“We really enjoyed our food here! We came during the busy season in August, but that was no issue. We made reservations well in advance. The food was good, fresh. They also had gluten free cake, which was fantastic. I also appreciated they had multiple gluten free desserts and they also had all gluten free options labels throughout the menu. I definitely recommend trying this place out!”
“My partner and I keep coming here when vacationing, even though we've never used the airport. The food is great, it's prepared pretty quickly, and the grilled chicken in their salads is impossibly soft and delicious!!Parking: Free parking for first 3 hours! We've never had issues finding a spot.”
“We were there off session, in late March, which I'm sure the speed and service efficiency is different from summer months. The Fall veggie melt on facoccia bread, the turkey bacon wrap, the pastrami sandwich, the vegetarian chili, and he onion soup were delicious. The chocolate chip, peanut butter, and the sugar cookies were delicious, too.The service was quick and efficient. You can place your order ahead of time on the phone and avoid waiting in line.Vegetarian options: YesParking: Limited spaces.”
“This is next to a great grocery market in the area (small "town") - bought a few years back (it's the old Fella's in West Tisbury) ; nestled in between the only grocery open year round close to up-island and next to the post office, also the only one in area that services this small town of mostly farm land. It was discovery of a coworker who was ranting about their bfast sandwiches- YEA - they are pretty spectacularly tasty!! I have had 4 items from this menu and today... I tried the pizza- I ATE THE CRUST - soft enough with a slight crunch - perfect dough, sauce was seasoned and is homemade- excellent. Best lil' spot to catch a quick bite. They are a slice app customer!!! Excellent!”
“I wish I could give this restaurant 6 starts! My bf and I went to cape cod for a week long work trip and we’re not able to find many good restaurants to eat at - that is until we found this one. The entire experience was PHENOMENAL. The host was so kind and sat us for our res early. Our server Taylor L was so kind, knowledgeable, cheerful and positive. So helpful and on top of everything. The food was all delicious and so fresh! Will be back again next time we’re on the cape!!”
“Never a bad time at the Sweet Life Cafe. Super cozy in the winter with live jazz on Thursdays, homey atmosphere, plus fantastic food and drinks. Haven’t actually been in the summer yet but can’t wait!”
“Great year round place! Love their beyond burger. The size of the meals is good too, definitely worth the price. A couple vegan/vegetarian options (impossible burger, bang bang cauliflower etc)”
“We really enjoy visiting Offshore Ale Company when we are on the Vineyard. We love its warm, casual and inviting atmosphere. The vegan options aren’t extensive, but there are enough. This time we had a great pizza which they veganized by leaving off the cheese. This is one of our favorite places.”
“such a great spot for a quick bite to pick up & go! I usually get a burrito bowl and everytime the ingredients are fresh & the serving size is incredibly generous, most times im able to save half for later which helps when you're on a budget! Also the staff are awesome!! never disappoints!”
“First time that I dined there was this past weekend and I wasn’t disappointed. Service A+, atmosphere A+, meal……A++. My wife and I brought friends from out of town to Salvatore’s for dinner. Wow! On level with some of the best Italian restaurants we’ve ever been to. Outside “Garden” dinning was a pleasant surprise. Our server was very attentive but not too intrusive. The Classic Cocktails were on point. Pasta was definitely made in house and among the finest I’ve ever tasted. I enjoyed a “special” with mounds of fresh seafood over pasta. It’s worth a trip to this gem in VH no matter where you travel from. You won’t be disappointed.”
“Our family's go-to spot for a quick, filling meal. Winston's has great value (huge portions), great variety (always interesting rotating specials) and great service (consistently friendly). They have accommodated us with large breakfast sandwich orders, and they've made our day with fresh baked goods. They are efficient in the kitchen and have our order turned around quickly consistently, and their wide menu caters to large groups who have different tastes. A must-try and an unbeatable location too.”
“Yummmmmmmmm..... having yummy, creamy ice-cream is a must when visiting Martha's Vineyard. This little place was perfect and it hit the spot. The servers behind the counter were so friendly. We will definitely be back! Enjoy! ~Nini”
“Lovely staff, they have decaf espresso and hence decaf lattes, and the breakfast sandwich was to die for. Cute little shop, very busy but quick service. Visited multiple times on my week-long trip to Wood's Hole, highly recommend”
“As a strict creature of habit, it took me a while to start visiting the “new place in vineyard haven” but I am very glad I did. I usually don’t write reviews, but Catboat Coffee is an amazing place to stop in VH. The location is super convenient and parking is never an issue. The staff is always kind, even with strange requests or questions. I have never eaten Lebanese food, thus it has taken me a long time to branch out and ask about new foods and then try them. Catboats staff always has given me good recommendations when I ask. I have now eaten nearly everything on the menu, and I cannot complain about anything. The food is delicious, healthy, and filling portions. For the quality and quantity, the prices are amazing. Their packaging is eco friendly and they give a discount if you bring your own cup, which is very appealing to me. Eco-conscious businesses deserve more light. I have tried things I never thought I would and haven’t regretted a second of it. The staff and hospitality is the nicest part of this establishment by far. I work nights and often come in the morning/midafternoon very tired and they’re always patient and kind with me when I’m a little slower than the morning rush. Catboat has an atmosphere where you feel like you’re with friends or family. The coffee is amazing and their specialty drinks are not only creative but delicious. To top it all off, you can accumulate points rewards which is always a plus. This place is amazing and a great addition to the Tisbury marketplace. Cannot wait to see what winter and next summer bring.”
“The best! Celebrated my birthday here. Got a late dinner reservation and had cocktails and a bunch of appetizers with my sis and cousin. Crab rolls to due for! Charred cabbage a must. Lamb meatballs yummy! Street corn, house fries, shrimp! On the nearby table someone ordered the bouillabaisse which looked spectacular. Will have the next time I'm there for sure. A must visit in MV.”
“Adorable shop! Got an amazing latte, ham & cheese croissant and an almond popover to enjoy the next day. All outstanding. The popover was to die for!! Stopped on our way to the ferry and will stop again on our way off the island.”
“Charming, wonderful variety, cozy shop open every day to pay by cash or venmo. This is a woman-owned Wampanoag business using traditional and modern recipe inspirations. Pizza on Thursday and Friday April-November with byob and toppings, dough sauce cheese provided. The nicest owner who welcomed us with her friendly personality. A treasure!”
“I went in there last night with my daughter and grand daughter not expecting to order anything until I saw this amazing looking coffee and Oreo ice cream. It was a delicious as it looked. The owner, Elio, came in and we chatted about the shop and he handed me a loaf of olive bread by Madison Villatte, which was perfect. Excellent place with lovely owner.”
“I remember when the little house was a quaint little antique store… and then it became a great neighborhood place to get breakfast and lunch! It is still a quaint little house and the food is very good and the coffee and teas are perfect… the new owner is keeping with the high standards of good friendly service and even better new food!”
“This is a standard brewpub with several tv screens all around to watch the ongoing matches (including golf). We went on a Friday night in mid-April (early in the tourist season) and were pleasantly surprised to not only see this place open but almost packed! For reference, most restaurants on the island and in oak bluffs are closed at that time. Surprisingly, there was no music or sports commentary being played inside the tavern. Despite that the place was buzzing with chatter and didn't feel quiet/boring at all. The staff, including the host and our server were friendly and warm. The server offered to get beer tasters when I was pondering over my choice of beer. I'll give a thumbs up to both the IPA and the brick red beer on tap. To eat, we opted for the beer battered fish & chips and the fish sandwich. Portion size is on the larger side and taste wise, the food is decent. They are quite generous with the sauces & dips. The location of this tavern is fantastic; it overlooks the East Chop Lighthouse and beach and is a couple minutes away from both the oak bluffs ferry station and the oak bluffs bus stop.”
“I had just came from a New York food trip, and I wasn’t ready for a mediocre lunch experience, an all too common phenomenon on this island. I asked Rachel (up front) and the chef to choose a sandwich for me and the smoky beet sandwich was my surprise. The balanced and bold flavors are on palette par with my favorite spots around the globe. Perfectly fresh baguette, beautifully pickled onion, just enough jalapeños dancing with an abundance of bright cilantro, and whatever secret umami goodness rounds out this perfection. Thank goodness for this sumptuous staple on island. I am stupendously satiated.Vegetarian options: I’m not a vegetarian but appreciate an elevated vegetarian experience. TH delivered!”
“So Laura and I stopped here last night after missing our ferry off the great island of Martha's Vineyard. It was a pleasant surprise as we both ordered a Caesar's Salad wrap with grilled chicken. Simply put it was the best Caesar's salad wrap I've ever had. We ordered the same exact wrap and they were very hearty wraps either a good proportion of lettuce and chicken. Lots of tasty grilled chicken and expertly wrapped. No spillage and quite satisfying. They have an adjacent bakery where they sell all kinds tasty looking sweets and also ice cream. Laura picked up a fresh French bread for our brunch today. Based on our impromptu visit last night I would recommend this great cafe. Salud!”
“Decent coffee house. Barista had a strange personality. People and service make up for a good portion of an opinionThe lattes were good and prices were reasonable for the island.Good place to get a warm beverage in an area with limited options.”
“I was in Martha’s Vineyard for a meeting and I stopped here with a colleague. Let me just say, the food and service are both top tier. The woman at the window was very kind and accommodating. The food was some of the best Caribbean food I’ve had in a long time. Every bite was filled with flavor and you could tell it was made with love.”
“I’ve always loved The Attic for its great food, incredible wings, and charming atmosphere. Tonight, though, I was about to enter uncharted waters - never in my life, have I liked red beets and tonight, something on the menu made me want to order them. My wonderful server, Mavi, literally held my hand through the experience. The beeets were amazing, especially the golden ones, and such a creative dish. I highly recommend The Attic for an all-around fantastic experience.”
“Breakfast burritos, avocado toast and huge tasty sandwiches are the reasons I return to Waterside Market. Ordering on the App speeds things up and is the way to prevent a long wait. This place is very popular!”
““Definitely a must-visit spot! The self-serve option allows you to customize your treat with as many toppings as your heart desires, making it a delightful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive ambiance. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a refreshing way to cool off on a hot day. The variety of toppings and the welcoming atmosphere make it an excellent choice for a sweet escape!””
“Whew. Love LOVE this pie. Have stopped buying them one at a time because of the speed at which they disappear. The other baked goods are excellent. But you must try the pie. Probably top three crusts of my life and I am from the south. We also stop by before heading back to the ferry and take a few off island and they freeze well extending the joy for months to come. Treat yourself!”
“Great selection very cordial young staff lots of flavours of ice cream. Outside benches night time is fun you can sit outside and just have a good time I am sure we will be back”
“LOVED this place!! Food was fresh and original, awesome service and a beautiful property. Had a baked cod dish that was out of this world, and a beet salad with stuff that must have been picked that day. Reasonable and eclectic wine list, and great ambiance. Definitely put this place on your list in MV!”
