“We had an overall positive experience at Restaurante El Salvador while traveling from Odenton, MD, to New York. The food was delicious; I ordered a typical Salvadoran dish with beans, rice and roast beef, as well as three pupusas and an order of fries ?️. My son enjoyed a pupusa, but a hair appeared in the second one ?.

The manager acted quickly, apologized and told us we could order whatever we wanted for free. I only ordered an additional cheese pupusa for my son, but I noticed that on the receipt they charged for it ?. In the end, we only paid for my plate, the fries and the juices, which was a very appreciated gesture ?.

However, one aspect that could improve is the condition of the bathrooms. My son came in and saw that they had not added water, which is not acceptable ?.

Despite the confusion with the pupusa and the problem in the bathrooms, the customer service was excellent and the food was very good ?. I would definitely consider returning in the future. I recommend the place! ⭐

“First time trying Nana and it was fantastic! We ordered a whole chicken (bichis) + 3 sides (roasted potatoes, roasted cauliflower, and red rice). Plus we got a side of beans, and I can never pass on flautas so we got those, too!

The chicken was juicy and well marinated. It comes cut into quarters, easy for dividing! All the sides were delicious, but the beans were probably my favorite, so much flavor.

Ordering online was easy, and I did it through Uber Eats because your first 2 orders are 40% off with the code NANA40. So excited to have this new local restaurant in the neighborhood!

“My partner booked one of Little Havana’s private rooms for my 40th birthday party and they were PHENOMENAL from start to finish. In the planning phase, they were SUPER flexible with how to structure how much food to put out, open bar/ticket/bar limit pricing, and bringing outside dessert options. During the event, the food was plentiful and SO good, we had use of an AV projector so my partner could display a sweet slideshow of pictures, and the bar staff absolutely could not have been more friendly and helpful. They were attentive throughout, the space was perfect, and everyone was raving about the party. “Used to go to R&R when they were in a gas station in Elkridge. Hadn’t been since they moved downtown and all the Food Network hype in between. Just got some tacos and a California burrito at the Lombard Street location and was beyond pleasantly surprised. The flavors and quality of ingredients are still excellent. “Was going to the medical center nearby and found this restaurant on a whim. Solid 4 stars. Ordered takeout: asada fajitas, 2 tacos (asada & carnitas), and a “side” of guacamole. I was first surprised by the final price $32 however the side of guac ended up being $6 plus they added an unexpected credit card fee (wish they were more upfront as I had cash).I highly recommend the tacos, they are a mere $3.50 each, stuffed with meat and are well above average!! The seemingly $$ guac is actually a full restaurant appetizer portion that includes chips - it was also excellent! I do wish they offered a tiny cup portion (for maybe $2?) to have with my tacos since that is all I wanted it for. The fajitas were ok in comparison with the other items. There was an abundance of well-seasoned meat (why am I complaining?) but sorely lacking veggies. Not enough onions/peppers and 100% would have benefited from pico de gallo. I would go back for tacos and guacamole for sure ?.

Parking: Limited parking on street. Bus stop directly in front of restaurant, recommend waiting in car (if doing takeout) to avoid any parking violations.“
