“Quick backstory: I flew my little sister and mom on their first trip to the U.S. a year ago over Christmas. She had her first chicken sandwich, loved it, and would be on the lookout saying “Pop-eyes” in her accent whenever we passed one. It became a super cute running joke. I stopped at this franchise on a whim to see if I could acquire some Popeye’s gear for to bring on my visit to Chile this past Christmas. The owner was very kind and went above and beyond. “We were thrilled to eat at Nando's today. We have eaten it before in London.and.it never disappoints. We had the chicken and rice with medium spice sauce! Everything hit the spot. Service.was very good.and.the manager.went out of her way to be very attentive.to everyone in the restaurant.“
“A must if you're craving Peruvian chicken. It was my first time at the physical location - I've gotten delivery from here so many times, it's probably embarrassing but there's nothing I love more than peruvian chicken. The location is hard to get to by car - it's by the PowerPlant in inner harbor so parking is tricky. The store itself is huge - and the best part about going in person is their sauce station - when you get delivery they charge you per small container of their amazing aioli and green salsa - but not in person, they have lot of little containers and you can fill as many cups as you want for your salsa, and I'm a saucy girl. I got the half chicken (white and dark meat and their plantains and yucca. It was a dark cold day and there were a lot of people coming in and out, it's a popular spot for sure. The staff is fast and efficient, not the best at answering any questions you have but it's the place you come when you know exactly what you're getting.“
“Nice spot for delicious chicken in Towson located next to the movie theater. I enjoyed the 12 Peri-Peri wings with the medium sauce on them. If you like hot, they have some available for you. My two sides were garlic bread and salad. The garlic bread was so good I ordered additional. My roommate had the chicken sandwich with french fries. Both the mango and pineapple lemonade are delicious. The only issue I ran into was the QR code ordering system from the table. My roommate received and finished her meal before mine was even prepared because they missed it. Allow costumers to order at the register again.“
“The best chicken in town!!! Seriously you have to try this place out! Their sides are typical but you get a lot for your money. Fried plantains are superb! Tres Leche cake slices are yummy! I absolutely rave about this place to my coworkers all the time“
“Wow!! Simply put amazing! The chicken tender and chicken sandwich old bay seasoning is juicy and delicious. Melt in your mouth goodness. I got the tender, slider, and curly fries very reasonable priced. I definitively with be back to try out the others on the menu.“
“The food is on par with fastfood, sub joints, and chicken shacks. It's not the best but it's far from the worst. The location is the worst thing about it. The people that hang out around that place makes the food not worth it. The people who work there are amazing tho. Friendly, personable, kind, accommodating...“
“'ve heard about Ny fried chicken restaurant and this particular day I decided to stop in and order some food. Well I must tell you...I ordered the whiting fish and was not disappointed. It was delicious. Nice sized pieces. Seasoned well and fried crispy not greasy. Ny fried chicken has a new customer. YUM YUM! :)“
“Yes this is a gas station and the chicken was good! I usually go to the one in DC but found this one on Yelp which I'm glad I did, much closer. We had to wait about 25mins for our order of 16 mix pieces and a large shoestring French fries. The wait wasn't long for us to receive fresh hot chicken. The cook even threw in 3 extra pieces since we waited patiently. Wish they had a chair or two for you to sit and wait but otherwise it was a normal gas station experience. I did look around and and the prices were a bit higher than normal but I take it's due to the location. People will pay because it's all they have.“
“I see these restaurants all the time but couldn't get past the name, so I never stopped.....Well - today I did and they definitely exceeded my expectations. This is a chain restaurant and the menu is very diverse. There is fried fish and fried chicken (of course), but you can also find lamb or chicken over rice, other options like greek pita or kabob, and desserts! I found so many options that I didn't know what to try.There is plenty of parking and there was security inside and staff cleaning the grounds and the floors. I felt like I would give it a try.I was also happy they carry Everfresh....Prices were steep and the staff wasn't friendly but not extremely rude.I ordered the catfish meal and it was about $11, everfresh drink $2.50, and a sweet potato pie just because....I decided to try the greens too just because I love greens and cabbage (no cabbage on the menu). Side of greens was a little over $4.00.You do the math....was it worth it???? Everything was cooked fresh (except greens and coleslaw). The fish and fries was sprinkled with something white (tasted ok...although they could have sprinkled mine with a little more seasoning).I would go again.....I liked they had bread on the bottom and a side of coke slaw. Made the price make a little bit more sense. The portion was a nice size. I ordered too much. The greens didn't have meat but a red tomato and pepper (very spicy - not my thing - note to self: no greens next time).“
“We lived in the area when this restaurant opened several years ago. We’ve since moved, but wanted to see if an old favorite was still in business. We rode over on a Sunday afternoon and were pleased to see this business still going strong. My daughter ordered a fried chicken dinner with collard greens and yams. I got the j*** chicken dinner….oh my goodness! It was so delicious…the cabbage was on point, the yams seasoned just right..not too sweet and you can taste the spices..the greens …so good..both the fried chicken and j*** chicken was yummy. I did not realize how much I missed this food until today! We will definitely put this place back on our rotation…thank you for the great food and service.“
