“Good store! Their smoothies are really good but their "Mint Mint Chocolate Chocolate Chip" speciality ice cream is a little too sweet for my taste. The workers were pretty nice but they didn't say much (not that that's a bad thing). Overall I would probably go again, but just get a different menu item.“

Georgetown is known for its cupcakes, and I would like to know why!We visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We found the the line extending outside the store but it moved quickly. We used the time to visit its website for pictures and to make a decision (we would find later the staff was lacking warmth!)We ordered Strawberry and Vanilla Satin. While the strawberry was touted to be top seller, we found it was way too sweet. We shaved off the frosting and found a deliciously moist cupcake with a fragrant strawberry taste. Vanilla satin topped with dark chocolate proved to be a perfect pairing.Adequate seating in the cafe with one restroom at the back. Good for afternoon break while exploring Georgetown!Also bought home the granola which has a subtle hint of coconut. It was yummy but the hefty price tag $17.50 will mean not a second purchase…“

“I ordered a custom cake for a friends birthday and the customer service, communication and the cake was top tier. I felt like the whole process was smooth and the cake looked exactly like what I asked for! It also was delicious! Will be ordering again!!“

“I got a free cupcake for the new years. The cupcakes bread is soft in the middle. The cream atop the cupcake is sweet and has almost of a cheesy flavor(it reminds me of the cheese bread that I would get from Hispanic bakeries); amazing taste! The lady is extremely kind as well. Good service:)“

“This was my first time here and the cakes are delicious! But the most impressive about this experience was the customer service. I was greeted, walked through the process, given tons of samples and they even loaded the car for me so the cake that I ordered would transport safely.This place is almost 40 minutes away from where I live, but totally worth the trip! “I tried this place via a neighbor's recommendation and it was sooo good. The cupcakes are fresh and moist and a really good size for the price. The buttercream is not overly sweet, but still sweet enough. These are literally my favorite cupcakes ever. The shop is in a great location with cute decor and friendly staff. The inside feels pretty instagrammable this time of year (cherry blossoms make the prettiest backdrop!).“

“They made a cake for my dad’s military funeral at Arlington. The cake ended up being more spectacular beyond my imagination!!! And it was absolutely delicious!!!! The cake was so moist and the decorations were impeccable. I ended up giving several of our guests the name of this bakery! I will use them any time I need a cake and you should also.“

“Kaytee is always in when I order and she’s always extremely patient and helpful. She makes great suggestions, allows time for payment and is pleasant when payment issues arise. She is a great employee they definitely represents the brand well and should be given a rise! I come in this bakery multiple times a month and she is always a delight! Thank you Kaytee! “Love the vegan options here! (And the other Bakeshop locations). Very service too. The vegan cupcakes, vegan cookies, vegan cake slices, and awesome vegan ice cream sandwiches are awesome!“

“I love majority of their cakes. It really makes me happy that their carrot cake that typically would have nuts in it does not as a person with nut allergies but my favorite definitely is the white chocolate raspberry cake but please don't buy them all up because again, they're my fave.“

“We consider ourselves conesures of cupcakes. Traveled the US and abroad tasting cupcakes. These were the very worst. Customer service is terrible. Sprinkles, Georgetown, and Heaven Sent Cupcakery Cupcakes exceeds these by leaps and bounds and they all have EXCELLECT Customer service. Oh and their cupcakes are half the price. Sugar Vault is true to its name. The frosting like many have complained has no flavor and measures about a third of a cup in ratio to the cupcake and is unbarerably sweet. The cupcake lacked moisture and was a bit dense. The red velvet did not have a red velvet flavor. Oh and you can't go in to see what you are buying. This is the only bakery that will not allow you to enter even in small numbers rotating thru. Buyer beware...price far exceeds the value. $7 cupcakes, $16 cinnamon roll (haven't yet tried the cinnamon roll). Bought 2 red velvet cupcakes taste tested one and threw the frosting and other cupcake out.“
