“I love this place! Food is always delicious and drinks are on point every time. They are a mile from my place so I’m there a couple times a week. My favorite bartender is Attia, very dedicated to customer service which keeps me coming back. This is the best place for tacos in the DMV. I’ve been to the other places and they just don’t compare. Oh and when you go get the Taquera salsa. It’s my favorite so I buy the big bottle every visit.“
“Tequila Taco is a hidden gem worth discovering! My waitress, Brigid, exuded kindness and helpfulness, bringing fantastic energy to the dining experience. The food was exceptional, with deliciously fresh guacamole and authentically tasty tacos. I'll definitely be returning for more of this culinary delight!“
“Im so excited about this place, i was devastated when Dos Amigos closed in Springfield, found out this morning out of desperation of why it closed that Dos Hermanos was opened with the same amazing Management from the Springfield location and immediately rushed over for lunch. This is what I have been missing in my life and Im so excited as everything is just as amazing from the food to the customer service. This is my now go to spot and I will be a repeated customer with all my family!!!!“
“Our first visit. Won’t be our last. Good to have this restaurant in our neighborhood. Rice and beans could have been warmer. Music just a tad loud. Difficult to have a conversation. Still will go back. Mushroom and Pork Belly tacos were delish.“
“Rebranded as Zuki Moon, the space is brighter and more welcoming. The addition of Filipino food items has them offering something that Del Ray was missing. Plus Kelvin is the best cocktail creator and bartender with the sweetest personality.“
“Our group of 5 ordered to-go with quite a bit of food ranging from a dozen pupusas and Camarones Al Ajo. Food was hot and plentiful. All sides were included and enough to go with each bite. I ordered Camarones Al Ajo and I could definitely split it into two meals for two different days. The shrimp were springy with the delicious taste of a bbq sear still on them. Happy to order again!“
“My friend and I started off by sharing a large Pork and Cheese Pupusa ($3.99). He ordered the Carne Asada and I got Lomo Saltado de Carne, each $18.99. Portions were large and the food was very good. My Horchata ($3.99) took the place of dessert. A bright, cheerful family restaurant. A tip is automatically added to the bill.“
“Great flavor and good service! Would definitely recommend taking advantage of all the different toppings, since that’s where the real flavor comes from. Also don’t forget to ask for extra Shawarma sauce on the side!Service was attentive, and they definitely let customers customize their orders to get what they want. The down side with more options is it can take a little longer to get your food. That said, the service was still reasonably timely, and I’d definitely come back.Parking: This location is inside the mall, so parking can be tricky at popular times.“
“This taco truck is located on 14th St in Arlington,Virginia, right off of Rt. 50 West. Not only are the tacos here delicious but the customer service is very good. The few times I drove by this food truck I noticed pretty decent customer lines which led me to believe this place sold delicious tacos. However on this day I was in luck because the truck did not have a line, on a Saturday evening. I could smell the grill as I crossed the street on my way to the truck. The ordering process was very easy and efficient. On this occasion I ordered Asada (beef) and Pastor (pork) tacos to-go. The tacos were full-flavor and delicious. Overall this was a good taco truck experience and one which I will try again when in the area. Give them a shot for your next taco experience.“
“PhoWheels, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. PhoWheels has consistently amazing food, the friendliest staff in the world, and a totally unique fusion concept. I've had the pork belly tacos twice, the bo-khirria banh mi, and I just barely managed to make myself not order the pork belly tacos a third time so that I could try the oxtail pho tacos. Their pho was absolutely delicious - I liked it even more than the bo kho - and there was such a generous amount of oxtail in the tacos that I scooped part of it directly into the pho and just ate both dishes that way. Their meat is always so tender and well-seasoned. Their roti is perfect - so buttery and soft and flaky. It's worth every penny, and I'm always trying to convince people to try it. You won't regret it! Fair warning that the seating is all outdoors, so plan to get the food to go when the weather isn't nice, but it's a really convenient location right by the metro with plenty of parking around, so it's easy to get to, and the food travels well in my opinion. Eventually I'll manage to try everything on the menu, or maybe just order the pork belly tacos 14 more times.“
“This hidden gem offers a delightful fusion of flavors that's as vibrant and colorful as a Mexican mural. This family-owned operation not only wins your heart with its super friendly staff but also caters to a symphony of dietary preferences, making it a haven for vegetarians, vegans, and those seeking halal options. The casual atmosphere, a playful blend of Mexican zest and Greek finesse, sets the stage for a dining experience that's both laid-back and lip-smackingly good.Diving into the menu is like embarking on a culinary world tour, starting in Mexico with the Vegan taco, a masterclass in flavor that proves you don't need meat to create a masterpiece. It's a plant-based delight that showcases the kitchen's knack for transforming simple ingredients into something extraordinary. The Mexican Pizza, a Wild Tacoz signature, is a flavor bomb. Imagine a 12" pizza that shuns the traditional crust for a double cheese-filled tortilla, creating a base that's as innovative as it is delicious. Topped with a protein of your choice and adorned with a medley of toppings including mild or spicy salsa, a three-cheese mix, tomatoes, onions, black beans, romaine, cilantro, and corn crumbs, it's a dish that dances on the line between genius and madness, landing squarely on the side of genius. Then, we set sail for Greece with the Gyro Burrito, a culinary hybrid that's as bold as it is delicious. Packed with rice, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, feta, and tzatziki, it's a wrap that wraps you in warmth and comfort, proving that when Mexico meets Greece, the result is nothing short of spectacular.Wild Tacoz is not just a restaurant; it's a testament to the power of family, fusion, and the universal language of delicious food. With every dish made to order, freshness is the name of the game, ensuring that each visit is as delightful as the last. In a world where fusion can sometimes mean confusion, Wild Tacoz stands out as a beacon of culinary creativity, blending Mexican flair and Greek elegance into a dining experience that's sure to leave you wild with joy.“
“This place is SO good - you can tell the food is made with love. I had three tacos (duck, beef, pork) and all were delicious + the meat was super tender. We also had key lime pie which was awesome. The guy at the front was so nice and provided great service (I think he is the chef/owner?). Can’t wait to come back and bring people here!“
“What fast/casual place does hand made tortillas?!? Delicious and interesting food, chill vibes/staff, and celiac safe! 11/10, will come back and try the rest of the menuVegetarian options: Tons of options, all of which are incredibleDietary restrictions: Celiac safe!!!! Always great to not worry“
“Their food truck right next to my building & after my first try, I have a hard time to stop myself not getting their veggie tacos, burrito & cheese quesadilla. Cook & server are so nice & they are always quick to provide my order. There is always a line in front of their truck, either short or long line. They deserve it!“
“Had a great happy hour at Tequila & Mezcal! $8 mezcalitas, $10 tacos (3 per order), etc. the tacos were really good as well! The chicken was deceptively strong, and the Al Pastor was delish. I’d 100% come back again to try more of their delicious food.“
“The food is pretty enjoyable. Reasonable prices for DC. Staff is really nice and friendly. I come here about once a month and it's a spot where I will happily take friends who are visiting. It's a cool vibe outside, I would recommend expecting to wait in line on a weekend night.“
“Great restaurant. Very casual and delicious food. Great variety of food. My husband and I enjoy the shrimp tacos, chicken quesadillas, guacamole, salads and drinks! So many other tempting items to try. Didn’t have room for Gifford ice cream. Looking forward to returning.“
“I took my husband here for a birthday lunch. He ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the salmon avocado salad. Both were amazing!! The salad had fresh ingredients and even the dressing tasted homemade. The fish and chips were fried to perfection and melted in your mouth. Service was excellent and we were made to feel right at home. The restaurant was clean and inviting and I can’t wait to return once the outdoor patio is open. Many thanks to the owners for making my husband’s birthday special and ensure he felt celebrated.“
“The food is remarkable! Everything we ordered, we ordered in the "all Vegan" version; vegan enchiladas, vegan nachos, vegan mushroom taco, vegan butternut squash taco. All this food was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to order from Chaia again.“
“Visited this place based on reviews. The place was very small with 4 tables and 8 chairs to sit and eat mostly functioning as a take out place/cloud kitchen. The food was great but not amazing. Their tacos had good options and the nachos were really nice.“
“SERVICE: Our server was friendly and helpful in answering our questions and providing recommendations from the menu based on our preferences. Very professional and she was always around when we needed anything.FOOD: If you like chicken nachos you should try these. They put the right amount of cheese, chicken, jalapenos, guac, every ingredient pairs perfectly. I had the chicken enchilada and my husband the chicken tacos. The plates are smaller in size than expected but still delicious and filling..ATMOSPHERE: The ambience of the restaurant is very inviting and comfortable. The indoor dining area is to the left when you walk in, the bar in the middle and outdoor seating. Very nice.Overall we will visit this establishment again!“
“Stumbled upon this place when trying to find some late lunch and was pleasantly surprised! We didn’t try the juices, but the tacos were so good and for pretty decent prices. It’s nice to sit outside when the weather is pleasant too. Will definitely be coming back!“
“My recent dining experience at Taqueria La Ceibita was a mix of moderate culinary satisfaction juxtaposed with concerns about the overall cleanliness of the establishment. The nuances of this experience prompted me to reflect on both positive and challenging aspects of my visit.Starting with the positives, the food at Taqueria La Ceibita can be characterized as average. While it met the baseline expectations for a taqueria, it didn't quite achieve the level of culinary distinction that might set it apart from other similar establishments. The menu offered a variety of traditional options, but the execution and flavor profiles were somewhat run-of-the-mill, lacking that special touch that elevates a dining experience.Where Taqueria La Ceibita faced notable challenges was in the realm of cleanliness. The overall tidiness of the establishment left much to be desired, and this impacted the overall ambiance. The dining area, tables, and even the restrooms exhibited signs of inadequate maintenance, contributing to an atmosphere that fell short of the hygiene standards one would expect from a dining establishment. The cleanliness issues were particularly apparent in the restroom facilities, a crucial element in providing a positive dining experience. Clean and well-maintained restrooms contribute significantly to the overall perception of a restaurant, and in this case, the lapses in cleanliness detracted from the overall impression. It's important to acknowledge that the staff at Taqueria La Ceibita were friendly and accommodating, which added a positive dimension to the dining experience. Their customer-centric approach contributed to a welcoming atmosphere despite the cleanliness concerns. In conclusion, Taqueria La Ceibita offers an average dining experience with a friendly staff, but the notable cleanliness issues pose a challenge to the overall ambiance. Addressing these hygiene concerns promptly would be crucial for the establishment to enhance its appeal and provide a more satisfying dining experience for patrons. The potential for improvement is evident, and with concerted efforts in maintaining“
“Absolutely amazing dinner at El Techno for my birthday. Vibes were immaculate, birria ramen bomb was in the top 5 things I've ever eaten. Staff were friendly and helpful, but didn't hover, absolutely perfect. Margaritas were delicious. The owner, Louie, came by and introduced himself and made sure everything was great. Honestly couldn't ask for a better dinner for the price.“
“It was a beautiful early springlike day when I dined here so I requested a table outside. The food was delicious - I had the brussel sprouts appetizer and the chicken tagine. Excellent flavors in both. My server was very kind and helpful. I splurged on the crunch bar dessert which was delightful! I will definitely return for another meal.“
“The young lady who took my order had excellent customer service! The lady where I picked up my order was terrible. She didn't include napkins or utensils. Just rude. The food..OMG..the dirty carne asada taco and the mulita de birria was amazing! The black beans and yellow rice was so good!“
“We loved this place!!! Chose HiFi based on the Yelp reviews and realized when we arrived that this is actually a food hall type venue called The Roost. I'll be reviewing the whole place. The ambiance is incredible, and the way it flows is ingenious. You sit down, scan a QR code with your phone, and are able to order from any of the multiple eateries in the space. Place your order online and then waitstaff brings your order over from any/all of the restaurants. Honestly, I ordered from multiple spots- HiFi, the bar, the sushi spot- and all of our food was absolutely phenomenal. I will be back for sure the next time we're visiting DC!“
“The tacos here, a silent gold, steep in price,Yet in their flavors, they roll the dice.Greatness in each bite, a culinary flood,But the cost whispers too loud, thuds in the bud.Four stars they earn, not without strife,For the bill that comes, sharpens like a knife.A feast for the palate, yet the wallet's tight,In this dance of taste and cost, a nuanced fight.“
“You won’t be disappointed in the outcome of your food. Tacos and Tortas are top two items to orderTheir wings are better than the wing places out there.Salsas are mildly good.Inexpensive brunch options too.If they had a frequent punch card I would have completed a few by nowParking: The parking is always crowded so park in the not popular or obvious spots unless you want extra stress and pressure of holding up traffic and parking ?️ then you have been warned or go at off peak timings“
“We ordered some vegetarian dishes like mushroom tacos, veggie quesadillas and a veggie sandwich which was so damn delicious ? all the items were so tasty even if it was delivered to our house can’t imagine going in the restaurant and actually having hot meals. I’d definitely recommend this place for all vegetarians.?“
“I love this place. I will forget about it for a few weeks and then visit and remember how much I love it. The food is excellent, the drinks are good (Michelada is my go-to), and I've always had great service. My favorites- puffy blue chips with queso, Key West fish taco, fried Avocado taco, and the Puffy beef taco. All delicious though, can't go wrong.“
“The Bulgogi, spicy pork, al pastor and carne asada tacos were the best. The chorizo tacos were good, and so were the Gal bee. The carnitas and pork belly lacked flavor but the meat was cooked well. The complimentary chips and salsa was really good! The music was interesting. It was a mix of some slow covered R&B and some modern Mexican music. They kept switching the songs, which was kinda odd. Decent server, not above and beyond but not below average. I’d recommend this place to my friends.“
“I just had the mixed grill fajita tonight and it was incredible, the chicken and beef are the cats meow. The customer service is the best, the staff are so friendly and generous. I haven’t actually been to the store yet, but met staff at the food truck the week before last and one of our housemates also raves about the service. So glad J and J came to Mount Rainier!“
“First time going there, definitely not my last. Excellent dive restaurant for a quick bite. I love the mis of Mexican and Asian food in a plate. Ordered tacos (Grilled pork, spicy chicken and the steak). Price was excellent and it was definitely filling. Highly recommend!“
“I've tried placing an order for other menu items, but, I'm addicted to the chicken quesadilla and churros! Sizeable chucks of chicken and the cheese...honey this quesadilla is everything!!My son raved about the tacos and torta. Oh, he's also a fan of the churros.“
“Been dying to try this place for a while. Loved the atmosphere. Staff was nice. Markus was a whole vibe! He had me & my gf cracking up. The Baja fish, glazed pork, & chicken tacos are my fav. We will def be back and this time it’ll be early enough to grab seats at the bar!“
“Currently addicted to the enchiladas with green salsa, though the red is fantastic as well. The bean burrito is a must try, and their refries beans and rice are perfect. Prices are so reasonable, especially for the area and to go orders are made super quickly!“
“D.C. Corazon tiene mi corazón ❤️As a Mexican-American who moved to DC from Texas, it’s been a miserable two year journey of trying to find a “Mexican restaurant” that actually serves authentic Mexican food. I’m happy to have found DC corazon last week, where my partner and I tried their tacos, chicken mole, and carne asada huarache. Today we ordered similar items and added elote into the mix as well as their cheese quesadilla. All I can say is that I’m glad to have a piece of home in DC now. The drinks are also incredible, so make sure you get your serving of both food and drinks when you visit.“
“The guy at the front went back and gave his mother the order and she made it. A place that has the Mama working in the back spells amazing and the food was excellent and pretty darn authentic. I have not seen any Mexican restaurants in the area with the true family preparation. Generally see the commercialized sell out of a business model. This is my place.“
“Local and authentic Pupusería. $6 for 2. Fresh and made to order, lots of options but I went with just bean and cheese and cheese. Service was friendly and fast. The restaurant is small on the inside but there's a pretty large outdoor covered patio. Definitely recommend and would be interested in their other offerings.“
“Takorean was given a high endorsement from an associate of mine to try while in Washington DC. They were not wrong.Cleanliness. 4.5 of 5. The restaurant was well maintained and appeared very clean.Service: 3.5 of 5. Staff was professional but not talkative to the customers. A little more interaction would have been nice for a first trial run.Food quantity 5 of 5. I ordered the slaw bowl that had romaine slaw with some kimchi slaw. For the meat I had chicken. Additions were tomatoes, pickled daikon radish, and cilantro. A lot of food, left the restaurant full.Food quality 5 of 5. Every bite was full of flavor and pleasant. The aroma of the food matched the taste. Though late in the day when I solicited the restaurant, the food was still fresh, delicious, and delightful.Price: $$ 15-20 per person would be reasonable, I didn’t chose a lot of options that could increase one’s bill.Overall I would give this restaurant a 4.5 of 5“
“My teenage son is rarely able to eat out at restaurants due to severe food allergies. We were thrilled at finding that he could safely order a delicious meal from Surfside Taco Stand! Many thanks to the staff and cooks who made his evening really special! @ Surfside Taco Stand - The Wharf - 33 District Square SouthwestDietary restrictions: The staff was super accommodating to my son's severe food allergies! They asked perceptive questions, double checked things, and gave good suggestions. So happy and grateful that he could eat safely! He ordered the plain chicken tacos with lettuce and cherry tomatoes. It also came with plain rice and a lime slice. [Allergies: eggs, dairy, soy, treenuts, peanut, sesame, legumes, wheat]“
“Great food, friendly service and good vibes. Having Celiac’s I’m happy to have a place that’s gluten free and celiac friendly with delicious food. I often get ceviche, the pork belly taco, guacamole with chips, plantains and margaritas. I have tried other tacos and bowls too and all are good. It’s nice to try a little bit of everything or share with friends or date.“
“Came here for just a shot after work and ended up in a great places with great food.My bartender dimitri was honestly the best. He took care of me and my friends the whole time one of the best servers/bartenders I’ve had yet. I’ll definitely be back!“
“Nice counter serve experience right off U St. I had seen Bandit on a list for best breakfast burrito in DC - it did not disappoint!Huge burritos, pick your own protein. I added guacamole but I might recommend avoiding the guacamole addition on future orders. The burrito was huge without it, so more stuff made it more complicated to eat I think. Can’t wait to go back!“
“Fantastic street tacos ($4-$6 per) and delicious margaritas. Orders are taken on a kiosk, so… no human interaction and straight forward. The only interaction we had was through the bar tender, which wasn’t much. Didn’t seem like wanted to be there nor did he seem to care about customers waiting to order. Bottom line - awesome food, unfriendly drinks.“
