“Came to BE's for some wings with a colleague . This is everything a Boston pub should be : no frills , TVs , casual abs great eats. We ordered wings n fires and they were amazing . Crispy fries and flavorful wings ! Service is very Boooooston as expected .“
“Best Irish pub in Somerville! The atmosphere and decor are spot-on, food is delicious and servings plentiful, and the staff is attentive and personable. No designated parking but street parking is usually available. Just across from the Sullivan Square T station.“
“Stopped by for a drink and some darts this afternoon while wandering around Boston. Fantastic, friendly spot. The bartender even gave my girlfriend her last mozza stick as we were leaving. Does it get more friendly than that? Fully recommend for anyone looking for a chill spot to drink nice beer and relax. Thanks!“
“A great time at cheers! ?Where no one unfortunately knows your name. ? Because it's mainly tourists that patron this place according to the host. And theres only a couple of regulars since it's a known stopping point to visit for Cheers fans such as us.My spouse has wanted to come here for 40 years and has had this on his to-do bucket list. I can happily say we now have completed this great experience after all these years. It was very fitting for us as this was our first time ever visiting Boston. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts. We had such a great time here, and though the Cheers clan wasn't here, the management has a great team of local staff working here. They didn't mind taking pictures of us and were very friendly to chat with. Such great vibes, cool Cheers memorabilia, nice beer, and the chicken panini with fries were very satisfying. This is a must-see on a visit to the beautiful city of Boston.“
“The menu features classic Irish dishes alongside American pub favorites, all expertly prepared and served with a smile. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming ambiance, making every visit feel like a gathering among friends. Highly recommend!“
“Visiting from overseas and found this cracking neighbourhood pub. Service very efficient and friendly. Food was also really good - the special fries were delicious - and a great pint of guinness. Brilliant atmosphere to cap it all off. Well done guys.“
“Late night. Week night. No Irish pub around the corner. No worries, you got Cornwall's. Service was excellent. Slight change in making the Reuben into a Rachel and still a fantastic sandwich was to be had. Only sour note was the side pickles might want to be more firmer and pickled. The unflavored everyday ordered Ice tea even had a nice kick to it. Price point was point on. So, Irish or not, do a visit.“
“This is the go to spot when my coworkers and I get out of work. Staff is very friendly and makes you feel like family. They'll always call you by name. Susan and John are very personable bartenders. When serving someone new, John will always say "My name's John, let me know if you need something". Food wise, I've only gotten the wings, and they're pretty good, perfectly crispy. My coworker raves about their taco salad. Overall, a great place to let loose and enjoy yourself after work.Kid-friendliness: Kids are definitely welcome, but it is a more adult oriented environment. There is a corner dining section away from the bar, which is more appropriate for children when it comes to seating.“
“Came here with my girlfriend for a quick mid-week dinner and left feeling satisfied and impressed! The eatery is small, and has a dark-cottage like feel. We sat ourselves and were served promptly. I ordered the chicken quesadilla, which was very juicy and jam-packed with minced pieces of fajita vegetables. It was delicious and cheesy. Every ingredient was very fresh and of good quality. It came with a side of cheesy refried beans, which were incredible! They were so good I'd honestly order them on their own. Wow! My girlfriend reported that her Bahn Mi sandwich was good, but a little on the hotter side. If you're a spice lover like me, though, that is a perk! Overall, we had a great dinner at Shay's and will definitely be back!“
“My boyfriend and I just went here and split a few sushi rolls and the chicken Kara age. All of the food was really delicious, might be the best kara age I’ve ever had, and their lunch menu pricing is really reasonable. Our waitress was really nice and all the food came out quickly.“
“The Fed at The Langham, Boston offers a nice atmosphere, good food, and reasonably good service. Our orders were made as requested and served in a timely manner.Full Review:Located at The Langham, Boston, The Fed offers a delightful dining experience with its nice atmosphere, good food, and reasonably good service. The restaurant lives up to its description as a British-inspired cocktail bar with a sophisticated New England twist. On our visit, we found the surrounding environment to be pleasant, reflecting the quality settings that The Langham is known for. The Fed, much like the hotel's Grana, provides an inviting atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience. We sampled a variety of dishes, including the lobster roll, burger, and steak frites, all of which were delicious and well-prepared. Our orders were made as requested and served in due time, showcasing the kitchen's quality and attention to detail. While we did encounter a minor issue with the hostess, the situation was quickly addressed and rectified by the management. The quality customer service we received in resolving this matter was commendable, and we appreciated the professionalism displayed by the staff.Overall, our experience at The Fed was enjoyable, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality dining experience in Boston. The combination of a nice atmosphere, good food, and reasonable service makes The Fed a worthy dining destination. 4/5.“
“My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this pub for dinner on a Saturday night. Despite the busy evening, we were seated promptly. The atmosphere was just right - not too noisy, allowing us to have a peaceful conversation. The pub has a decent amount of seating, considering its size. The staff were friendly, laid back, and added to the relaxed vibe of the place. Overall, it was a no-fuss, enjoyable dining experience. We’d definitely recommend to anyone coming to the area.“
“Stopped in for the first time and really enjoyed it. Small bar with great music, decent food and great atmosphere. We had the stuffed tater tots which were delicious. The wings were also good but very cold. Great beer selection also. Will definitely be back!!“
“Last Friday was my first time at saloon and I am already planning to come back. I was in awe of the busy atmosphere, the music was good, the drinks were good and the Caviar French onion dip was delish! Our server was great, I forget their name but they gave wonderful recommendations and were very kind!“
“great place to stop by, had a layover from europe and needed to skip through a few hours before the next flight to where i was headed. Ciro and the guys at this place are personable and v friendly, the type of atmosphere you can’t really find anymore nowadays. definitely recommend to anyone, especially if you have a few hours to spare and can make the short trip out the airport. i only had a burger but the other dishes other people ordered were proper portions, looked delicious and all at a great price. also guiness pints are under 8$, try double at the airport. definitely worth the free bus and the 10 min walk out“
“Atmosphere is perfect, great taps and the absolutely one of the best Rubens I've ever had! Gotta get the sweet potato fries with it, service is awesome! This spot is a great industry gather place for late bites or a local hangout to watch a game!“
“Fish and chips were so delicious, the fish was tender and flaky with a light batter, clam chowder was creamy and full of clams seasoning was light but complimented the chowder, lobster Mac and cheese was creamy and full of yummy tasting lobster, the hot lobster roll was light on garlic, so much lobster is should almost be illegal ?.“
“Amazing food and great atmosphere. I think the Reuben was the best I've ever had, and my sister in law said the same for her lobster roll. My husband steak tips were also great, and the fried pickles were nice and crispy without being overly breaded like some places. I'd definitely come here again if I was in the area.“
“We enjoy this restaurant tremendously-staff, selection of food and the ambiance are all exceptional. We were sad to discover that they have cut down their hours and are so short staffed that their 2 bartenders are tripleling as Bartenders. waiters and greeters. They are doing an astonishingly good job fulfilling all these demands. Apparently they are also shortstaffed in the kitchen since at present are only offering a quite limited menu of appetizers. It appears they will likely be squeezed out of their spot. For many of us this is quite a loss, I am sure we are not tge only ones that consider this restaurant the top brew bar in the Encore“
“We found this place and the reviews were great and did they live up the their reviews! Drinks, service and the food was fabulous. My boyfriend got the fried chicken sandwich and he was so impressed with the quality of of the chicken & I got the drunken tips. The BBQ sauce was delish and the veggies were fresh!“
“Stopped here for a drink (Irish Coffee) and Spinach Artichoke app. Food was on the pricey side (~$46 without tips for 2 drinks and the app), but service and the decor were very nice! The app was tasty, and the Irish coffee was okay (not the best I've had)“
“We were deciding what to eat for our anniversary dinner. One kid wants sushi, another wanted ramen or chicken katsu, wife wanted sashimi and I wanted Yakitori. We landed on Omori Izakaya.Parking was easy right on the same street and plenty of spots available at dinner time on a Saturday. We got there earlier than our reservation. We were seated immediately with maybe few more tables open. We order some Yakitori and appetizers to start. The pork belly, chicken gizzards and chicken hearts were extremely flavorful. The chicken skin was crunchy perfection. The octopus was grilled to perfection with a little of mixed spices on top. Hotate Kaiyaki came out on a little warmer with a little flame and very cool presentation. Tako Yaki was good as well. For main courses we order chicken katsu dinner and dragon roll and caterpillar and sashimi combo. The kids love the chicken katsu. They also loved the maki rolls. Sashimi also fresh.Overall we had a great time. The food were very good. The stars were the Yakitori skewers.Parking: Plenty of meter parking on the same street as the restaurant.“
“So, I apparently wrote a review about this place 10 years ago, I cant believe its been that long! Anyways, we went last night and everything was delicious! Steak tips are fantastic, and the sausage was great! Love the steak fries and very friendly staff. This place was extremely busy and the staff was spot on! Can;t wait to go again! Portions are very large and the prices are great!“
“The burger was good, it wasn't great. The service was really slow and I think that is part of the lack of ability to hire people right now, not necessarily a reflection of the restaurant. Nice place to go before a show, not crazy expensive for the theater district.“
“A bar as comfortable as a well worn pair of shoes. A chill vibe and excellent food!Oysters were plump and fresh, their Asian prep is great: yuzu soy, ginger and wasabi. Very tasty! Their house cocktail sauce is good too.The Smoked Seafood.Chowder was a surprising standout! Chock full of smoked fish and in a "not too rich" cream base, this isn't an overly thickened chowder and one of the best chowder I've had.Lobster Roll is very good and well priced. Not too overly dressed and LOTS of minced lobster, topped off with a strip of bacon. Seems to be a P-Town thing, bacon on a Lobstah Roll. I'm not mad at it at all! Good sweet potato fries, the harissa sauce can use more harissa. The CURRY FRIES are legit!Good beer and whisky selection.“
“We finally returned to The Snug since before COVID restrictions. We loved the Irish music and oldies bands. We arrived before the music this evening and were lucky to be seated immediately. It is usually crowded and noisy. Our server was personable and got our drinks and food quickly. The Snug is, as the name suggests, a snug Irish pub filled with Irish memorabilia. The Smithwicks had a plump foamy head and is lighter than Guinness. My SO's sangria had a hint of peach schnapps flavor. The Greek salad was more than enough for two. The fried haddock sandwich was so big I thought it was the fish dinner. The fish was flaky with a crunchy exterior and the roll was soft and delicious. I had it served with vegetables; the carrots and green beans were tasty but the broccoli was cold. The appetizing chicken salad sandwich was a bit different; shredded chicken and craisins were on a hot dog bun and the mayo was on the side. We will return to The Snug soon to enjoy the music, food and drinks.“
“Absolutely great spot in Downtown Quincy! Pictured is the pork shank, but everything we had was delicious. The prices are also an amazing value as we each had an entree, two drinks, dessert and the bill was only $84! Will definitely be back!!“
“Definitely on the fence for 5 v. 4 stars. It a great space with lots of interesting decor, and the upper floor has a great vibe ...get up there if possible. Service was good; expected for a slow evening. Vibe is nice...not too much TV or music pervading, yet not lacking in some liveliness either...nice touch. Host was great and re-seated to better spot (chairs not stools) was easy. The standard menu (no specials that night) had scallops which were super! Cooked perfectly with the broc rabe also perfect on the side. The risotto, possibly from another school of risotto-thought, was not so. Just OK and seeming under cooked a bit and underwhelming... some umami or like influence would be good/needed. Duck dish was nice...but, they asked if medium rare is OK which it is! and should be. It was a precut set portion of tiny fillets which is great ( tho Im a fan of on the bone or "whole" fillet). What came up was nearly raw in the middle...yes, I definitely could have sent it back, but i"m lazy I guess and wanted to start eating together. Note to chef: a thin/medium size line of pink is good but a big old bunch is not. Note I eat rare /medium rare everything including lamb and port, but this was 'too much'...again my fault for not sending back, but.... Asparagus side was done very well...not under/over cooked. I'll be back!“
“Best Hostel/Hotel I've ever rested at. The location is a rock throw to famous Charleston Bunker Hill Monument and the heart of BOSTON and the Encore Casino. Covientstores under 5min and one directly across the street, Verity of Food places also that deliver.“
“Visiting from out of town. Out of many great places we chose here. The food was good. Our server was the bartender, and she was horrible. I had to get up for a refill of my drink. My husband's food wasn't correct. She never checked in on us until we were done. She was just plain rude.“
“We found this Charming Tavern on our Travels through Quincy. The Staff was Friendly and Welcoming. We ordered Drinks and a couple of appetizers Buffalo Chicken loaded Nachos and loaded Tater Tots ? with Smoked Bacon ? everything was Delicious ? and the Drinks were Ice Cold ???.For Entrees: a couple of Burgers? with fries ? and a Reuben Sandwich with fries ? which were very Tasty ?.Great Place to watch Sports Games with a Cold Drink and Delicious Food ?.The Service was Excellent ?I Highly Recommend!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Fantastic atmosphere & Service. Food was delicious, freshly cooked. Definitely try this bar out as you won't be disappointed. Went in as strangers, left as friends. Looking forward to our next visit when we are back. Thank you John, Bar Staff, waiting Staff, chef & the lovely Barney for a wonderful experience ?.Paula & Jack ??“
“This is a no frill local spot with good apps (try the various eggrolls), decent prices, a good beer selection, touchtunes juke box, and pub trivia. There is also parking in a lot next door behind 7/11. It's a local institution that is consistent and doesn't disappoint.“
“We are dinner here. Deviled egg appetizer and pretzel app. Both were very tasty. My husband ordered Big Mac tacos and it was plenty of food for him. He liked them. Descent portion sizes. My daughter enjoyed her grilled cheese. I ordered sliders that came with fries and tiny milk shake. (Which my child said was delicious) I got a sip it was good.5 people with dinner drinks and apps for $160It's a good deal I think. No pictures we were too hungry.“
“Jo's is a landmark in Hull. It's a wonderful place, very relaxed and friendly. The drinks are always generous, and the bartenders are friendly. I love looking at all of the historical nautical decor. Really, the feeling that Jo's elicits is like no other. There's a deck where you can enjoy your drink during nice weather. (Fetch your drinks yourself.) They only have chips, but you can order takeout from a variety of menus. Sometimes they have live music; those nights are very fun. On Sundays they have extraordinary Bloody Mary's.“
“Paddy Barry's Quincy is truly a remarkable pub, earning a solid 9 out of 10 rating. Stepping inside feels like being transported back to the lively atmosphere of a pub in Cork City, right by the quay. The energy is infectious, with the sounds of laughter and conversation filling the air. You'll also have the pleasure of encountering craters with incredible stories to share, making every visit an adventure. And let's not forget the talented musician who always graces the pub with their guitar skills, taking the ambiance to new heights. We are incredibly fortunate to have a pub of this caliber in Boston and the surrounding area. And when it comes to the perfect pint, Paddy Barry's Quincy undoubtedly delivers the best in the South Shore“
“Pelican is a Very Welcoming Place Karaoke ? On Friday nights Live Bands on Saturdays and Sundays AWESOME BARTENERS Specially Kari-Ann she's the best an there EVERY wknd make sure you TIP her WELL, the People down there a also Friendly . . . . .“
“Wonderful staff, very welcoming. The food was delicious. We had the chicken buffalo ragoons, freshly made onion rings and Quahogs. Emily was a delight, so friendly. The musicians was very talented and music was not too loud. Definitely worth a visit.“
“Walked here before a concert. We grabbed a high top and stole chairs from other people's tables they weren't using. We were trying to order food on the app when the bartender came over. She was super nice, asked if we needed drinks. Gave some recommendations. We started with tatchos, a Vermont cider and a Long Island. We also ordered burgers. I did not expect the food to be as good as it was. The burger was really greasy but honestly I haven't had a burger like that in so long-it was welcomed. Everything was so damn good. If we didn't live 2 hours away it would easily have been a regular visit.“
“I've stayed at the nearby resort for two years in a row now for an annual convention in Boston, and both years ordered pizza and snacks from here. It's rapidly becoming a tradition! I get a white pizza with spinach, onion, feta, and black olives - and it's absolutely delicious! The fried dough is also some of the best I've had - not too crunchy but not too soft either. I look forward to ordering again next year!“
“This restaurant is a part of the group that brought you Russell House Tavern and Hourly Oyster. I think it may be the best of the three! We had the chicken wings, beet salad, and slow-roasted half chicken and it was mind blowing. The service was excellent and attentive even on a very busy Saturday night. The beet salad was a standout and the flavor of the slow-roasted chicken was insane. A strong recommend!“
“Bartender on Mondays is amazing. 10/10 hot red head with a little bit of cinnamon spice. Almost thought I was at hooters when I walked in. and that man working the bar on Monday days? Think I've seen him on my tik tok for you page before, pretty sure he's an influencer. 10/10 establishment. Recommend to everyone.“
“No food here. We went to check it out for a pats game and the nice bartender said they don't serve food anymore. It's a legit straight up bar with probably 5 locals so that's that. 5 stars cause the bartender recommended a great pub that served food. Boston!“
“Local dive - inexpensive drinks with mixed crowds. Your experience can certainly vary from night to night - service is as expected, locals will get a bit more attention than you, so be patient!Good place for cheap drinks and to watch the game“
“I mean... it's a DIVE dive bar. I personally enjoy dive bars so i loved it. Top shelf drinks are 6-7 dollars and they make them STRONG. Most people were 50 and up. Getting to the place Can be... different. If the front door is locked you have to go through the back and ring a doorbell haha it has Pool and darts and you don't have to pay for either. Also has poker games on Sunday and Wednesday“
“While Cronins can be characterized as a "dive bar", it is a great place to grab some very good food for a very reasonable price! This last visit we had an order of chicken wings and stuffed clams for appetizers and then shared a bar pizza. All were very well done. In the past we have had the steak tips, shepherds pie as well as other specials.“
“I come here for the great food - pizza, wings (finished on the grill) and steak tips are among my favorites and can't be beat. The prices are great for the location and the quality of food is superb. It's a fun laid back neighborhood sports bar anyone can relate too. I want to thank the owner Mike and the cook Bobby for always delivering.“
“The staff is super friendly, the bar/booths are comfortable, and it's fun to visit. They also have a good rotating beer selection. Would like to see more menu items and the return of tater tots as a side option. Would also like to see The Substance from Bissell Bros make an appearance.“
“Great staff, cheap beer, close to transit, open late. what else could you want? There are two sections of the bar, the main room you enter into which is usually loud and a back room which is a little quieter. Decent amount of seating at bars and tables. They have a few arcade games, an N64, and darts.Wheelchair accessibility: Someone with a wheelchair will be able to enter the main bar area. Difficult to access back room and bathrooms due to step/stairs. Most tables are high tops so they would be awkward to sit at with a chair.“
“The viking pub is a great spot to have a dinner and drinks with friends. The service is amazing, and everyone is very welcoming. The food made by bob was very good. All of the games and fun music makes the experience that much better. I recommend anyone to come down to have a fun time.“
