“We had our wedding here. Island View Waterfront Cafe was everything we envisioned for our wedding!! It had that backyard wedding feel with GORGEOUS waterfront views! Jess was absolutely amazing to work with and her love for weddings and desire for you to have your dream day is evident after working with her. She is a great communicator and was a huge help during the different planning stages of our wedding. During our rehearsal and on the day of I came to her with all the questions and she had already had the answers and plans for those worked out and she is a HUGE reason why our day went so smoothly! We love and Cherish being an Island View Couple!!Some cool perks: flexibility to pick our own vendors; chairs and tables were included in the rental; we rented out the the evening before for our rehearsal and hosted an informal pizza party as we were setting up and organizing all the decor which made everything so much easier; you get to work with Jess and I can't say enough good things about her!!“
“This place is a gem! Crap dip is AMAZING!! With a selection of crackers, bread, or celery!!Service was excellent! We walked in and were immediately greeted by a server with a smile! Seated ourselves and again, immediately another worker brought menus, silverware, and placemats. Within 2 minutes our server asked if we would like drinks!! Drinks were ordered and she came back almost immediately with our drinks and asked for our order. I ordered the crab cake, cole slaw and stewed tomatoes-hubby had stuffed lobster with shrimp. Crab cake was jumbo lump which was very tasty! Maybe a bit too much filler, but it did have excellent flavor! The stuffed lobster had to go back as it was undercooked. Regardless, when it did it was amazing as well!Hubby's meal came with another full loaf of bread, so we took that with us. It must be homemade, as it is some of the freshest bread ever! Pillowy soft! You must check out this place! It will definitely be on our return list!!“
“Great food and views!****UPDATE - has been under new management for a couple of years and they have not been able to keep up with what the previous owners achieved. It’s a great waterfront spot for a tiki bar and Sandy outside area - which they have. The food and drinks have gone downhill in the last few years since my first review.Vegetarian options: They have salads on the menu. If you are not pescatarian then you will be disappointed unless French fries are what you’re looking for.Parking: Parking is weird. There are a handful of spots near the restaurant and down the hill. The main/overflow parking is about 750ft from the restaurant at a marina.Kid-friendliness: Kids can play in the sand outside. But the vibe is much more adult and that of a bar, not a family restaurant. It’s a day drinking spot for sure. Lots of boaters.Wheelchair accessibility: The outside area is definitely wheelchair accessible. The restaurant is ground floor but the entrance at the front is small and has a couple of tighter turns and one step up.“
“My first visit to Charly’s. Definitely not my last! Our server Victoria was wonderful! She was helpful with the menu and directed me to their spicy margarita which was perfect. It's a really nice place with great outdoor space. I'll be definitely be back because I want to enjoy their outdoors seating and fire pit.“
“The food is delicious I got the crab trap which is a fried tortilla bowl with corn, tater totts & 1 of the best crabcakes ever with their crabby sauce over top. Photo is of the crabcake sandwich its basically all crab barely any binder it's so good. The service was fast a very friendly group. It got crazy busy for a Tues so obviously a popular spot. The only critique I have is the restroom stalls are pretty small.Parking: The layout of the parking area is a little tricky as it's shared with another business.“
“I’ve been getting crabs from them for years. I use to call Jim and tell him I was coming from Howard County and he would wait for me if it was close to closing. Jim was the sweetest man, and I’m glad that the family has continued to provide great crabs. My family comes from NY and NJ to have their crabs!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️“
“Nice place for oyster lover, and one of the best crab cakes I have ever had. Visited in mid Jan and they have a great selection of oysters. My friend enjoyed the different flavor profile of oysters. Clams are great option for people less into oyster. Also ordered the crispy point Judith Calamari, New England lobster roll, and cast iron crab cake.My favorite about these dishes is the crab cake, it was nicely seared which added the great texture and crunch, but it is juicy and meaty inside. At the time I had it, it was served with potato and sweet potato puree on the side. Decently big portion. The sauce is rich and creamy with some tagines which pairs well with the crab cake. The Lobster roll is alright, the but is very buttery which can get a be heavy, the lobster roll is served warm, the lobster meat is simple but good quality. It was served with fires sprinkled with old bay.The crispy point Judith Calamari was a bit disappointing; it was nice that it is seasoned with minced pepper which added some heat. However, this dish is very heavy and oily, especially when oil collect at the bottom of the plate.“
“Angel‘S’s is one of the worst seafood places to get crabs do not go to Angel‘S’s. They sell you baby crabs for large crabs that’s not how you do business. Drove out of town to get nice size crabs, and this idiot gave me baby crabs do not go to Angel‘S’s..“
“The service and food was absolutely amazing! I drove in from Buffalo NY to watch the ravens beat chiefs. While that didn’t happen the one bright spot was deciding to give Angie’s a try. The food was absolutely amazing! The crab dip, the crab cakes, my 16oz ribeye smothered in the most perfectly cooked scallops, shrimp, fresh crab meat. It was phenomenal. I can’t remember his name but the guy waiter we had as well was a cool guy. He walked around when he had a minute and had conversations with all the customers so I left an extra tip. Next season when I’m back in town I will be paying them a visit again!“
“Visited this location after getting great news from Johns Hopkins. I've been to many locations nationally and felt it was a safe bet to be "the" place to have a celebratory meal after a long ordeal. I was right, but it actually exceeded my expectations! Food was excellent and the service even better! Our server was Ilana and she was by far the best attentive and personable server I've ever had the pleasure of meeting (if you come here; request her!). I'll most certainly come here again should I visit Baltimore again.“
“Amazing dinner yesterday, I had the Squid Ink Pasta and Caesar salad. It taste really good and the quality was really great. Nice food portions and excellent quality of food. I also had some drinks. The cocktails were awesome and so refreshing. Menu was excellent and they have great portions too. Nice setting and pleasant ambiance.“
“We've been going to Lib's for years. They have always maintained a good atmosphere. All of the wait staff is friendly and courteous. Every patron is treated with respect and patience. The food is great and the prices are wonderfully matched to the portion size. The managerial staff checks on customers to insure that there are no issues whatsoever. All of this customer service feels unscripted and not forced behavior. That really means a lot. It shows on all of the employees faces that they indeed enjoy having you as a guest! We were fortunate this time to have Elizabeth as our waitress and she was fantastic! I must also mention the young african american man who was shucking the oysters, he was so courteous and you could see the pride and professionalism in his work! Great job to your entire staff for a job well done....AGAIN“
“Everyone from our waiter Ethan, to the hostess, person bringing our food and "grating our cheese", to the person who walked by and brought our boxes... everyone was so kind, friendly and attentive. By far the best visit yet!!!Kid-friendliness: Son loves the penne Mac and cheese“

“Fran was our wonderful waitress. The staff were also pleasant when making reservations. Koco's is a great restaurant to meet up with great friends and enjoy perfectly prepared crab cakes. The Crab dip was delicious, too. ? For my 1st visit, I give Koco's an A+.“
“Great spot for laid back water front dining. Sit in the back- over the water- great view!Wide variety of items on the menu including seafood, fish, mexican options, salads, burgers. Crab dip was pretty good..needed more Old Bay. Nachos needed fresh cheese and pico vs tiny cup of jarred salsa. The half and half crab soup was amazing!(1/2 cream of crab1/2 MD crab) Also the spicy shrimp and mussels were great! Live music on the weekends- great service!“
“Service and Food are amazing. If you are ever in Baltimore Inner Harbor, visit Phillips Seafood. Ask for Keisha’s station, she is amazing, after a stressful day, she truly made the evening so pleasant with her calmness and always making sure you have enough to drink. The food is amazing, when I will be back this restaurant will be on my list again, and definitely in Keisha’s station.“
“Food was delicious but menu is small (-1 star for food) especially if you aren't big into seafood (consider for larger parties). We had a party of 20 which requires a per-pwraon minimum of $80 and a paid deposit. This irked me (-1 star for service). When we were there tho, tho waitstaff were 10/10 excellent. And the atmosphere was perfect. A bit more pricey than the atmosphere commands but not by too much. Would recommend for sure.side note: it's a long walk down the pier. If you take an Uber it's ok for them to go in the gate (pick ups and drop offs are free)“
“This was our first visit, and boy, are we glad we decided to stop here. We were promptly seated and immediately greeted by our server, Keeley (sp?). She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and even offered some suggestions. Keeley was ver friendly and outgoing. Loved having her as our server! Keeley recommended the hush puppies; they were great!Hubby and I both ordered 2 snow crab clusters, which came with corn and potatoes. We loved that we could choose our sauces (or no sauce) and our spiciness level. Our food arrived at our tabke in a timely manner and was hot. We opened up those steamer bags, and the tantalizing aroma was a delight. The crab legs, corn, and potatoes were cooked perfectly! Yummmmmm! What an enjoyable dinner. We will definitely be back!“
“Love them. very good seafood and oysters but the last several times I haven't been able to sit out on the outside deck when it was clearly open. Also our drinks the other day were very weak. That's the first time ever. For the amount of money that we spend on drinks, they should have more alcohol. overall they're great!“
“Great panoramic views here to go with some scrumptious cocktails. Staff was personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Appetizers and entrees were what one would expect for the price and nicely presented. Mushroom soup appetizer and the lobster with squid ink pasta entree, along with the seabass, were underwhelming. The ricotta appetizer, along with duck and short ribs entrees was delicious.“
“We had a large dinner party at Gunther and Co and the consensus of the group was that we would all be back. The food was so delicious! Even the simple dishes were done so well. We ordered the pork chop and the halibut, but everyone got something different. The apps and cocktails were also well crafted and delicious. And our server took our app and dinner orders at the same time to make sure everything came out in a timely manner. There was a never a moment where we were wondering where the food was. She was knowledgeable about the dishes and the drinks and was so kind. This place was immaculate from start to finish and we can’t wait to go back!“
“First timer! Easy reservation process. Wasn't crowded at all. The crab egg rolls were very good. As well as the wings. I didn't order any drinks. I did, however, order the gumbo. To me, it was too salty and not enough rice. The entrée was plentiful. I had enough to take home. Super friendly staff that served my table. Food came out extremely fast. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. Parking can be sketchy but the restaurant was worth it. I'd go back to try another entrée and get some drinks.“
“Excellent authentic Peruvian cuisine. Family owned & run. Located in the old Baldwins restaurant adjacent to Rita's Ice Cream. The Causa de Pollo was extraordinary with a kick of lime in the chicken salad. Enough for 2. The family half chicken [white meat] filled the plate with two pieces of chicken, inches high. The herbs made the chicken taste wonderful. We took some home. Tres Leches for dessert was the best I ever had in Cuban, Spanish, or Portuguese restaurants. More than enough for 2. We were guided through all this by an expert & welcoming Enrique. He's an institution! This is a brilliant restaurant for a Peruvian atmosphere, throbbing music, & magnificent Peruvian food.“
“Baltimore is Little Italy has a new bright shining star! Recently purchased by a young chef from Sardinia Italy, La Tavola, fresh new dishes and exciting menu. Native dishes from Sardinia like cuguliones And others highlight the attention to detail in their exciting new kitchen! I highly recommend this restaurant for their excellent food and remarkable service. Ron don’t walk to La Tavola.“
“This is by far the best chicken and fish place in Baltimore. The fastest selling item is the macaroni and cheese. People are coming in and ordering just macaroni and cheese sometimes and they're ordering extra on the side with their meal. And the cabbage is to die for oh my god I don't know what he puts in the cabbage but it's great. If you're looking for a place to get some good soul food this is it!“
“First I want to say this is my first time ordering from here. So I just want to say based off the presentation I just knew the food was going to be good ? 10/10 for the presentation. Now the food it self was so good i forgot to take a picture. The jumbo crab cake was the best one I have ever had. And the chef’s special sauce is to die for. Omg. The lamp chops were delicious it’s was my first time eating lamp chops so I was a bit nervous but whew chef rock has me sold I will be returning to order more from him“
“Where to start with this gem?! First off....everything from the moment we stepped in the front door was on point. Host knew our name and had reserved table ready and waiting. Great intimate atmosphere in both bar and dining room. Cocktails were excellent....best Manhattan on this trip thus far. Menu is manageable and clearly based on fresh, in season components. From the Susan's Shrimp appetizer...to the Maryland Crab Soup, perfect starters. Then an entree of Maryland crab cakes with roasted Brussel sprouts and slaw, accompanied by in house tartar, well played pairing. The other “off menu” entree offering was pan grilled red snapper topped with lump crab and velvety beure blanc sauce with roasted root vegetables.....heaven! Finished off with a house grand marnier creme brûlée....NO words! Chef Akbar has outdone himself and still takes the time to check on his patrons table-side should you request, as I did. Do yourself a favor and book dinner here!!! #cheers“
“A fantastic find! We wandered in on a Thursday night without a reservation and were seated promptly. The food arrived quickly and was quite delicious. Our waiter Raphael was very attentive and a pleasant conversationalist. We enjoyed the stuffed calamari, Dover sole, and lobster pasta. All were very delicious. I elected to filet the Sole myself, but please note that it does come bone-in. The stuffed calamari is not the little calamari bites, but is the size of a chicken breast. The lobster pasta is very fresh, and the sauce has a sweet acidity that is to die for. Will return again!“
“At a tagliata, I recommend trying the classic Tagliata di Manzo, which is thinly sliced grilled beef typically served with arugula, cherry tomatoes, and Parmesan shavings. It's a delicious and flavorful choice that showcases the quality of the meat. Enjoy your meal!“
“I love the homely feel of the restaurant and the service was excellent. The french fries were on point and the blacked chicken sandwich was ok. The crabcakes were too salty and not enough flavor. The macaroni was good but a tad too sweet for my taste. I also got wine but was given to me in a plastic cup. That's a first. A glass would have been nice. Overall we enjoyed our visit and would return but will try something else.“
“One of my grandmother favorite places to get crab cakes so we took her for mother's day.i didn particularly like that they had a limited menu for mother's day but as always the crab cakes we're goodParking: Large parking lotWheelchair accessibility: Ramp entrance & stairs with ramp option“
“Had a 70th birthday celebration for my wife there on March 30, 2024 with just under 40 people attending. Staff there was absolutely first class. The waitress Tianna handled us like an experienced professional. Food came out in a timely manner and was prepared perfect. They also allowed us to decorate prior to start of event. I love to see black owned businesses ran right with a good attitude staff. They are rare but this is one of them. I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely consider them in the future.“
“First time & I’m hooked! The Jerk chicken & rice lunch special was amazing, great smoky flavor and plenty of zip - but not too spicy. And at a reasonable price. No offense to the green & yellow sub franchise, but I’m walking next door from now on!“
“I was in town from the West Coast on a girl’s trip for my friend’s birthday and I came here, alone on a Saturday night after 10 pm and the main dining room was closed. Fortunately, I was able to go upstairs to the bar area and it did not disappoint. The full menu was available and I was able to enjoy their fresh cold sampler with Oysters, Clams and Jumbo Shrimp cocktail. When I tell you that was the FRESHEST, most DELICIOUS raw seafood I’ve ever had… I swear, I devoured the entire platter! But… let me just say this… CRAB. DIP. So creamy, cheesy, seasoned and the crab had the perfect sweetness. It was amazing! The bread paired with it was also amazing as a companion and even by itself.Service was exceptional. My drinks were stiff and reasonably priced. Plus a live DJ was there playing all kinds of good music (Hip Hop and R&B) from the early 2000’s. It took me back to being young in my 20’s. I had a great time. I will definitely hit Jimmy’s again the next I’m back in the DMV.“
“My favorite restaurant in baltimore. Used to be g&m seafood near the airport. That is when I was first introduced to high-quality delicious crab cakes with hardly any filling at all. However, the last few times I went there the crab cakes were kind of dry as if they've been prepared earlier and just warmed up for serving. My nephew introduced me to Papa's restaurant. Their crab cakes are just the way I remember those being from g&m. Passing through Baltimore this time I found a different Pappas location that was closer to my hotel. I tried them and yes their crab cakes were fantastic as before. Plus they give you quiet amount of food with that crab cake. I was extremely satisfied.“
“The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Now, onto the food - each dish was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were balanced, and every bite was a delight to the senses.“
“The fresh oysters are always so delicious whenever I get them which is every time I go there lol. Haven’t been there for brunch yet so it was nice to try a different menu for a change. Always a great atmosphere and a great attitude on pretty much all of the staff. The only issue I had was we were sitting in the front seating area when you first walk in the place and there were two waitresses going back and forth with the area I was seated in and looked like one of them was going upstairs here and there too. For the two other couples that were seated around myself in that little front area the amount of times we were checked on was under par in my opinion to a point that I had to get up and remove my tray that the oysters were on to make room on the table and to also get napkins that we never got. It isn’t the end of the world and I didn’t mind it either since I’m a young man myself, but from someone who works in the customer service industry it could be better in my opinion. Other than that I never have had and highly doubt I ever will have a bad experience at Mama’s On The Half Shell. The Staff is so awesome and welcoming, the food is always fresh and delicious, and it’s a place with a comforting and fun vibe along with that tavern setting too. I hope if your visiting The Baltimore waterfront you go check out Not only Mama’s On The Half Shell but also Canton Square.Parking: Parking is hit or miss in Canton Square on a not busy day so just be patient with finding available parking if there is a special event going on. I was lucky to find something close, but it can become a bit of a hassle. This is not in any way Mama’s On The Half Shell fault by any means at least in my opinion just to clarify.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that leads into the restaurant once you go through the front door. And some seating for someone with a handicap or in a wheelchair.“
“We made reservations online in advance for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled by our experience! From the professional, friendly staff to the cozy, small bistro atmosphere down to the excellent food and cocktails - we really enjoyed our experience and will be back!“
“Very Delicious, Service Was Awesome, But Way To Freaking Expensive for A North Point Area Restaurant, 155$ for 3 people to EAT ,it's Not A Hibachi place No Entertainment or anything Fancy , Don't get me Wrong It was Top Notch , But WAY To Much Money.“
“What a great experience with amazingly fresh foods we had at Sal and Son's Seafood. Everything is so fresh, delicious, and exceptional! Owner and employees are very friendly as well! We came here twice during our short trip, and it made our experience in Maryland extra special . Highly recommend!!“
“We really like the pizza and salads from Angelino's. The one thing I don't like about this restaurant is that it is not accessible to anyone who cannot walk on steps. This is why I gave the atmosphere only 2 stars. I don't like to frequent businesses which are not accessible to all. So I only order from here very infrequently because of that.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly. Not accessible unless you can navigate stairs. No ramp. Has steps to enter.“
“I came here last week to pick up some food for me and my mom so I don't have to cook all the time. I got the spinach and brie quiche, the Italian roasted vegetables, and the core slaw. Everything was so delicious and fresh! I would like to see more info on the food packaging such as ingredients and nutrients. Also, I tried to microwave the containers-- not a great idea! Lol. Also, would love to see some low sodium options. I will be back to see what Lovejoy's has every couple of weeks when I need a break from cooking again. Thanks, Lovejoy on Harford Road in Parkville, I will be back!“
“Stumbled upon this place and I was so happy we stopped in!! Had fried shrimp platter, my mom had lake trout platter, and we took home crabs on the $2 crab special (bought 10). All of it was amazing. Take home crabs were fantastic. Will definitely stop in again when I'm in Baltimore. Everyone there was so nice.“
“Draven is the BEST server they have that is why in gave this place 5 stars. In my experience he is the only server that brings the food out hot. Handsdown he is their star server. Let me not forgot the bus guy... he is like a flash lighting you get up table clean covered and ready to take the next customer. I do not his name he young, African American dedicated to his job and shows extreme pride in what he does!!“
“Food was great and the atmosphere made the night even more enjoyable. Expect to spend a lot but in my experience, the food was worth it. Our waitress did NOT provide us with 18% worth of gratuity (But policy gave it to her automatically). In fact, her service was sub standard. We have had much MUCH better service at our local diner back home. Other then her, everyone else was pleasent and attentive, and if it wasn't for that, our waitress alone wouldve reduced the stars from 4 to 3.“
“I do but don’t want people to know how good this spot is. Heard about it from people at the Muay Thai/bjj gym right around the corner that they were good- holy sht they weren’t kidding.Open late-hot-cheap-perfectly fried chicken and fish. Cheesecake is delicious. This is the new spot.“
“Perfect family spot ?? ? Ive only been for breakfast, but I tear up the Alice's Cream Chipped Beef on biscuits that are still soft like a cloud. Omg and it's always busy but never takes too long to be seated or served. Also, FULL BAR?!?!?“
“Andrew, the manager, really made my client feel special, celebrating the recent sale of his property. Client was impressed with the customized menu acknowledging the closing. Food was superb, as always. We had the charred Octopus and braised lamb chops as appetizers and the stuffed lobster with crabmeat and the red snapper as entrees/ both delicious / the service was equally outstanding and assisted in making our dining experience very memorable“
“Excellent food and service. I will definitely go back here to try the other dishes. Really nice and quiet neighborhood. The chicken wings are really good. I like the old bay honey flavor. The mussels are fresh and delicious. It has a hint of spicy sausage. The shrimp taco was really good too. Everything we had was surprisingly really good.“
