“I came here with some family the night before Thanksgiving to find the establishment empty at 6 pm but we had still made reservations in advanced as they are often busy. It appears as a small whole in the wall so I would highly suggest reservations if possible otherwise you would have a wonderful view to admire at the beach while you wait. For starters, we had their fluffy and plush white bread dipped in olive oil and garlic paste. Each of our entrees came with a starter salad topped with what appeared to be their Italian dressing. We also split their shrimp scampi appetizer with garlic bread. Conveniently enough, it came with 4 pieces of shrimp as well as bread, perfect for our party of 4. As a scampi lover, I was in my glory with the aromatic sauce on the crisp bread. Entrees included frutti da mare, eggplant special with their homemade fusili pasta, mushroom and cream ravioli and a side meatball. Everyone was very happy with their choices! The eggplant special was an eggplant parm but could have been fried a bite longer to retain a more substanial crust. The raviolis were limited but served with a rich mushroom sauce. I love, love, love the meatball though! It was soft, juicy, and flavorful. Dessert was a slice of limoncello cake with their fresh made whip cream. Although I am not a fan of citrus dessert, I kept coming back for more with this since it was still light and sweet. Overall, we had a great experience. Service was kind and consistent. Food was delicious and justified by the view and their prices. Parking can be difficult if on an especially busy day since it is strictly street parking. I would definitely come again and recommend others to too and BOYB since they do not serve alcohol!“

“Hidden in the residential area is the best lobster roll I have ever eaten! The weather was nice last weekend, so this lobster lover finally came to check out the lobster roll at this seafood shop. Lobster sandwich: It is obviously just ordinary bread, but it is fried until fragrant and then filled with thick fresh lobster meat. It only needs simple seasoning - a little mayonnaise, salt, black pepper and green onions to highlight the freshness and sweetness of the lobster. The bread is fried in butter but not greasy, and the cold lobster meat tastes fresh and chewy, not fishy at all, and basically uses the meat from the lobster body, unlike the lobsterroll in many restaurants that is cooked with tongs. It tasted so delicious, so I asked specifically, thinking that some magical sauce was added to the seasoning, but I didn't expect it to be that simple. wonderful! (The price is slightly more expensive now, $35 each.)After finishing one, I bought a second one and continued eating it in the evening.From now on, I will eat here probably once a week, it is very good! !I went and bought two more yesterday^ ^ Delicious!“

As advertised, their menu featured a blend of Italian pasta and Mediterranean seafood dishes.We started off our meal with the Crispy Calamari. It was a decent appetizer that aligned with the typical offerings of a modern Italian restaurant. Its seasoning was a tad overbearing, but it still set a nice tone for the meal.From their pasta selections, we opted for theWild Mushroom Mafalde and the Wild Boar Cocoa Pappardelle. The Pappardelle boasted a tender boar ragu with umami from Manchego, but it unfortunately suffered from a lack of cohesion. The pasta itself was slightly undercooked and lacked depth in flavor, failing to fully harmonize with the ragu. On the other hand, the Mafalde was enjoyable. The combination of garlic butter and Aleppo pepper introduced a welcomed acidity, and the interplay of textures between the al dente Mafalde and the succulent mushrooms was particularly satisfying.The highlight of the evening was the Seared Bronzino. Unlike many other Branzino dishes I've tried in Boston, which often fell flat in flavor, Porto’s rendition was masterfully-seasoned. We had a larger party and Yasmin helped me plan the event and accommodated all of us. The hostess was even in on the surprise as she pretended to seat us for 2 when we arrived. Anthony was our server and he was so incredibly patient and fun and very very efficient. We were even given a private room which we did not expect at all and that made our experience that much better. The food and atmosphere were just so great and so special. They weren't kidding as it was about 35 minutes from ordering until our dishes arrived but it was well worth the wait!
