“The food was amazing!! I couldn’t believe how tasty it was. My friend is vegetarian so it was so cool she had options. We got dumpings regular and vegan and the red miso and mushroom ramen. There is also cool option to reward staff with beer! We had to do it! (˘ ▽ ˘) っ ♨(ˆڡˆ)“

“Food was all delicious and inventive! Crispy chicken wings and spicy cauliflower were my favourite. I’m not quite sure the small/medium/big plates translate all that accurately though, so do be wary of overordering. The service also could have been a bit faster at times but for a relaxed Friday night dinner it’s not a huge problem. Friendly service and fun atmosphere makes up for it.“

“My debit card was used in an unauthorized transaction at this location on Jan. 26, 2024, for an order I did not place. Luckily, my bank caught it but I’m unsure if Hibachi Express is aware that their card system may be compromised. I really enjoy the food and the customer service here and hope this situation will not happen again.“

“Everything was excellent. We shared the Korean beef and the Thai BBQ chicken and both were so good. We argued over which was better and settled on the Korean beef. They did chicken and rice for the kid. All the portions were generous and the service was very friendly and attentive. If we lived here, we'd definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: They were ready with lidded cups and extra napkins!“

“Nice and reasonably priced. I got the signature lamen, which was good but the noodles were a little too soft. The broth was delicious, though. For the price, my food was pretty good. My friends ordered the soup dumplings and said those were phenomenal!“

“So tasty, what a gem!! I ordered the CURRY LAKSA NOODLE Soup, pictured. It can be all plant based - I asked for mushrooms, spinach and broccoli to be added/substituted for the chicken, and with no hesitation they accommodated me! I'm so pleased with this Union Station fast casual option, located on the second level. If you take the stairs opposite the Amtrak ticket counter, you'll find it with big open air seating. This dish also includes tofu, vegetables, rice sticks & egg noodle combination in a coconut curry broth, with bean sprouts, fresh! green beans, and corn. Amazing, and spicy warm. They have non spicy foods, too. I'll upload the current menu.“

“I could eat this food everyday! It is so good and light you can't stop eating it. I normally just get there spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls (because I'm allergic to avocado) but they have these lunch bowls that look Amazing! I trying those next!“

“Damn good Chinese food. Local spot too! All the food I've ever ordered from here was not only fresh, but exceptionally great portions. Highly recommend their vegetable eggs rolls & their General Tso chicken. You won't be disappointed!“

“Read about Wok and Roll in a "Best places to eat in Chinatown" article. Given that it's a quick right off of the Chinatown exit from the Metro stop, I had to check it out. Apparently, they also offer karaoke by the hour. Interesting. When I went in, I wasn't prepared to be met with a code locked door and cut out plexiglass for take away. The sweet server came right away and opened the way to a small dining area. The writer recommended this restaurant for their affordable lunch, and prices were on point! Many affordable offerings were a refreshing change. They offer two dish lists, $10.95 or $11.95, and $1 to add an egg roll or soup. They also offer a selection of two sushi rolls and a miso soup for $13.95. Their full menu was also available. I ventured out on a rainy day in search of dumplings, so I was sad to learn they didn't make their own. They did have four men on the sushi line, which was tempting, but I'm a scent person and passed. Instead, I opted for the lunch of pork in garlic and added on the egg roll. It was a little shorter and fatter than most and filled with delicious cabbage, carrot, and pork. While I waited, the place filled up (2 PM), and they took a lot of calls for takeout. My entree portion was impressive for lunch. The dish was heaped with strips of pork, bell peppers, onion, water chestnuts, and a few chili peppers in a delicious garlic sauce. If you don't like a little spice, be warned. A small bowl of steamed white rice came alongside. I could've eaten this dish for days. Service: warm and friendly. Price: exceptional. Taste: Excellent. Atmosphere: nothing fancy, small and quirky. It was a great find from a recommendation that I completely agree with. By far, it was the most affordable lunch I had after 4 days in DC. So go check it out for yourself.Wheelchair accessibility: I think a wheelchair or scooter might be tricky getting through to the dining room. Tables and restrooms are accessible.“

“Chinese carryout is pretty good. I usually always get the same thing with slight variations. 5pc wings with fries or shrimp fried rice, mumbo sauce on everything. Sometimes I'll do fried shrimp with fries. We also have tried their veggie lo mein and that's really good. I'm never disappointed with these options. Only downside is they are cash only and no delivery.“
“Fresh sushi & fantastic lunch specials! Everyone from presidents, to congressmen, to celebrities have dined here & loved the food & service as evident by the numerous signed pictures on the wall. This restaurant is also a quick walk away from the National Mall & is a perfect quick lunch while out “

“Everything we ordered was outstanding -- from sushi to tater tots to singapore noodles. We had a mix of vegetarians and carnivores at our table and everyone was happy. Plus, this place is one of the few places you can eat your fill for a reasonable amount of money. Will be back!“

“Me and bae wanted to try a new spot so we looked up food spots around us. We came here. We got the food to go and everything was really good. The Mac and cheese was the only thing that could have been better. It needed some more seasoning and baking for my liking. The jerk was spicy and good. The bbq beans were top notch flavorful. The collard greens were good. Will definitely go back and try the boboa drinks as well.“
