We biked to Pie Chicks from Oak Bluffs on a summer Saturday, eager to taste the delicious pies we read about. We knew it would be close to closing when we arrived, but we made it with 5 minutes to spare. Unsurprisingly, they were sold out of pies (we recommend getting there earlier in the day...we certainly will next time). Delicious pies, cookies, granola, etc.. I have tried pretty much everything on their menu and it is all delicious. I would say my very favorites are the peach blueberry and apple blueberry pies. The pies are fresh and not like the typical store bought with sanding sugar lots of gooey fruit syrup. I will definitely be back when I visit again.

Whew. Love LOVE this pie. Have stopped buying them one at a time because of the speed at which they disappear. The other baked goods are excellent. But you must try the pie. Probably top three crusts of my life and I am from the south. We also stop by before heading back to the ferry and take a few off island and they freeze well extending the joy for months to come. Treat yourself!
