“as soon as you open the door you are greeted with warm & loving energy. this place is magnificent if your looking to study, work, meet new people or simply enjoy a sense of community. Shaan who occasionally works here makes the BEST hot chocolate in this universe!!! So check it out, you will not leave disappointed :)“
“I liked this brewery. The interior design was kind of industrial noir but with a friendly feeling and the layout for seating was done well. Very excited I got a seat at the window bar top. Bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They had a unique selection of beer, a few good choices with high ABV, and some beer types I’ve never heard of. I didn’t get one but they do offer flights. They also had a selection of games you could play at your table. The street parking was tricky but that’s because of the Cambridge and not the brewery’s fault.“
“Pleasant ambiance, nice playlist. The hot waffles are yummy! But get them out of the paper very quickly or you'll be eating some of that paper glued by the sugar... Coffee wasn't "the best" in Boston, but it's smooth. Only issue was (the lack of) the space. It's very small and the few tables were hoarded by people on their laptops...“
“One of my favorite places in Boston & Cambridge: good coffee, excellent food, and pleasant ambiance. In warmer times, the back yard is very pleasant. It's very popular though, so snatching a seat can be difficult. Oh, and lately it doesn't offer takeout“
“Had a great experience at this local coffee shop. Both of our drinks were absolutely delicious- got the iced strawberry matcha and a plain cold brew. Might be my new favorite cold brew in the area! Also tried the garlic pao de queijo, which came steaming hot and was amazing. 10/10 experience and great atmosphere to get some studying in.“
“Cafe in the AM and brewery in the PM. During the day, the back taproom is a quiet working/studying space, which is amazing. Lots of seats to spread out and many people were working on laptops when we were there, but also many people having conversations. It wasn't too loud. We got breakfast burritos, flavorful drip coffee, and a delicious almond milk latte. Didn't get to try the cookies but they looked amazing. The food was superb and the staff are awesome! Easy spot to bike to.“
“Vester has something for everyone. Great coffee, tea, pastry & breakfast sandwiches for mornings; Salads, sandwiches, wine for later in the day or take out if you can’t stay. Friendly service, comfortable atmosphere - a must try. Named as one of Boston Magazine’s best new restaurants.“
“I would walk by Andala every single week and was always so curious as to what was inside and I finally did it! It says Coffee House but it also has tons of food options! The upper floor of the restaurant is definitely more cafe-like with people studying, seats by the windows, and the front where you can order coffee and desserts. Downstairs, on the other hand, offers more seating and cozy seats. Because it is a more casual place, the service is a bit inconsistent. We had multiple people come and take our order and didn't really have one server. For food, we ordered the Falafel Plate and Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. The falafel was extremely crispy and crunchy on the outside. The inside was a beautiful green color and full of flavor. The hummus and sauce it came with was also a delight. The star of the show was the shawarma sandwich. Every single bite had me verbally saying "Oh my gosh this is so good." The flavor profiles on the chicken were ridiculously delicious and the tumeric came out wonderfully without being overpowering. It was also so juicy that I could legitimately drink some out of the sandwich (even though yes, that's gross). The pita on the outside was the perfect level of chewy and the pickles in the sandwich cut each bite with acidity. I will definitely be back to try other dishes, or just for the Chicken Shawarma sandwich!“
“Pro: Best (Kulfi) cardamom ice cream in the state. It’s a mouth journey of flavors in a bite. Balanced flavor of nutty, milky/creamy, sweet, and a dash of the right amount of minty/earthy from the cardamom to top it all off.Con: Parking especially if you’re traveling alone.P.s I’ve tried another place’s cardamom ice cream it didn’t have the same kick/blast of those flavors mentioned above“
“Stopped by for an espresso and some breakfast one rainy morning. I got their featured espresso, which was pretty good—and it came with a glass of sparkling water, which was nice. The biscuits sandwich was pretty good too, even if the slice of cheese it came with was almost comically thin. Everyone working their was really nice, though for how many people were behind the counter, it took a while to get my coffee. But that's okay, the vibs are chill, there's lots of space inside and bathrooms too.“
“Wonderful restaurant! I am about to graduate college and I have been eating here with my family and friends since I was a baby. The people who work here are the kindest people you will ever meet and the food is delicious! There are tons of options for eaters of all kinds. My favorite items are the Dan Dan noodles, dumplings, and smoothies. It’s my favorite place to eat in the Boston are and you definitely don’t want to miss it! It’s located in the middle of a beautiful part of Cambridge and very easily accessible. It’s a very walkable area and this place is the perfect pit stop mid walk. I will continue eating here for as long as I can :)Vegetarian options: I ate here before I was a vegetarian and have eaten here many times since and there are many options.Dietary restrictions: Many food and drink options.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. My parents used to bring me to eat here as a baby.Wheelchair accessibility: There are buttons to open the door and the restaurant is on one level.“
“This and the Inman square location are the best coffee houses in Camberville. The staff are friendly and helpful, the coffee and tea are great, the tea is giving in a pot with a basket to remove so you can control how long you let it steep for. The atmosphere is the best, a real gem of Somerville and Cambridge, support them whenever you can!“
“It is very busy at noon on weekdays, but there is no shortage of seats. It feels like everyone is enjoying their leisure time amidst the noise. The food is delicious, there is a gluten friendly menu, there is no vegan food (you can adjust it yourself without adding anything), and you can't just make egg white.“
“great sandwich pairings and a decent bagel assortment-- wish they didn't only have certain options on the weekend though. the ambiance here though is unbeatable, extremely cozy and a great place to eat and catch up with friends! also a great to-go.“
“I think the atmosphere is what everyone dreams of for a cafe and I’m sure the events are a lot of fun. I would definitely come back to hangout or do some reading. But on my first visit my friends and I mainly wanted to pop in to quickly grab a drink and some pastries. Overall the food and drinks were a bit disappointing. The drink portions were small but also did not pack much flavor. My iced matcha was passable but the hot matcha a friend got was so diluted it tasted almost like nothing. The pound cake we got was also incredibly dense and dry.“
“A very cozy cafe in Cambridge with friendly staff. They offer a wide variety of vegetarian eats including smoothies, acai bowls, and toasts. I ordered an acai bowl, and the amount was definitely worth the price, and you can tell it was freshly made, on the spot.“
“Review for Inman Sq location. My “Cheers” for 20 years (without the “Norm!” greeting) Friendly service, customers, a limited but mighty menu of breakfast and lunch sandwiches and baked goods. Neighborhood feel. When they have em, the chocolate chip cookie is an excellent treat.“
“Cool tea store. Everything is bagged up and sealed already. Everything also have labels and is sorted by tea type. There is an employee there who can answer questions and give recommendations if needed. Please sure to try out their tea. They have cups and trash can there.“
“Came here a few times for breakfast and it was phenomenal. Big portions and a bang for your buck. Asian customer needs to be kinder to her granddaughter though. Granny slammed her little one's takeout on the table, got me thinking she probably failed a quiz in Elementary. She got good taste though.?“
“Jeff is the best! First time in the area, and just needed a quick bite/iced coffee on a hot afternoon before seeing a show. Didn’t want to risk being late so when we saw this Dunkins as we walked towards the theater, we stopped in. Kids were indecisive but Jeff was patient with them, and just an overall joy to be around. When we travel, we look for dining we can’t experience at home but sometimes you are treated to a few minutes of friendly service at a regular chain and it makes your day! This will be our go-to when we return to the area. Thank you, Jeff!“
“One of the best coffee programs in greater Boston; highlighting craft roasters, many of them local. Rotates pretty regularly so there’s always something new.Decent vegan options which are super appreciated. Big fan of the vegan baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. Lots of interesting looking non-veg stuff beyond the standard egg/cheese breakfast sando (which they have too, don’t freak out). The bagels are really good.Definitely a step up from a lot of the other cafes in Cambridge/Somerville.“
“Come here for brunch, it will be amazing. The servers are the best, friendly and attentive. The homemade vanilla latte was so delicious, not overly sweet and you can taste the high quality ingredients. The food is delicious and fresh, huge portions. 10/10 I recommend.“
“We’ve been eating here a few times a year (other than during Covid) for about 10 years we’ve never had anything other than exceptional food. The sticky bun is the star of the show (aka for extra goo!!!!) but everything that is to your personal taste is fantastic.“
“I’ll drive from New York City to have anything in this place. I had breakfast sandwich and a cafe au lait and it was amazing. the pastries are simply amazing. this location is new but the staff are adhering to the guidelines, if you want to go back to a nicer and improved Paris come here. 1 suggestions warm up the chocolate croissant (divine)Dietary restrictions: vegan cheese as a possible substitute would be great“
“Best chickens wings we’ve had in a long time. Calzone was dripping cheese too, just the way you like it.Husband and wife appear to be the owners and their two little kids just got out of school and provided fun entertainment.Very nice family, and very good food. Definitely worth a stop“
“It’s the best for coffee and pastries, the lemon bar has ruined me for all other lemon bars. The toffee cookie was going through some rough patches for a while after they did some retooling, but it’s now back to the top shelf. ???Parking: EV Charging is back online“
“Unquestionably THE best pizza in all of Metro Boston -there is something truly magical about the crust. And the pizza is just one of the outstanding foods produced by Plum T and by far the nicest group of people in Harvard Square. Having moved from the Boston area to Canada, where they think frozen fries drowned in brown gravy and cheese curds is a food group, I miss Oggi’s every day.“
“Surprisingly good coffee; there was even heart latte art. My latte was good with stable foam. There is some seating here. I didn’t have to wait too long. There is a large table near the area where people stand waiting for their coffee so the waiting area feels very congested. The seating area is nice if meeting someone. There are some baked goods but I didn’t find them as visually appealing.“
“Pastries are my weakness and Flour bakery has much to do about that! From the first homemade Oreo to the apple spice cake to the fresh soups, sandwiches & salads! I have enjoyed everything since Flour bakery opened their first location in the south end! Grab a cookbook if you can! I lost mine and need to get that Oreo recipe!“
“THE best addition to Central in the past year, hands down. Let me count the ways (in no particular order):1) very decent caffeinated drinks2) open late3) has alcohol, too4) cool vibe5) fast internet6) decent baklava, empanadas, and spinach pieTake all my money.“
“This place is amazing. I go here for lunch. They have amazing hotdogs and a fantastic breakfast sandwich. I stop in for drinks. They make great cocktails and amazing adult frappes and have a good beer selection. Also just discovered Kool aid pickles! This is a fun quirky place that is definitely worth checking out!“
“I've been here a couple of times for the protein smoothies. They're delicious. Service has seemed a little lackluster but I will be coming back anyway to try their coffee, which as a coffee snob I can tell from smell without having tasted, is likely to be significantly above average.“
“YEAHHHH this was great!! I had debated whether to visit aJ.P. Licks since it seems like a bigger chain compared to other ice cream shops. It was so good, highly worth a stop if you’re in the area. I tried the cookies n’ cream cake batter flavor and a maple-based flavor. So good, soft, and not overly “
“Tried for the first time and overall enjoyed the experience.Drinks: Mocha was well balanced and tasty.Sandwiches: Got the Darwin’s Mt. Auburn (turkey sandwich) and Strawberry Hill (beets sandwich). Both tasted good but were pretty messy to eat. They seemed a little hastily made (ie: bread toasted but cheese was not melted) and fell apart easily. People complain the sandwiches were too small, but I disagree. The Darwin’s was massive and the Strawberry Hill was a normal portion that would leave you satisfied.Atmosphere: cozy cafe vibes on one side.Prices: Felt a little high for lunch sandwiches but experience was positive enough that I felt like I’d gotten good value.Would return!“
“Simply the best! The Little Blue Bakery was the talk of the party for my daughters Graduation Party. Not only is the food cart ridiculously charming, the food, drinks, and coffee were such a hit. I loved working with Hannah and didn’t realize all her treats are HOME MADE. I was so happy to have discovered this hidden gem and to introduce @thelittlebluebakery to Metro West.“
“I am Ukrainian and lived in Cambridge in 2023. I was working in Walgreens. And Simon's become for me a very important space where i felt support and kindness. I am in Poland now, but i miss you all guys and want to say a great thanks for very tasty coffee, for special atmosphere for your smiling faces. Even rainy days was fool of light with you.Love you all, yours Catherine.“
“I love the pizza here! My reservation process was seamless; I reserved via OpenTable and my table was ready as soon as I arrived. The drink options on the menu did not appeal to me, as I don't drink alcohol and the only non-alcoholic drinks listed were mocktails under "Zero-Proof," all of which were more than $6. My server was very accommodating and allowed me to order iced tea with simple syrup for $3, an item not on the menu. I wish that the menu listed soft drinks or tea, though. The pizza and garlic knots are very good, but they are a bit pricy - I don't know if they were overpriced because I'm not sure what the local cost of ingredients or labor is, I just know that I personally would rather not pay so much.“
“Their cheesecakes and filled donuts were exceptional, and the brunch options also impressed. The cozy ambiance added to the delightful experience. Highly recommend for anyone seeking tasty sweets and delicious brunch in a lovely setting. Don't miss this gem! ???“
“I'm not a coffee chain person, but bluebottle has one of the best locations in the square, with more natural light than any other place you could gather. It might not be your vibe - think modern art museum versus cozy/hygge (go to Faro for that around the corner!)Can't beat the NOLA, and I'd suggest adding a shot of espresso to the yuzu fizz to make a Japanese spin on an espresso tonic...“
“Good boba place located conveniently near campus for students. Variety of drink options but I got a standard black milk tea with boba half sweetness and less ice. The half sweetness was still pretty sweet but nonetheless tasty. A few tables inside to hangout or study“
“I want to give this place 5 stars, but every time I get food from here it’s sloppily prepared and is a major task to eat. Don’t get me wrong, it’s so tasty, but I find it falls apart or is soggy within 10 minutes because there’s either too much sauce or it’s thrown together.“
“Fairly yummy. I had a pepperoni pastry; it's like an elegant pizza, but instead of using dough it uses a croissant pastry underneath. Unfortunately the pepperoni in the middle was cold; there should be a way to heat it up and make it taste more nice. The berry cream pastry was better; the cream could have been a bit lighter, but the berries were fresh and the flakiness of the pastry was on point.“
“I really love the location and ambience of this Caffè Nero location, it's situated right outside the Porter T stop and is the perfect place to stop in for some takeaway, or settle in and relax with a hot drink. There are several nooks and crannies filled with tables and chairs here, making it an ideal place to study, work, or catch up with a friend. During my visit here, I ordered a hot mocha with skim milk, which they made very quickly for me despite the line. It was perfectly warm (not too scalding hot) and kept at a good temperature almost the entire hour I spent there. While it wasn't the best drink I've ever had, it was pretty solid and left me satisfied.“
“I liked this place. Espresso shot was pretty good. I would have liked some sparking water or seltzer water to help clean my pallet but major respect for the pour over. Absolutely delicious. Come here to drink a pour over. A buddy of mine tried to get a 16 oz pour over and they said, nope, that will dilute the coffee and we can’t do that. Only 10oz. That’s beautiful. I loved it. Come on by and drink a pour over..Glory to God!“
“Convinced this is the best Starbucks going. Every morning, the service and quality here make my commute so much more enjoyable! My order is perfect and ready quickly every time. Seasonal and other happy stickers are often found on my coffee cups, staff is always friendly, and fresh samples of drinks and treats are a fun and frequent surprise. Thank you for brightening my mornings!“
“Great drinks and fast service Only complaint is that they always got the ordered size wrong (small instead of large). The picking up area/countertop is also confusing. Always packed with people waiting for their drinks and confusion along with it. I will be back for the good drinks. Hopefully the right order next time.“
“Been here many times. I legit think the French toast here is the best I've ever had (and I have had a lot of French toast). It's so perfectly fried, and there are many delicious topping choices. My favorite I've tried is the seasonal pumpkin one in the fall. Bit of a sweetness overload though, can't finish it all. But hot tip: they do half portions of French toast so you can combine it with something savory. I also like their sandwiches, biscuits, and home fries. Despite a lot of love for their pancakes, I'd say they are just fine. Mixed experiences with service are making me dock a star. Sometimes they are very slow and inattentive. Even with reservations, they sometimes make you wait a good bit for a table. I guess it makes sense since this place is SO busy. Without reservations, the wait on weekends is insane. So def recommend making one or coming on a weekday.“
