“OMG! When I tell you the food here is Delicious with a capitol D I mean it. I am a frequent customer and the food is always good especially the shrimp quesadilla. But today I had a required taste for the shrimp fajita, which was AMAZING! All of the flavors went together perfectly. The shrimp was great and the rice. Adding the white and red sauce was life changing im telling you I'm going back for another plate I was so satisfied. “This past weekend I hosted a birthday party at Mission Navy Yard. The staff was fantastic, providing my group with a private room, bartender, bathroom, and outside patio area. Mission Navy Yard responded to all emails and questions promptly and we experienced no issues throughout our experience. Would definitely recommend!“

“Great place to stop for some delicious Mexican-style food while out and about touring Capitol Hill! Portions are large, staff is friendly, and lots of menu options are available. There are only about ten stools for inside dining but is convenient enough to grab as take out and picnic someplace along the hill. Taco salads, quesadillas, and pork tacos are amazing!“

“Uno Más is an authentic Mexican Kitchen. The service, food, prices, and hospitality is superb. The food is true, authentic, Mexican cuisine. While the atmosphere is not that of a 5 star restaurant the food, and drinks surely makes up for it all. 10/10 I recommend anyone who love Mexican cuisine to try Uno Más!!“

“I really enjoyed eating at Samantha’s! I was so surprised to walk in and see a lot of families eating in there, which told me this was a popular spot with potentially a lot of returning customers. We ordered the argentine steak that was supposed to come with a chimichurri sauce but didn’t appear present on the steak, more so “flavored” chimichurri I guess.. and I ordered beef and ribs fajitas. The rice and beans were really good and tasty. I enjoyed my beef fajitas, but the ribs were a little too saucy and more American bbq tasting than Latino style. I see that they have a pork ribs entree on the menu which I may try next time to see if they’re any but different than the fajitas.I really liked that they had a large menu with many options so we can try different stuff each time we come back. Will be returning soon with local family!“

“I got a bowl and it was delicious. The food was fresh, especially the lettuce. The salsa de habanero was hot and added to the meal. It wasn't so hot it caused discomfort. Can't wait to order again. I had delivery so I can't speak on the atmosphere.“

“I've been a loyal customer of Las Placitas for over two decades! I've followed them from their old location to their new location here in Navy Yard. Their food never disappoints and it's a place you can come to whine down. Don Jose is the face of the restaurant and he's one of the main reasons I always come back! “Such a great neighborhood gem. The food is good and the atmosphere is cute and quaint. My only gripe is that on the website, it states the restaurant closes at 9pm/9:30pm. However, it’s more like 7:30pm! It always closes early for many different reasons and if you walk in to dine at 7:15pm, they’re looking at you crazy or May tell you that you can only order takeout. I wish they’d just change the times!“

“This small restaurant is tucked away on Livingston Road by the LSW Liquor Store. Cozy and inviting, the restaurant is a great place to stop by for lunch or dinner. I had the grilled beef fajitas which was hot with beans, salad, and rice. Delicious and very satisfying at a reasonable price. I didn't take a photo but I will add a photo of the menu later. It specializes in Tex-Mex and Salvadorean food. I would highly recommend it. No frills, just good comfort food.“

“Had their signature burrito. It was delicious. Cost was about $10; a couple of days before I paid $15 for a really terrible one from the DC food trucks. My daughter had bubble tea from a different spot in this food court that was also way better and cheaper than food truck. My conclusion is skip the food trucks and head over here and you will do much better.“
