“The food is pretty enjoyable. Reasonable prices for DC. Staff is really nice and friendly. I come here about once a month and it's a spot where I will happily take friends who are visiting. It's a cool vibe outside, I would recommend expecting to wait in line on a weekend night.“
“I took my husband here for a birthday lunch. He ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the salmon avocado salad. Both were amazing!! The salad had fresh ingredients and even the dressing tasted homemade. The fish and chips were fried to perfection and melted in your mouth. Service was excellent and we were made to feel right at home. The restaurant was clean and inviting and I can’t wait to return once the outdoor patio is open. Many thanks to the owners for making my husband’s birthday special and ensure he felt celebrated.“
“SERVICE: Our server was friendly and helpful in answering our questions and providing recommendations from the menu based on our preferences. Very professional and she was always around when we needed anything.FOOD: If you like chicken nachos you should try these. They put the right amount of cheese, chicken, jalapenos, guac, every ingredient pairs perfectly. I had the chicken enchilada and my husband the chicken tacos. The plates are smaller in size than expected but still delicious and filling..ATMOSPHERE: The ambience of the restaurant is very inviting and comfortable. The indoor dining area is to the left when you walk in, the bar in the middle and outdoor seating. Very nice.Overall we will visit this establishment again!“
“This was my first visit. I ordered a good amount of food to get a taste/feel of the restaurant, and I wasn’t disappointed. I had the crab enchiladas, southwest chicken egg rolls, and birria (idk how to spell it lol) ramen. I ordered in person, but wanted to eat at home so I had take out. Very clean and professional establishment. The customer service was nice, and I look forward to returning to get the dining in experience. I received great portions of each dish. The birria ramen was tasty, but my least favorite dish. That’s a matter of preference though. I believe someone else who enjoys birria may love it. I was just trying something new with that dish!Parking: Located in a shopping center with ample parking.“

“We loved this place!!! Chose HiFi based on the Yelp reviews and realized when we arrived that this is actually a food hall type venue called The Roost. I'll be reviewing the whole place. The ambiance is incredible, and the way it flows is ingenious. You sit down, scan a QR code with your phone, and are able to order from any of the multiple eateries in the space. Place your order online and then waitstaff brings your order over from any/all of the restaurants. Honestly, I ordered from multiple spots- HiFi, the bar, the sushi spot- and all of our food was absolutely phenomenal. I will be back for sure the next time we're visiting DC!“
“Randomly decided to stop by here as I discovered it driving home from work… I’m soooo glad I did! The food was made fresh, fast (enough), and absolutely delicioussssss! I got the beef bowl and it was some of the best tasting food I’ve had in a while!! :-)“
“First time here & it did not disappoint! The gentleman who took our order was extremely patient and attentive. The food was really good. Good portions & presentation. One of the better taco spots in the area for sure! Will definitely be back.“
“The food is fantastic. I had the shrimp, steak and chicken tacos. The sauces that came with the tacos are super good. I also had the taco dip, which was also amazing. I took some back to my staff and everyone loved it. We have found a new lunch spot.“
“It was a beautiful early springlike day when I dined here so I requested a table outside. The food was delicious - I had the brussel sprouts appetizer and the chicken tagine. Excellent flavors in both. My server was very kind and helpful. I splurged on the crunch bar dessert which was delightful! I will definitely return for another meal.“
“I've tried placing an order for other menu items, but, I'm addicted to the chicken quesadilla and churros! Sizeable chucks of chicken and the cheese...honey this quesadilla is everything!!My son raved about the tacos and torta. Oh, he's also a fan of the churros.“
“First time going there, definitely not my last. Excellent dive restaurant for a quick bite. I love the mis of Mexican and Asian food in a plate. Ordered tacos (Grilled pork, spicy chicken and the steak). Price was excellent and it was definitely filling. Highly recommend!“
“Been dying to try this place for a while. Loved the atmosphere. Staff was nice. Markus was a whole vibe! He had me & my gf cracking up. The Baja fish, glazed pork, & chicken tacos are my fav. We will def be back and this time it’ll be early enough to grab seats at the bar!“
“Takorean was given a high endorsement from an associate of mine to try while in Washington DC. They were not wrong.Cleanliness. 4.5 of 5. The restaurant was well maintained and appeared very clean.Service: 3.5 of 5. Staff was professional but not talkative to the customers. A little more interaction would have been nice for a first trial run.Food quantity 5 of 5. I ordered the slaw bowl that had romaine slaw with some kimchi slaw. For the meat I had chicken. Additions were tomatoes, pickled daikon radish, and cilantro. A lot of food, left the restaurant full.Food quality 5 of 5. Every bite was full of flavor and pleasant. The aroma of the food matched the taste. Though late in the day when I solicited the restaurant, the food was still fresh, delicious, and delightful.Price: $$ 15-20 per person would be reasonable, I didn’t chose a lot of options that could increase one’s bill.Overall I would give this restaurant a 4.5 of 5“
“Heads up-- this is inside of the 7/11. The tortillas are amazing and they make them on the spot!! Worth the 5 min wait. They also have tamales! Super affordable and delicious. There is a small sitting area inside the 7/11 but you can also take it to go.Vegetarian options: Egg based options, beans and rice“
“This is hands-down, the best Silvestre location in my opinion. I always call and order my food and it's always ready for pick up when I go. The service is phenomenal and so is the food. My go to order is a steak taco bowl. The steak is always very tender and well seasoned. The taco bowl is always overflowing and the amount of steak that you get for the price is amazing. Both the green and orange sauces, put all of the dishes over the top. I've also had their pupusa and tamales. I love a good pupusa and the curdito that comes with it is so fresh. The prices are great, and the food is amazing. This is definitely one of my favorite spots to go to when I don't wanna cook“
“My teenage son is rarely able to eat out at restaurants due to severe food allergies. We were thrilled at finding that he could safely order a delicious meal from Surfside Taco Stand! Many thanks to the staff and cooks who made his evening really special! @ Surfside Taco Stand - The Wharf - 33 District Square SouthwestDietary restrictions: The staff was super accommodating to my son's severe food allergies! They asked perceptive questions, double checked things, and gave good suggestions. So happy and grateful that he could eat safely! He ordered the plain chicken tacos with lettuce and cherry tomatoes. It also came with plain rice and a lime slice. [Allergies: eggs, dairy, soy, treenuts, peanut, sesame, legumes, wheat]“
“You can get your food fast. (Update) for some reason I kept the water bottle that I got thereVegetarian options: Of course there are vegetarian options. why wouldn't there be.Wheelchair accessibility: The doors to the place are low to the ground.“
“Went here on a friend’s recommendation. Very good! We tried enchiladas verdes, tacos de lengua, al pastor & chorizo and the menudo. All was very delicious and authentic. It was surprisingly uncrowded for a Saturday evening considering how delicious it was. Good drinks too! If you haven’t been here, you need to go!“

“Let me tell you…..that Pescado Fritas…….loooooord have mercy. I went back the next day after my first try. Best fried fish I have had EVER!!!! It melts in your mouth like butter. They put it on top of a leaf of lettuce. I will be back here on the regular.“
“El Papi Real Street Tacos is a little off the beaten path. The food is for an acquired soft taco taste. The food was dry and not as flavorful as other taco tasting around the US. It did not seem like a Central American Taco experience but more like a US fusion.Parking: The parking lot is small but open to allow a clear view of the surroundings. It appeared to have between 20-25 spots.“
“The food is ALWAYS amazing! The service is always on point! Everyone is so nice and helpful and welcoming! It's such a entertaining environment. They use fresh squeezed juice on all their cocktails so the drink are on point every time! It's literally my favorite place to go after work! Z, Zip, James, Calvin, and Tony are all the best and always make the experience so perfect. This is THEE after work spot and I doubt that changes anytime soon!“
“Quality and customer service are the most important things I look at when purchasing anything. With SP's Cuisine I know I'm going to get both! Shaun gives amazing customer service and his food is phenomenal. I have yet to have anything I did not like. From the trio Cajun pasta (my absolute favorite) to brunch, and one of my new favorites his street Tacos. Sp's Cuisine is my family's go to for good food. It's also black owned. Keep it up!“
