“We came from Chicago to explore Boston. After we visited Bunker Hill, we were looking for a place to hide from the rain. The only place that was close was the "Brewer's Forks". Honestly we were pretty skeptical at first, but we were extremy delighted by the very tasy, delicious food and warm and nice atmosphere. We loved it so much that we decided to stop by the next day again before we went to the airport! We met Jeorge and Kyle who are very professional, polite and nice guys. They helped us choose from their very interesting and outstanding pizza flavors. We have never tried such delicious pizza before. Also the big variety draft beers was very impressive. I would recommend everyone to visit this place. Delicious and authentic food all made fresh at the restaurant, professional stuff and warm atmosphere, everything that you need to feel good!!!“

“Have been here twice for dinner and happy both times with the food - both the menu and the quality. It’s a loud atmosphere - so much it was difficult to have a table conversation for most of our time. The bar is right next to the tables and the crowd noise just bounces off the ceilings.Menu selections are great - some steak, chicken and lots of fish options. Often paired with rice, pasta and a flavorful veggie. Food comes out remarkably quick and hot.Service was a little slow otherwise but I will definitely come back.“

“Very nice spot for food and drinks. Our waitress service started out good and then went down hill. I've never seen an ice tray with oyster shells, used lemons and plates stay the entire dinner melting away. I was never asked if I wanted another $14 drink which I'm sure the owner wants to sell. We also had to share our water. My wife said (she just watched you taking some of my water and never came over) A little food left and we finally were served a carafe of water. Waited a while for the check. Several tables around us empty. I stood up to find someone and she came over.“

“We stopped by here because everything around us was closed at 10PM. The drinks and food were awesome. They have a big selection of cocktails you would never think of trying. Their deviled eggs were so good and the bratwurst sausage was delish. Service was really great. Everyone is extremely nice and welcoming. We came back for a second round the next day!“

“My family eats at Town Tavern often and it's consistantly great! We've tried many of the various menu items and have really enjoyed everything. I especially love the sandwiches and fries. They are my favorites of the many local restaurants we've been to. They also have great cocktails and the service excellent and staff are all very nice! I'd definitely recommend going to Town Tavern.“

“Great "local" spot. Great service. Plentiful street parking within two blocks of restaurant. EXTREMELY cold on a cold night. We wore our coats during the meal. Food was excellent, plentiful and reasonably priced. Drinks were reasonably priced. All-female staff was pleasant, engaging, attentive, welcoming. I would definitely return in warmer seasons...“

“Unexpectedly very good! Dropped a teenage grandchild off at school on a Sunday before the h.s. spring musical and drove off to downtown Waltham to look for a quick lunch. Parked in a nearly empty town parking lot (2 hrs for $2., a real bargain to us New Yorkers). Walked to Moody St., as usual no reservations, just yelp and hope. The first place we came to on the corner was BTT, looked like some decent vegetarian possibilities on the menu, so we went in. Took a couple of minutes but they did find seats for us (& it didn't fill up in the nearly an hour we were there, so not sure why they consulted over their reservations, but whatever). I ordered the avocado toast and added the 2 sunnyside up eggs option, thinking just avo toast wouldn't fill me, but I even told Niko, our server, that it was probably the best or definitely one of the best avocado toast dishes I've ever had (& it's a favorite of mine so I've had a few!). Two thick slices of a good rustic bread, chunky mashed avocado, greens, and then those perfect eggs - sooo delicious! The decaf coffees were fresh and good. Hubs had their black bean burger with fries and said it was really very good. There's an extensive beer menu, the place is pretty big, it's a college town, and we're guessing it's hopping in the evening, especially on weekends. Can't speak to that, but can say we had an amazing lunch!“

“Excellent place to drop in real quick and refuel. The chicken sammich is huge! My crew got burgers and I got the banh mi BBQ pork. It was delicious. The place was super busy and near capacity when we stopped in for an early din din. The food came out as it was ready all hot and steamy. We also got the fried pickles and buffalo tenders. Everything was yummmyyy...if we are in reading again, we will def be hitting this place up. The bar is also really cool, with a bunch of great local beers to choose from.Parking: The parking lot is a bit tight if they are busy, but it's manageable as there is on street parking as well.“

“The irony is that all my companions tonight were not fans of either whiskey nor raw seafood, the two specialties of Citizen Public House, but thankfully all the other food and drink options were plentiful and very delicious! The spicy deep fried pickles were super addictive, the endive winter salad was so flavorful with a very nose-tingly horseradish dressing, cauliflower cream pan fried gnocchi was divine, and especially enjoyed the duck pot pie with root veggies. Our server was so charismatic, attentive and kind. Could not recommend coming here enough! And would love to come back and try their raw seafood bar :)“

“I've been coming here every 2-3 months since the early 2000s and it hasn't changed. Still better than average pub grub (the salmon burger I had today was good, although the basic salad instead of fries was really boring with almost non-existent dressing). As the oldest brewpub in the Boston area, they've continued to up their brewing game and make an excellent and constantly changing variety of beers. This past weekend was their Sour Fest, and since I missed that, I ordered a flight of 3 small pours ($12.75) of the sours they still had remaining (photo). They were all good, but I particularly liked the "Time Curve Prelude #1" Biere de Coupage with berries and black currants, which was the most sour.“
