“The Westporter is a cozy little spot in the heart of Westport. With it being winter time, the ambiance is set with a fireplace and soft lighting. Danielle was an amazing bartender and absolutely on point at all times. I did not get a chance to try any food this time, but having attended their catering events in the past, I would imagine that their restaurant food would be just as outstanding as I remember their catering menu to be.“

“Food is absolutely amazing!!! Mash potatoes are flavorful. Chicken and steak cooked to perfection!! Front of the house very slow :/ I'm we got our appetizer before our drinks! We got our side salad with our meal.. ( didn't know what to eat first). Our wait wasn't long, which was very nice. Location is perfect :)“

“I have probably had everything on the menu and also on the specials board and everything has always been spot on me and my wife are there every Saturday and Sunday morning Tara and Cory are great people and also Dee and Brittany I highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed“

“Service was a little slow & We had about 20 minutes of waiting time despite making a reservation. However the food came out fairly well quickly once our waitress got to us & we made our order. The complimentary cornbread was good - not amazing but good! We got the bbq festa with the half roasted chicken since they ran out of brisket. The ribs, pulled pork and chicken were all very good. The brussel sprouts and sweet potato fries had good flavor but we're a little soggy. Perhaps less oil or high cook temperature to get them crispier? Would come back! But maybe earlier so I can try the brisket before they run out.“

“This is one of the last dinners but is by far the best one in new bedford. If your out of state this is the place to go in the morning for food. The place is great the food is on point and for a cheap price that you can't beat in the area. For the price and how good the food taste you will say the same.“

“I have been eating here since I was a kid that lived a couple of blocks down. I always get the steak with fries, rice, and an egg and it’s delicious every time. The staff here are always sweet and treat the customers well. It’s an awesome place to be and I treasure it every time!“

“Best Fish & Chips in the area. The Buffalo shrimp pasta is outstanding. The ordering is a little strange. The bar is separate from the restaurant so you order your drinks from one person and food from another. It's not fancy but the food is outstanding and a good price.“

“READ ME!! I recently just had the wonderful pleasure of dining at Joe's Original Kitchen and I must say,.. the Seared Blackened Swordfish and Jambalaya dish exceeded my expectations. The swordfish was cooked to perfection with a flavorful blackened crust that added a delightful smoky touch. The jambalaya was a true taste of New Orleans, with a harmonious blend of spices you could differentiate, comes w/ tender shrimp, and savory sausage. Ohhh my gwwaad! The portions were generous, and the presentation was visually appealing. Everything matched well. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend trying the seared blackened swordfish and jambalaya dish at Joe's. Idk what it is about this spot but they have an entire staff that cares from the second you walk through the doors, let's be honest that my friends is very Very rare nowadays. “This is the kind of New England small town restaurant you read about in Yankee magazine. Breakfast is a full house and a mouthful, with huge, full plate sized pancakes. Plenty of elbow room in wide booths that look out onto the town common and its historic white steepled Congregational church. A few stools at the counter point you toward the kitchen. Outdoor deck dining under large umbrellas on nice summer days. For lunch or dinner, try the "dry" style fish & chips. Dredged in corn flour, your fish comes out golden crispy and light, not heavy and greasy like most places. Wash it down with one of their huge glasses of iced tea and finish off with American pie. Next door is Wilbur's, a classic New England general store that sells everything, including takeout food. Thrift Shop across the corner sells castaways from Little Compton closets and is worth a look for cool finds.“

“This place is delicious. I have celiac so coming to this place felt like Christmas! I haven't been able to eat "normal" food for ages so being able to order fish and chips, even fried pickles, and have it all be gluten free and delicious was amazing! (It's not a 100% gf restaurant but the majority of the menu is or can be) I was glad to discover it's a chain and there are more locations around! Can't wait to eat at more of them.Dietary restrictions: Nearly the entire menu is or can be gluten free. Even the fried things!!“
