I did not consider the Hot friend chicken sandwich spicy, I wish it was hotter. The wonton chips that come with the crab dip are delicious! The bowl also tasted awesome but I wish they cut the home fries and Brussel sprouts smaller. I could have drank the dirty Chai tea alcoholic drink all day. It was handicap accessible but is street parking and I only noticed one handicap stop.“

Our server was Sara as we requested her because of another incredible visit a few weeks ago. She gave us time as they were running late and did it with a smile. Her presence was noticed by them as she is always so happy, professional and made lunch special. My wife had the Chicken Pot Pie and she said it reminded her of her Grandmother. Our friends had a fish dish and they enjoyed it. I had the Shrimp and Scallop Pasta. It was delicious, absolutely delicious. We had cannoli for dessert and they were delicious as well. We will be back and Sara mentioned the outside deck would be a great spot in the Spring, Summer and Fall.“

“I recently received a gift card to this restaurant so this past weekend I decided to take my mother for dinner there. It is a nice restaurant, good sized, and you may sit either in the dining room or at the bar. The menu has something for everybody on it with steaks, sandwiches, seafood and salads available. I had the steak tips. They were delicious and cooked exactly the way that I specified. On the menu it says they are served with fries but my server let me switch out the fries for mashed potatoes instead. I also had the coleslaw that they serve with the steak tips. It is made with kale and is very delicious. My mother had a sandwich and she enjoyed it as well. The atmosphere here is very nice and if you are lucky and can get a table near the windows you will get a great view of the beautiful Boston skyline. From the service to the food to the beverages we really enjoyed our dinners.“

I had the most delicious strawberry and basil scone for breakfast (I saw the staff restocking the bakery items throughout the day, so fresh goodies kept coming out) and then a great crab cake sandwich for lunch. “My fiancé and I moved to Weymouth a few months ago and one of the first places we went to eat was Johnny Kono's. At first, we were thrown off by how few tables there were, but once we settled in and the food started coming, it has become one of our favorite places to eat. The El Chapo wings are some of the best we've ever had, great spice and flavor with a some acidity to tie it all together. The burgers are incredible, even the Louis lunch burger, which although very simple, always is delicious. They really live up to their claim of being a "Five Star Dive Bar." “I really love coming to meadowbrook but their new steep pricing makes it out of my regular budget. $24 for country fried chicken, fries and slaw (as a special)? I understand food prices have gone up but they’re pricing out their regulars. I would come at least once a week but, for a family, it’s too much for that. Maybe if there was a reason, any entertainment, it would be a reason to bring the family. I feel like this spot could thrive with the right prices and events to bring the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s crowd in. I also think the function hall area is severely underused. It is usually crowded and noisy. Our server was personable and got our drinks and food quickly. The Snug is, as the name suggests, a snug Irish pub filled with Irish memorabilia. The Smithwicks had a plump foamy head and is lighter than Guinness. My SO's sangria had a hint of peach schnapps flavor. The Greek salad was more than enough for two. The fried haddock sandwich was so big I thought it was the fish dinner. The fish was flaky with a crunchy exterior and the roll was soft and delicious. I had it served with vegetables; the carrots and green beans were tasty but the broccoli was cold. The appetizing chicken salad sandwich was a bit different; shredded chicken and craisins were on a hot dog bun and the mayo was on the side. We will return to The Snug soon to enjoy the music, food and drinks.“

The signage was confusing and had two business names including "O'Leary's Pub." We went in and the place was neat and well organized although somewhat dated and a bit worn down and old (sort of like most of the patrons the average age of which was probably 75). There was also an unused stage--damned shame since I love live music. BUT... To me, the food and the service matter the most since that's what we were there for! The server was very friendly and prompt, and we ordered a tuna melt and pot roast--both were delicious! So I'm giving this one 5 stars.“
