“I went to this restaurant yesterday and I loved it! For 1 the food was phenomenal ( do not pass out the Pastéis de Nata cause they are absolutely delicious) and Manuel, our server, was so knowledgeable and gave us amazing recommendations. For appetizers We had the basket of bread, which was so warm, the caldo verde with their authentic chouriço (would highly recommend trying if you like soup) and the shrimp in a lemon and garlic sauce which was divine. For entrees we had the octopus, YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS DISH and the Bacalhau and it was absolutely amazing, it felt like I was back in Europe. The food was so so so good that we just dug into it and forgot to take pictures! But we have one of the Pastéis de Nata, which is the original recipe from Lisbon.“

We had the spicy miso based ramen with chicken katsu, the volcano base ramen with bulgogi, the chicken katsu curry rice and a Phoenix Special Roll. From the side salad & miso to the size & freshness of the roll (could've been spicier;)) and the simplicity of the soup bases and even the curry-- everything was delicious! “I dropped in on an early Monday evening for take-out and had a drink while I waited. They have some pretty awesome menu items and it was quite difficult for me to chose. I opted for the veggie chimichanga. I ordered a margarita, snacked on some chips and delicious salsa and enjoyed the wait. After I dug in at home, I was pleasantly pleased with the presentation of my food along with the tastiness. It was amazing! I couldn't believe I've lived in the area my whole young adult years and never been there! Definitely a place to keep in your pocket!“

“We had not been back since the change in owners, so we noted the changes. Was it the season or just a recycled dish but the Bruxelles kilo of mussels was nothing like previously prepared. It was a generic wine broth with most of the tiny mussels in the bottom of the pot, out of the shells. The kilo of PopEye mussels was overwhelming with cheese and very little spinach. Disappointed!! But, We all loved the garlic frites, which were crisp and tasty. The profiteroles were were served with giant scoops of vanilla ice cream. The service was attentive and efficient. “Wonderful experience every time. This was our second time and the experience was amazing each time. Small but cozy place with plenty of delicious options. The service is also quick and friendly, whichs makes everything even better. We started with some steamed dumplings and followed with intestine over rice and fried egg, Sichuan beef noodles soup, and flounder with sour pickled cabbage noodle soup. Everything was absolutely delicious. To finish, we tried the black rice coconut milk dessert. I o wish they had more veggie options.However, everything I tried from this place has been really good. I was surprised at how good their Kimchi Pancakes (KP) are - usually, KP at restaurants are forgettable, and these were anything but.The Tofu Bao Buns are great. The shrimp burger is REALLY good. The fish tacos were ok, I wish there was more kimchi on them. They also make their own kimchi!It's a really nice and quaint spot that I'm going to make sure I tell other about.Vegetarian options: I wish they had more vegetarian options. I believe there are probably 3-5 vegetarian dishes. However, they may accommodate removing meat & eggs from their Bi Bim Bap.“

“Gregorio's Trattoria has become a regular in our take-out dinner rotation. Food is consistently excellent, orders are always ready when expected, and folks that work there are very nice and engaging. Great pizza, chicken parm, shrimp fra diavolo, bruschetta, carbonara, salads...everything is really good. Portions are large enough for two meals, so it turns out their prices are very reasonable...and they have been sending me $10 coupons every time i order guaranteeing I come back. Highly recommend.“

I tried and enjoyed - the curry fish cakes (crispy, well spiced, a little spicy), great wrapped in lettuce with the sweet dipping sauce - drunken noodles with pork which has perfectly chewy noodles with a lot of flavor, a ton of perfectly cooked and tasty veggies - pad see ewe with beef and gai lan (so glad it wasn't broccoli) I did find I had to drink a lot of water after likely due to a ton of sodium. If you want spice ask for the condiments and try the dry chili. It's delicious and packs a real punch. Our friends enjoyed the crispy fried tofu appetizer and pad Thai with tofu“

“Temari Japanese Cafe has become a pretty classic Rockville staple for delicious authentic Japanese food! It does fill up pretty fast on Friday and weekend evenings, so be sure to come early. On my most recent trip I got the Katsu Curry, one of my favorite Japanese comfort food dishes. The curry was thick, rich, and super delicious; bold with flavors, and had potatoes, onions, and beef chunks! Which in combination with the crispy pork katsu on top, its a great combination. They give you plenty of rice and curry too, I just wish there was a bit more katsu given the size of the rest of the plate. Service is really great too, servers are friendly and attentive. I've been here multiple times and it's always a pleasure to dine here.“

“A lovely Ethiopian restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, the owners are very welcoming. I've had the Kitfo here, some other beef dishes, and lamb. I haven't tried everything so far, but the Kitfo is definitely my favourite! I recommend getting it 100% raw - I haven't gotten sick from eating it and it goes to show you how clean the food prep and restaurant is. Also, the owners sell lentils and Injera chips which are AMAZING. Very well done!“

“The food is always good and I love the atmosphere of the Silver Diner. We had to wait to pay for our bill. I don't like how the servers wait around for the tip. The tip suggestions are high. I do believe that if you go out to eat or get food delivered to your house you should definitely tip.“

Other than the wait for food (which seems to be normal at Julii), it was good as always! “I grew up in this area. The restaurant located in Four Corners was once the home to a Seafood restaurant named Fred and Harry's. Now there are 3 restaurants in its place. My initial feelings of the 4 Corners Pub were positive and I was frequenting several times throughout the months. The place is definitely a hotspot. On Thursdays half off pizza. On more than one occasion my order wasn't properly prepared and when I informed the staff they questioned me which left me feeling some kind of way; especially after all the support. Anyway, I don't visit that often except for their fries. I've ordered fries on numerous occasions and recently I was handed a box of burned fries. I contacted them and was told no problem that when I returned they would make another. When I arrived I believe it was the owner who questioned it; as I, by accident had brought in the wrong container which had some food scraps in it. It had gotten mixed up with a container I was going to throw away. I was told I didn't even have to bring it in. The owner kept insisting the fries weren't burned. They did however prepare me another which was excellent. Thanks to the manager. You are appreciated.“

“We selected Iron Bridge Wine Company for dinner to celebrate the retirement of a former work colleague and his wife. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess who in addition to seating us took the time to familiarize us with the menus and drink options. The staff also had a handwritten congratulatory note for our guest of honor, acknowledging the special dinner. Our waiter Sean, was very pleasant and professional, surprising us with four glasses of Prosecco to toast our guests. Appetizers were amazing (Lobster ravioli was so good) and all of us ordered the ribeye steaks which were grilled to perfection. The entire dinner was so enjoyable, paced perfectly, and our guests were so pleased and appreciative of the effort put forth by the restaurant team. It was a perfect evening -- thank you!“
