“Prices increases a little but quality of the food is still good. I always get their Clam strip dinner which comes with only fries. Wish they offered Cole slaw with it if you're charging $22-$23 for the dinner portion . Cheeseburger cooked fresh from the grill. Onions minced up like McDonald's. I believe their lobster rolls are $22 now? Not bad . Great customer service and clean environment after renovations. Overall, like many places, prices slightly have gone up but portion size the same . A little sad soft serve ice cream is double the price now lol $4.50 for soft serve on a cone . Time has changed .“

“Been here many times. I legit think the French toast here is the best I've ever had (and I have had a lot of French toast). It's so perfectly fried, and there are many delicious topping choices. My favorite I've tried is the seasonal pumpkin one in the fall. Bit of a sweetness overload though, can't finish it all. But hot tip: they do half portions of French toast so you can combine it with something savory. I also like their sandwiches, biscuits, and home fries. Despite a lot of love for their pancakes, I'd say they are just fine. Mixed experiences with service are making me dock a star. Sometimes they are very slow and inattentive. Even with reservations, they sometimes make you wait a good bit for a table. I guess it makes sense since this place is SO busy. Without reservations, the wait on weekends is insane. So def recommend making one or coming on a weekday.“

“Hidden in the residential area is the best lobster roll I have ever eaten! The weather was nice last weekend, so this lobster lover finally came to check out the lobster roll at this seafood shop. Lobster sandwich: It is obviously just ordinary bread, but it is fried until fragrant and then filled with thick fresh lobster meat. It only needs simple seasoning - a little mayonnaise, salt, black pepper and green onions to highlight the freshness and sweetness of the lobster. The bread is fried in butter but not greasy, and the cold lobster meat tastes fresh and chewy, not fishy at all, and basically uses the meat from the lobster body, unlike the lobsterroll in many restaurants that is cooked with tongs. It tasted so delicious, so I asked specifically, thinking that some magical sauce was added to the seasoning, but I didn't expect it to be that simple. wonderful! (The price is slightly more expensive now, $35 each.)After finishing one, I bought a second one and continued eating it in the evening. From now on, I will eat here probably once a week, it is very good! !I went and bought two more yesterday^ ^ Delicious!“

The interior may be cozy, but its charming décor and ample outdoor seating make up for it. Portion sizes exceeded our expectations; a single scoop suffices due to their generous servings. With a diverse array of flavors, ranging from familiar classics to intriguing blends like banana oreo, our taste buds were in for a treat. Despite initial doubts, the unconventional combinations proved to be a delightful surprise. I opted for the banana oreo, a fusion like no other, and it was a flavor revelation. Meanwhile, my partner savored the white chocolate chocolate chip, equally satisfying. While the bill tallied up to around $11, the quality of service, portion sizes, and flavor variety made it a worthwhile indulgence.“

“When visiting a French restaurant expectations are high. The food tends to be exquisite and some dishes are here. The Foie Gras is amazing and so are all the deserts we tried. However the escargot which is something I always try at French restaurants was only ok.The service varies on who your server is as we had friends who came to the restaurant after we sat and we ordered before they even got their menus and yet they had their appetizers first. When looking for someone to call for a refill and even when we wanted the menus for desert, it is very difficult to catch anyone looking at your table as if each waiter will only look at their own table only. On the bright side they brought us water as soon as we sat and refilled it often. That is how I would get someone's attention...finish my water so someone could come by and I could ask for something. The place is very small and you will have to be a party of two and be lucky to get a table without a reservation, which is what happened with our friends..who came in a little after we sat and were hoping they could sit with us, but with such little space it seemed unlikely they would even be able to get a table but as they were asking a table for two was leaving. Its rather on the expensive side which can be understood with the quality of some of the dishes, however I would except everything to be great for these prices. Its a good place with potential to be great.“

“Amorino Gelato on Newbury Street offers a delightful gelato experience, with excellent service, a charming interior, and high-quality, flavorful gelato that sets it apart.Full/Extended Version:My visit to Amorino Gelato on Newbury Street was a delightful experience from start to finish. Located in a bustling area full of enticing bubble tea spots, restaurants, and a nearby Trader Joe's, Amorino stands out as a gem for gelato lovers. One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional service we received. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about their gelato offerings, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The interior of the gelateria was charming, with a cozy ambiance that invited us to sit and savor our gelato. But the true star of the show was, of course, the gelato itself. Amorino's gelato is a cut above the rest, offering a natural denser, richer flavor than traditional ice cream. Each scoop was bursting with flavor, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The variety of flavors and the way they were presented, shaped like a blooming flower, added to the overall experience.Whether you're in the mood for a classic flavor like stracciatella or something more adventurous like mango or pistachio, you can expect nothing but the best from Amorino. Each flavor we tried was delicious, and it was clear that a lot of care and attention went into crafting each batch of gelato. If you're in the mood for some delicious gelato in a charming setting with excellent service, look no further than Amorino Gelato on Newbury Street. “This place is simple. It sells boba, and it sells waffles. I’ve tried the waffles, next time boba! But I did really love the variety it had with waffles. Lots of fun flavors like strawberry cheesecake and apple pie (which I got). I also loved how all the employees handled the waffles with care. The place was pretty busy on a Saturday evening with not a ton of space. I got my waffle in about 10 minutes and ate it on the walk to the theater. The apple pie waffle was good. The waffle itself was hot and yummy. It wasn’t a Belgian waffle, but it wasn’t a normal waffle either. The batter must have something in it to make it taste a bit different. It was pretty fluffy and held up the toppings quite well. The cinnamon apple chunks were lightly warmed and gently sweet. The “crust” was Biscoff cookies. I think a Graham cracker crumble would have been better because the Biscoff was too sweet compared to the apples and waffle.I’ll definite come again!“

“This is a great place for groups and families. It’s overall a great time for bowling and nice little novelty experience if you haven’t tried it before. We only had two people so it might not have been worth it but we enjoyed it anyway. I actually liked the paper scoring but I can see why people would prefer automated.Unfortunately the lanes next to use kept breaking and it affected us getting enough balls, at one point our lane just had one and we kept having to wait for it to return to finish our turn. Other lanes had plenty and it would have been nice to have a staff member try and make it more even (further annoyance was that when we saw another lane only have one we gave a few of ours…? not realizing it would break and we would be down to one). We eventually just lost steam and finished up within the hour.Food service: extremely quick food service, and friendly staff. No complaints here.Food: the pizza was good, not amazing. They could have had more toppings for the speciality pizzas. We also ordered a drink which was ok. We finished the night off with dessert and got a lemon blueberry whoopie pie with ice cream. I kid you not, the whoopie pie tasted like Entemann’s little bites that you get at the grocery store. The lemon cream was way too sugary. I appreciated the whole locally sourced ingredients and the high quality… but it’s gotta taste good too.Overall we enjoyed the experience but it’s not my favorite.“

“This was my first ever Tatte location I went to. It was warm out so I sat outside for a nice view. Got the prosciutto toast with pesto and goat cheese and now it’s my go to Tatte dish. Their honey halva house latte is a must try too - also my go to Tatte drink.“

“Serg & Evelina have created my favorite little-known coffee shop and I almost do not want to write this post and blow up my spot. My husband and I go here as often as we can. It is so nice to feel like a part of a neighborhood and community. We stumbled upon Bikeeny and are so happy we did.“

“I always get the classic with house mayo, and it’s made perfectly every time (seriously, how do they get a runny egg so perfect?). It’s the perfect breakfast sandwich to start off my day, and it’s so affordable (under $10!) I swear my life improves just a little bit every time I eat my favorite breakfast sandwich at Mike & Patty’s.“

“Such friendly service and warm atmosphere! Love the interior, the booths were comfortable to sit at! Loved the personal photos on the wall and the bright colors of the decor. It was hard to choose what to pick since everything sounded wonderful. The hummus and cucumber mint dip with the hot pita were the best start with! Could have eaten just that for lunch but had to try the bowls. The falafels were crispy on the inside and soft and inviting in the inside. You could taste and see the freshness of all the ingredients! The mint lemonade, get yourself a pitcher! Finished with the homemade baklava, oh my gosh, so freaking flavorful! The family owned restaurant is top notch! Even if your not a vegetarian, you will enjoy the flavors and variety, also you will be full for the rest of the day! Looking forward to coming back next time in the area!“

“Short Path is one of my fav places in the Boston area. I’ve been here multiple times but most recently to celebrate a surprise birthday party. The gin and drinks are phenomenal but what surpasses that is the staff. Very kind and accommodating! There was a hiccup in the event on our end but they were the best.Jeff who was working in the distillery was so kind and sweet. No doubt that we will be back!!Definitely consider Short Path Distillery to host your event!!“

“I stopped in here with a friend after a long walk and I'm so glad we went here. We got there not too much before closing, but they were just as friendly and accommodating as if we got there first thing. They have a ton of options, including plenty for vegetarians and vegans. I got the breakfast burrito (as I am seemingly always craving one) and my friend got the caprese. I was tempted by the treats they had in the display case, but we opted just to get our sandwich/burrito. Our food came out quickly and was perfectly made. I really appreciated that the egg in my burrito was bodega-style which made it so much less messy to eat. My friend practically devoured her sandwich; she thought the maple balsamic was so tasty and the veggies and pesto were really fresh. She has food allergies and was really happy with how much they laid out what was and wasn't in the food. They had convenient parking and plenty of outdoor tables. I will definitely come back when I'm in town.“

“Came in for a quick visit and the main seating area was very busy. Lots of people working, which is to be expected for any cafe in Boston. The staff was friendly and lively when they took my order. I just got a raspberry crumb bar and it was linzer tart like and delicious! They had some other tasty options it seemed so I will probably be back for a study session.“

“The true draw of this location is the staffs' diligence when it comes to the initial vetting dogs. I'm glad we can bring our pet here knowing that, while we have to keep watch, we can lower the intensity and enjoy being in the space. This, accompanied by their constant awareness of all the dogs running around, makes for a great time for us owners while the animals get to be off leash doing their own thing.“

“Tasty beers, friendly staff, and some off the wall pizzas (though I haven't had any, the toppings qualify as nutso bonkers). Also near a bunch of solid restaurants if bar pizza isn't your thing. Highly recommend if you like beer and are a nice person. I should also mention that Liam, one of the beertenders, is super friendly and obviously deserving of a raise!“
