“On a business trip in the Concord area and checked out 80 Thoreau. One thing to note is that this place is tricky to find. It looks like it doesn't exist when you get there but it's right next to the eye glass store. It's on the second floor so you need to take a hallway with stairs which is why it was hard to find. Once I did eventually find it, the overall experience was great. This is more of a fine dining restaurant so the prices are expensive, however, the food was amazing. They have a limited menu so it makes it easy to choose and everything was very very fresh. On top of the food, the service was great! The bartender was very very friendly and our waiter was attentive and gave great recommendations! Would recommend trying this place out if you are in the concord area“

Well I'm writing to tell you, OMG, Bullfinch's makes a delicious classic Irish dinner, served with a very nice side Dijon cream and the best bread rolls ever !!! “We live in Natick and love Buttercup. That's why we were disappointed with our most recent experience. We stopped by on our way home to have a drink at the bar. There was one or two open seats so we figured one of us would sit and eventually another seat would open up. Only we were stopped by the hostess who told us other people (standing near the host station) had been waiting for bar seats. We were confused because we didn't realize that you couldn't just stand near the bar and have a drink (since we had done this in the past) and also we didn't know that you could even reserve seats at the bar. A couple weeks later we were walking by again and saw that there were many open seats at the bar but my boyfriend and I looked at each other and said, let's skip it. We are still just not feeling great about our last experience.“

“Interesting place. Was a speakeasy in the 1920s. It's an older house chopped up into little dining areas. The duck confit was delicious. I had the pan seared cod, also fresh and very tasty. “Unexpectedly very good! Dropped a teenage grandchild off at school on a Sunday before the h.s. spring musical and drove off to downtown Waltham to look for a quick lunch. Parked in a nearly empty town parking lot (2 hrs for $2., a real bargain to us New Yorkers). Walked to Moody St., as usual no reservations, just yelp and hope. The first place we came to on the corner was BTT, looked like some decent vegetarian possibilities on the menu, so we went in. Took a couple of minutes but they did find seats for us (& it didn't fill up in the nearly an hour we were there, so not sure why they consulted over their reservations, but whatever). I ordered the avocado toast and added the 2 sunnyside up eggs option, thinking just avo toast wouldn't fill me, but I even told Niko, our server, that it was probably the best or definitely one of the best avocado toast dishes I've ever had (& it's a favorite of mine so I've had a few!). Two thick slices of a good rustic bread, chunky mashed avocado, greens, and then those perfect eggs - sooo delicious! The decaf coffees were fresh and good. Hubs had their black bean burger with fries and said it was really very good. There's an extensive beer menu, the place is pretty big, it's a college town, and we're guessing it's hopping in the evening, especially on weekends. Can't speak to that, but can say we had an amazing lunch!“
