“Discovered this gem and so glad we did.The hubby and I like to try new places at least once or twice a month. You never know what to expect with new places but let me tell you…..Harper’s Waterfront is legit.Went for brunch today. Beware……the portions are PLENTIFUL and you won’t be disappointed. We started with the Fresh Fruit Ice Bowl & Baked Brie. For 2 people…..just order 1 app. We pretty much brought the whole fruit bowl home due to the baked Brie being so amazingly big we couldn’t eat all the fruit.I ordered the Steak & Eggs. The quality of that 12 oz NY Strip….that was cooked to a perfect medium…w/ Eggs & Homefries OMG!!!Hubby ordered the Crab Cake Benedict and I knew it was a winner when his eyes rolled to the back of his head after the 1st bite.AGAIN….portions are phenomenal! We each brought half our entrees home. Definitely add Harper’s Waterfront to your list of places to visit. You won’t regret it. Can’t wait to go for dinner.“

“I recently had the pleasure of discovering a local Chesapeake seafood haven that has quickly become my go-to spot for the freshest and most delicious steamed crabs in town. This hidden gem not only delivers on taste but also boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes every visit a delightful experience. From the moment I called to inquire about their offerings, the staff at this charming seafood place exhibited a level of friendliness and professionalism that immediately set them apart. They were patient and helpful, answering all my questions about their menu and ensuring I felt confident in my choices. The genuine warmth in their voices made me even more eager to give them a try. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the steamed crabs. Oh, what a treat! The crabs were not only impeccably fresh but also boasted a delightful sweetness that can only be attributed to their quality sourcing. What pleasantly surprised me was the reasonable pricing for such high-quality seafood. It's evident that this locally-owned establishment values its customers by offering a combination of top-notch freshness and affordability—a rare find in the world of seafood dining. However, it's not just about the crabs; it's about the people behind the counter. The staff at this seafood haven went above and beyond to ensure my experience was nothing short of exceptional. In conclusion, if you're a seafood enthusiast or just someone looking for a welcoming place with phenomenal steamed crabs, look no further. This locally-owned Chesapeake seafood spot has won me over with their outstanding service, delectable crabs, and a commitment to providing an all-around enjoyable experience. I can't recommend it enough!“

“My wife eat out a lot and I have been to the crab shack about five or six times now. And pretty much every time we’ve gone the food has been pretty good. Sometimes it’s a hit and miss with certain things and sometimes some things are spot on all the time. This review is based on our last two visits. Crabs, of course are their number one thing… But this is based on other things we’ve gotten on our past two visits. On our first visit We ordered fish and oysters, and shrimp tacos. They were all very good except for the fish. A little overdone and you couldn’t even flake it with a fork and It was pretty tough. My wife got steamed oysters while I had gotten raw. The steamed were OK, not much flavor, and they were shrunk down a bit compared to my raw oysters. So we ordered another batch of raw oysters since she liked mine better than hers lol! Tacos spot on with banging flavor, I could eat them all day!On her second visit, we were a little disappointed. The oysters were great they were raw and as they should be fresh with no smell and pretty much melt in your mouth. However, besides that came with it were supposed to be corn and french fries. All you can eat. They didn’t have corn, and they shouldn’t have it on the menu because that’s what I was expecting to get until they told us it wasn’t in season. The other problem was that night only one person was running around doing everything. We didn’t get an all you can eat anything. The worst of it was the french fries. I’m a burger and fries guy and I love a good french fries. They need to be crispy, light, airy, crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside. These were heavy, oily, very greasy as if they were just soap and oil. I think that the fryer was not hot enough. I’ve made french fries at home and even when my french fries didn’t turn out as expected, they were still better than these. We did order a second batch just in case it’s better than the first. It wasn’t maybe a little less oily, but still felt like it was soaked in oil. Sad because I really was hoping these spies were gonna be good. Maybe next time! One thing I’ve learned about restaurants and eating out is that sometimes depending on who’s cooking or depending on how your food turns out. One night might be a bad night. Another night might be a good night, but you definitely don’t want reviews that are spotty you want them to consistent the fries should be cooked perfectly all the time then there would be no complaints. Haven’t said that, the next time I have some fries, I will definitely change my review as long as they are spot on and cooked perfectly. So my final words are, a great joint most of the time. They’ll go out in beyond for making you something that might not be on the menu. And they do turn out better than decent free most of the time. But, as the saying goes, if you don’t let someone know, something is wrong, how will they know to fix it? Have a good day.“

“I love finding myself in new spots and being happy with everything. I celebrated a wedding anniversary here, and we didn't want a fancy place but wanted quality food, and Yellowfin fits that bill. Right on the water, it gave a romantic ambiance. Service was 10/10. I wouldn't say I like it when I forget to write down our server name, but she was attentive and informative when asked questions and suggestions, which, by the way, we're spot on. We decided to try things we usually don't go for, and boy, oh boy, did it pay off! The oysters Rockefeller Chesapeake style were delicious! I am very picky about the cream of crab, and it was full of meat; you could taste the cherry, and very flavorful. The meals were equally well-seasoned and had nice portions. The lamb chops came with 6 chops; I haven't been served that many before. I added a crab cake to my meal. It wasn't the best I have had, but it was good and meaty. In all, it was an excellent experience.“

“Best crabs in Maryland when local crabs are in season! Louisiana crabs are good but there not MD crabs. There good for off season if you want crabs! The prime rib is good as well if you don't want seafood.Parking: No problem with parking unless they have a band playing“
