“Exceptional dining experience at Fogo de Chao! Diana and Samuel provided top-notch service throughout our meal. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively. Highly recommend dining here for a memorable culinary experience!“
“Had a great experience at this local coffee shop. Both of our drinks were absolutely delicious- got the iced strawberry matcha and a plain cold brew. Might be my new favorite cold brew in the area! Also tried the garlic pao de queijo, which came steaming hot and was amazing. 10/10 experience and great atmosphere to get some studying in.“
“We absolutely love this place!! Tried this outlay night for a restaurant week deal with only 41 to try all sorts of meat - so worth it! We had beef, chicken, pork, duck and lamb until we were very sick and couldn’t take more? All servers were very polite and nice. They kept giving us food!“
“Really delicious steaks, I loved the plantain and fried cassava bits. A variety of items at the salad bar, and nice side dishes. Servers were amazing. The Cajà fresh juice was really good!!! The only observation would be to make sure the line to self-served dishes should be on the other side to clear off the front area near the dessert counter. Other than that the food was outstanding. Definitely visit again!“
“Absolutely delicious, the fish and shrimp muqueca was amazing and the fried yuca will be a staple in our household. Crab cake was good, as well. Definitely ask for a side of hot sauce if you can do spicy food! Feels very cozy, not at all corporate. Almost like you're part of the family. Definitely worth the price for the food.“
“I’ve never had such delicious meat in all my life. i’ve been to steak restaurants before where I’ve had to send the steak back because it’s raw. Would never have to do that here. Everything is delicious and perfectly seasoned. They even brought out a tray of lemons and limes for my daughter to enjoy.Vegetarian options: Market tableKid-friendliness: There were kids in the restaurants and no one had a problem with itWheelchair accessibility: No stairs it’s a mall“
“All the best. Brazilian flavor. Excellent service, welcoming, comfortable atmosphere, wide variety of products.Wonderful coxinha, piePudding, brigadeiro, passion fruit mousse,...Perfect orange juiceFood per kilo... TastyButcher shop, market, ....“
“I was just in the mood for some Brazilian type pastries for lunch, and looked it up on Yelp! My daughter and I drove from Woburn to Somerville and ordered an assortment of goods... You know when you experience something that takes you back to your childhood?? This was it for me...the ambience, the friendliness, and the flavors. Me, my daughter and my inner child drove home with smiles on our faces with food for my wife and my mother to enjoy!!! Amazing! We’ll be back soon!“
“If you haven't visited, you are missing out. We were there on a busy Saturday night. The place was full. Everything was so clean and orderly. There were many employees walking around making sure everyone was okay. The live music (you have to make a reservation for a table in the extra room) was amazing. The guitarist played many genres new and old. Our server was always checking in but not overbearing. The drinks were cold and delicious. The passion fruit caipirinha is a must. The food was delicious. My wife got food by the pound. I decided to go with a portion order. Everything was so fresh and good. Definitely going back soon.“
“Went here after seeing the USS constitution & before heading over to the bunker hill monument. The ladies working were exceptionally sweet. Very affordable prices. The egg and cheese on everything was delicious. Friends got Brie and cheese and really enjoyed. The orange juice was yummy and my friend said the cafe con leche was awesome. Highly recommend!!“
“I love this place go there All the time even made friends with the workers everyone is so kind and I loved the service and staff I will continue to go here and I have been coming here for years grew up with Santanas and it’s always so clean I am very impressed and my favorite things are the acai , smoothies, and any bakery item love this place ❤️“
“Customer on service on point when I walked in. Multiple people saying hi. Guy comes over and tells me how system works, sides then meat. Asked him for medium rare. Found a medium rare piece for me. Took me through all the meats they offer. Set me up with a great box. Food was hot, savory, and succulent. I moved nearby. I'll be eating a lot of meat.“
“Being only open for 2.5 hours once a week, Matcha Boy is a bit of an elusive find inside Nibble Kitchen at Bow Market. However, it's worth visiting if you can catch the window. The staff was super friendly and walked me through the menu. I was between the Azuki Matcha Latte or the CHAffogato but ultimately decided to go for the latter since it's not something I've seen at a matcha spot before. For $6, I got a cup of sweet vanilla ice cream drowned in some hot hojicha. I originally thought that they would give me the hojicha separately to pour myself, but they do it for you before handing over your order, so be sure to have your camera ready if you are interested in recording (I missed my opportunity haha). The ice cream was rich and the perfect amount of sweetness, which is what I love the most about Asian desserts. It also had bits of ice that added some texture variety with each bite. The hojicha added a subtle nuttiness that elevated the ice cream. If I had a biscotto or cookie to top this off, it would have been perfect.Overall, I am really happy that I got to try this dessert, and I'll definitely be back to try the Azuki Matcha Latte.“
“Excellent, homemade food, served family style. Quick, friendly service. We are non-Portuguese speakers, and most of the staff are not comfortable with speaking English. With kindness and patience, we and the hostess and waitstaff were able to communicate, and we enjoyed our meal and the service greatly! Thanks! I considered taking off one star for two reasons: 1) the ambiance is perhaps, primitive. It feels a bit like a lunch counter, especially compared to the fancier places in the area which are newer or have been re-done. 2) By serving food family style, the restaurant is able to produce better food, in quantity, more quickly. HOWEVER, it means that everyone must agree on what they're getting. There ends up being a more limited choice for dinner. I expect that if the restaurant gets more business, they will make more money and will be able to address the ambiance, which will then bring in further business. At heart, this restaurant serves great food at a great price and I wish them all the best.“
“This is a to go place more then anything it cheap and delicious food. There are seat the number of them is limited. This is not a go with a big party place. This is very much a brasilian community staple place. It for the people who are on the way home and don't want to cook you grab the food and go home and enjoy in peace. This is a kilo restaurant where you pay by the weight of food you get so the more you get the more you play I got 3 lbs of food for about $dollar it is my lunch and dinner for the day cuz I got to much food.“
“The Oasis Restaurant provided an exceptional experience. From the welcoming ambiance to the amazing cuisine, every detail was thoughtfully considered. The dishes, filled with authentic flavors, surprised and delighted my palate. The impeccable service from the staff, combined with the pleasant atmosphere, made the meal even more memorable. Without a doubt, I would recommend the Oasis Restaurant to anyone seeking a high-quality dining experience.“
“My friend lost his mother who lived in Brazil, and it was very difficult to watch him deal with this loss and not be able to be there. I reached out to Brasil on Ferry with no knowledge of Brazilian culture or cuisine, they helped me pick traditional food, quantities and offered to deliver it even though it was just outside their normal delivery zone. The wife and husband gave me wonderful advice and made this one of the best service experiences I've ever had! Thank you Paulo!“
“(Translated by Google) I was very happy to find several Brazilian products, the sausage (sausage) equal to the Brazilian one. Congratulations on the service, I also liked the price of many products and keep it up. Five star because I can't give more.(Original)Fiquei muito feliz de encontrar vários produtos brasileiros, o salsichao ( linguiça ) igual ao brasileiro. Parabéns pelo atendimento, gostei também do preço de muitos produtos e continuem assim. Cinco estrela porque não posso dar mais.“
“Mineirão is small but packed to the brim with Brazilian goodies. They are stocked with calabresa and paio, types of Brazilian sausages that are very hard to find in other markets in the US (and I've been to several looking for them...). Their snack aisle was full of all childhood favorites including Fandangos (an addicting corn based chip) and polvilho (a crunchy, airy snack). They have an extensive cafe menu that I will come back to try.“
“I really liked the food! Great option for Brazilian food. I recommend eating by the kilo since you eat what you want, get whatever roast meat you want, fresh off the grill... very good! I liked it and recommend it to anyone who likes Brazilian food.“
“I love ordering from here to bring these little snacks at parties. It's a hit with kids and adults. During New Year's Eve, I stopped by to order and oh boy, the place was literally packed with people all trying to get this for parties. They limited flavors to only chicken and cheese for the night so that's what I did. 200 balls for only $24. Still well worth it. I've had the churros flavor before and it's so good. I'm looking forward to parties so I can get these again. HahaParking: Street parking but it's right on Broadway so it gets busy sometimes. Side streets a couple blocks away had more spots.“
“Great spot! Any place that attracts some element of entertainment or nightlife is always going to get some disgruntled reviews. But we had a great time here. Had a late bite and some cocktails and we really enjoyed the service and music after. Been making a point to support local and been to a few spots I never tried, as someone born and raised in Somerville. Definitely recommend stopping in! Especially for folks looking for some Brazilian music and fare.“
“I’m a Gringo & don’t speak a lick of Portuguese. But this is one of my favorite restaurants in Massachusetts. It’s not much to look at from the outside, but the buffet is incredible, and the selection of meat is outstanding. I always overfill my plate with fruit, vegetables, and meat, and the price is consistently around $20 for me. Whenever I’m in the Waltham or Newton area, this is my go to place for lunch. Incredibly friendly people. Parking isn’t always easy, you may have to drive around the block a couple of times to find street parking. But well worth it!“
“This place is pick up only. They have 2 sizes of bites. I ordered premium, they significantly larger and my opinion much tasty. I personally like chicken and chicken with cheese. They also have Brazilian soda Guarana, it is my favorite, much healthier than Pepsi or Cola. I strongly recommend this place especially if you planning for large party and need some type of fingers food.“
“We stumbled on this place while we were looking for a laundromat. I had no idea this hidden treasure was right here! This is a little Brazilian convenience store with assorted sweet and savory pastries. We tried a few different savory pastries (I wish I could remember the name of everything), but everything was SO delicious! What a treat! Plus, the girls behind the counter were super sweet and helpful to explain everything to us.“
“Very Yummy ! I got the fish moqueca which is one of the pricier dishes but it was huge ! It came out bubbling in a big pot with rice and cassava on the side. I was able to eat that night and then eat leftovers twice after that and the flavor got better every time. I also got a caipirinha which was also pricey but worth it ! It was so strong I started feeling it after a few sips. The music was a little loud but good. Nice atmosphere overall.“
“Absolutely loved my experience at Alex's Kitchen. It's a neighborhood Brazilian market with a buffet! The food was delicious and had a comforting, homey touch that's hard to find. Everything I tried tasted fresh and warm, and the staff were friendly, adding to the familial atmosphere. This time I ate before my camera, therefore I'll have to update my review with pictures later. However, I liked the ribs, the beef and potatoes, as well as the rice, beans and sweet plantains. Similar to other Brazilian restaurants, they charge per pound. Be careful not to over fill your container! I've been guilty of doing it before. The prices were reasonable for the quality and variety offered. They had a good selection that catered to different tastes and preferences. It's also super convenient for days when you need to grab a quick meal and you want something more wholesome than fast-food. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I'll definitely come back. Obrigado!“
