds the essence of a bygone era. The timeworn ephemera adorning the walls, reminiscent of a Hemingway novel, transport patrons to a simpler time. The staff, much like characters in a well-crafted tale, are kind and helpful, adding a touch of warmth to the nostalgic ambiance. Here, one can sip coffee and pen stories, surrounded by the echoes of a literary past“
“This is maybe the best ice cream I've ever had. I recently moved from another city that didn't have much in the way of ice-cream parlors, and I am thrilled to have JP Licks available. Again, the ice cream itself is amazing: the flavors and texture of it are going to be really hard to top. I highly recommend getting a Sundae; having getting to choose a few different kinds of ice cream, plus toppings, lets you put together something really special. Plus whipped cream and a cherry on top.“
“I love the atmosphere at Zaruma Gold Coffee ... you can sit outside on the front patio and meet your friends as they walk by! If it is bad weather the inside is a very comfortable and upscale looking designed space full of fun things to browse and buy. I like the coffee there and bought some to take home. The owners are very friendly and accomadating. My dog loves the latte dog biscuits!!“
“I love Tatte! The food, the people, and the atmosphere are all wonderful. It's a great place for gathering with friends or family. You can also grab a coffee and get some work done.My favorite bread from Tatte is the Pistachio Croissant!“
“WiFi: no wifi, so use a data hotspotOutlets: adequate outlets for charging devicesFood: the chive bacon scone is quite light in flavor & would not recommend. It’s also weirdly kind of sweet. But the chocolate chip scone and pumpkin chocolate chip muffin are really goodCoffee: is also quite goodVery chill/relaxed place to work. The staff are also very kind! Thank you!“
“Placed a mobile order consisting of a flat white and a chocolate croissant, unfortunately the chocolate croissant was sold out but I was given a free item of my choice in addition to a $4 gift card; other than that my overall experience in this store was good.“
“Their combination of food and coffee goes together so well and I particularly love it because they have delicious Brazilian food being done in a way that works perfectly in a coffeehouse setting. Tem muito gostoso e te agradece o que vôces estão fazendo!“
“Trash can was overflowing, plus seating is hard to come by. They do have signs posted asking customers to limit to 30 minutes, but the reality is there are folks who camp here all day and night. If you are just popping in to pick something up, it's fine.“
“Francois and Fatuma have become wonderful friends through our coffee experience.I met Francois in Seattle many years ago at a coffee specialty conference.Yego has just celebrated its first year in Teele Square, Somerville, MA.The Cortado by Fatuma is my favorite! The coffee comes from southwest Rwanda! It’s so great that Francois has direct relationships with farmers and roasts his coffee as well.I also have a coffeebar and sell his awesome coffee.“
