“Royal Taj is our go-to restaurant for special occasions, like our 20th Wedding Anniversary last week. It never fails to deliver excellence. Because it was a very special dinner, we decided to try something different. So my wife ordered the Lobster Malabar and I ordered the Grilled Halibut. Both were very good, especially the Halibut which was covered in an outstanding Corn Relish. To top off the evening our excellent server, Joshi, brought us a slice of very tasty cheesecake with a lit candle on top. As usual we cannot rave loud and often enough about Royal Taj and it is all due to the GM Binda, who is very friendly, charismatic and truly sets the tone of excellence at Royal Taj.“

“Celebrating our nephew's UMCP graduation called for a celebratory meal, but with a last-minute group of 21, finding a table proved daunting. Thankfully, Seasons 52 in Columbia came to the rescue! They graciously accommodated our large, unplanned party. But the true stars of the show were our waiters, Ahmed and Chris. Their service was impeccable – patient, friendly, and always attentive to our needs. From the grandparents and parents to the young children, everyone felt welcome and well-cared for. Ahmed and Chris' genuine customer focus made our entire graduation celebration a truly special occasion. We were especially impressed with Seasons 52's ability to handle such a large group last-minute. The restaurant itself has a warm and inviting ambiance, perfect for a family gathering. We were seated in a private and spacious area that allowed for conversation and celebration without feeling crowded. We will definitely be returning to Seasons 52 on our next trip to Maryland. “We went to do the poke, and wound up with soup, noodles and curry. Really good! The wonton soup had a really good dark, spicy broth (not vegetarian!). My wife's combination lo mein was really good, and the Thai curry with tofu was some of the best I've had.The owners were really fun to talk with, a couple of extroverts doing something they seem to really enjoy. Service was fast, fresh and very friendly! We dined in, "picnic style," as John described it! ? Extra star on the atmosphere for the conversation!I'll have to go back to sample more of the vegetarian options. The vegetables in my curry were no afterthought, but really good, and the firm tofu was really enjoyable. Not sure how to convey that, because the tofu isn't usually a highlight. It looks like even the banh mi if available veggie. Lots of options!Vegetarian options: It looks like all the main dishes are available with a veggie option. My tofu curry was really good, and not just a mish-mash without meat.“

Every time I’ve been, there has never been a wait.There’s a bar in the main area and booths completely behind that, separated by a wall. TV’s line your vision in the booths, so you have things to look at. Great lighting.Servers are enthusiastic and prompt to help. Additionally, every drink (including soft drinks) arrives by twos. So if you order a sprite, two mugs of sprite are coming out. The first time I came here, I gave away one of my beers because I didn’t know this.The pretzel is good, however, the salt comes on the side and it gets hard fairly quickly. The cheese is from another world, it is so good; I’d just recommend eating it quickly, before it’s not soft and hot anymore. 7.5/10The pineapple beers were some of the best beers I’ve had in a while. I’m not a beer person, so the fact that I could tolerate dipping on two of them says something. My coworker also thinks highly of the raspberry. 9/10The dog pound pizza comes with chicken, sausage, pepperoni and bacon. The pizza comes out at the perfect temperature- you don’t have to wait 10 minutes to avoid burning yourself or the cheese sliding off the pizza. The crust is seasoned TO THE GODS, and is noticeable with each bite of the pizza. I’m not a fan of overwhelming tomato sauce, but pubdog got the ratio completely right, in addition to their sauce being delicious. 10/10“

“The hearty shellfish bisque was absolutely delicious with generous amounts of crab and shrimp. The delicious softshell crab was among the most tender and meaty that I've ever had. The service was very prompt, friendly, and professional. The ambiance in the spacious, nicely decorated, and beautiful home was warm and inviting. The very good beer and wine selection included oatmeal stout and old world reds. Parking was very convenient.“

“This was far from my first time here, but stopped by for a mother's day lunch today. Not pictured (because I was hungry, sorry) was the charcuterie plate and the Thai steamed mussels. The charcuterie plate had toasted bread, spiced nuts, two cheeses (today was havarti dill and a "grilled" cheese), prosciutto, smoked duck, whole grain mustard, house made pickles and a sweet relish. All the components on their own are delicious, but my favorite pairing was the bread with whole grain mustard, smoked duck, and sweet relish on top. The Thai mussels were cooked perfectly, the broth was light and full of ginger, garlic and coconut, served with a garlic Naan style bread. For desert, the s'mores cake with torched marshmallow, fudge sauce, chocolate cake and a Graham ice cream. It was decadent without being cloying, and a great ratio of chocolate, marshmallow, and Graham cracker that a lot of s'mores desserts get wrong. I also got the espresso marti-no, which was their non alcoholic espresso martini. Essentially a cold brew, but I loved the fancy feeling and it was refreshing and sweet. Our sever, Mike, was attentive and helpful, checked on us frequently but not enough to interrupt the experience. Love the ambiance here and the food is always a hit.“

“I ordered online and my order was ready when they said it would be. Personally, I think BGR has better burgers than Five Guys, In and Out, and BurgerFi. BGR burgers range from a dependable delicious basic burger, all the way up to an extravagant unexpected, yet still delicious burger. My favorites are the triple d and the wagyu Wellington.“

“I'm in town for work, and I saw this place close to my hotel. I was skeptical, but the reviews convinced me, and I'm so glad they did. I've mostly been eating junk food on this trip, and it was nice to have something soothing like pho. I had the #9 pho An Loi, and it was really good. Fresh ingredients, a heaping plate of bamboo shoots, sliced peppers, and basil. Plenty of meat, even in the small bowl. It really hit the spot. The ladies who waited on me were very sweet, too. I'll be back, and I definitely recommend this place.“

Theirs are the best, from oat least 9 religions of the Chesapeake. My wife had the fabulous Lobster Roll, and my son had the Cedar-plank Salmon. Delightful dinners all. Highly recommended!“

Fed up, I decided to use a local business, this one. We tried Apple Spice last Christmas when our chief surgeon bought lunch for us. I found that ordering was super easy, quality of food was superb, delivery was on time, and all personnel were professional. You've earned a repeat customer! My husband and I went and it’s a food truck on the side of an apartment complex, but don’t let looks deceive you, the food is amazing. The woman taking orders was nice and friendly; the menu is a little overwhelming and I ultimately decided to go with the Tacos Mexicanos. There are a few picnic tables with umbrellas, but it was raining so we waited in the car and our order was ready in less than ten minutes. We took it to go to a nearby brewery that allows outside food. The order was packed with napkins and utensils and as soon as I opened the bag I could smell the cilantro and it smelled amazing. I got three tacos with carnitas and a side of salsa and a couple lime wedges. The tacos were so delicious and flavorful. I’ll definitely be back for more!“
