“I recently planned a wedding reception at Dauphine's and it was incredible. The food, atmosphere and service was impeccable. The bride and groom were well taken care of, Courtney and Natalie were so easy to work with, communicative and really worked to listen to the couple's needs. It was such a fun, unique and beautiful space for a reception and provided numerous spaces to meet guest needs. The food was delicious and the staff were always on top of everything. I cannot recommend Dauphine's enough and cannot wait to go back for a delicious meal or an event!“

“I’d recommend this place just based on the food itself. I had calamari and a regular lobster roll with sweet potato fries and it was delicious!But the staff is what made Georgetown Seafood special. Right when we walked in (out of a huge rainstorm), a staff member put a towel by the door for us to place our umbrellas on while another staff member immediately found us a table to seat our big group. They took the time to make us feel like VIPs, even down to the extra treats they offered to us after our meal!The place is small, has steep/narrow stairs to the upper level (where the bathroom is located), but even with that I would 100% eat here again and again.Thanks Georgetown Seafood for a wonderful experience!!“

“Our visit to Joe's Seafood restaurant and lists out a few problems we encountered during the visit. First, the bartender, Mattie, was rude in telling me and my girlfriend we couldn't stand at the bar, it's not what she said it's HOW she said it, which made us feel disrespected. Second, despite arriving on time for the reservation, we had to wait for more than 30 minutes before getting seated on a busy Friday night. Nevertheless, we had a good experience with bartender Lee Ann, who was friendly and made perfect drinks. The maître D, Michael, was professional and friendly and took notice of the earlier issue with Mattie. The waiter, Kevin, and his associate were also friendly and respectful, and Kevin apologized for Mattie's unprofessionalism. Overall, the restaurant received a rating of 9 out of 10.“

“I really enjoyed my experiences at the The Walrus. They have fresh shucked oysters, the Wally's are the house oyster and they were very good. I think I tried every fresh oyster and there were some excellent options that I thoroughly enjoyed. I also had the lobster roll togo and it was loaded with lobsta. They crab cakes were ok, but they are not using fresh local crab meat. The service was fantastic, it's what had me return, a great experience! The great fresh oysters were also a draw for me.“

“A+ for service and atmosphere! The live music/flamenco dancing was vibrant and delightful. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. As for the food, it was a hit or miss. For the tapas, the whisky pork tenderloin with potatoes was cooked well but the sauce had an odd tang to it. It may be an acquired taste and not for everyone. The grilled eggplant was soggier than expected and I don’t think I’ll get it next time. The Serrano ham and manchego cheese appetizer on the other hand, was absolutely scrumptious! The chicken and seafood paella (the reason why we chose this restaurant) was a big let down…the dish was way too salty and I couldn’t fully enjoy it without downing water. The chicken and mussels/clams however, were tender and cooked well. The churros and chocolate dip for dessert were divine.“

“My family and I have eaten at this restaurant twice. The first time was about 7 years ago while on a school trip to the city. That time, we had lunch. It was the BEST burger we’ve ever had. So much so, that we still talk about it to this day. While visiting the city again for the F1 show, we couldn’t resist eating at The Capital Grille again. “Today, we were incredibly fortunate to visit a unique restaurant, Monocle, located on Capitol Hill. We initially chose it due to its proximity to our hotel, but it turned out to be a true "Washingtonian gem." Opened in 1960, this restaurant has been operated by the same family ever since. The menu is concise, which we believe highlights the culinary excellence presented in merely five dishes. We were in search of "authentic American steaks from real American beef from real American cows." What we received far exceeded our expectations. Both steaks we ordered were exquisitely prepared to perfection. We both agreed that these were the best steaks we've ever had the pleasure of eating in our lives. #MasterpieceAs if the meal itself wasn't enough, our server, Marinos Apostolopoulos, provided us with a genuine journey through the history of this establishment. We are deeply grateful!Given its location near the Capitol, the restaurant has been visited by at least half of American politicians over the last 60 years, including Presidents Nixon, Kennedy, Bush, and Clinton. Celebrities like Robert De Niro and Al Pacino, among other incredible individuals, have also frequented this place. The number of VIPs and their dedications displayed in their own photos hanging on every wall is truly astonishing.One of the servers celebrated his 50th work anniversary here two months ago with a surprise party for 250 people, an event that was featured on the front page of the Washington Post, which we had the opportunity to read.The place is beautiful, with incredibly friendly service and excellent food. “Ambiance is an interesting hole in the wall. We begin with the fluffy warm bread. Soft and fresh and distracting from eating. Then the octopus salad. The octopus is just right; a good sear with a bit of smoky taste, cooked through and just right. Mussels: served with a few pieces of chorizo. Not too many to blot out the flavor of the mussels, mind you. The mussels were a bit dry, this one wasn't swimming in liquid like other places so it. Always fall for the liquid, ordering extra bread to dip into it like a weirdo. Grand marnier soufflés were good. Ask about the dog biscuits!“

“Went for the first time yesterday. Food was so good! I had the Dominator. The crab cakes was to die for. Customer Service was awesome and the inside was so clean. Only suggestion I make is signage on outside. You are known for your bright yellow sign but that isn’t what’s on your building. So it was alittle hard to find. I knew you was open from following you on social media and I knew the area because I use to live there but my parents who live walking distance and others wasn’t aware of you. I think having more signage and your bright yellow signs so people traveling on Richmond highways know you there will give you the business you deserve.“

“I came here because the location in Arlington closed and I truly had a taste for my go-to! I ordered food to go and had 2 drinks at the bar with an appetizer.Of course (like every location I've ever been to) the bartender was nice, attentive and communicative. The food was great and the drinks were too. They were out of bitters so I squeezed some lemon and lime and the drink was fine.My only complaint is that after spending a good buck and tipping 25% I got home to find no shrimp in my Mahi Mahi and Shrimp. Very disappointing but I should've checked the bag before leaving so I take responsibility. Bonefish is usually on it though, so it was still a little irritating.Overall, another win for Bonefish. I love how consistent their vibe is no matter which one I go to!“

“Beautiful restaurant overlooking the water, outstanding service, and amazing seafood. I had read some of the reviews that were less than stellar but everything that we ordered was fantastic. We started off with their eggplant appetizer, which was full roasted eggplant -- delicious. For the main entree, I was debating between their grilled calamari and the scallops and the server recommended we share a half portion of the calamari and get the scallops. Great recommendation. The scallops were out of this world and a generous portion too. My wife's fish was delicious as well. No complaints about anything. The prices are a bit on the higher side but it's worth it when the food and the ambiance matches expectations. A definite 5 star for me.“

“Sat the bar on a solo sunday funday. It's on a nice street with street vendors. I came for the food and wasn't disappointed. The she crab soup was very good. Despite not having reservations for the elegant dining section, we were graciously offered a seat at a group of tables in the bar area, further enhancing our initial impression with another 5-star rating.Although I typically shy away from shellfish, I was delighted to find an extensive menu offering a variety of seafood, as well as options from land and scales. This diverse selection easily earns a well-deserved 5-star rating.The ambiance inside the restaurant was truly spectacular, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Our table server went above and beyond, providing samples of the menu items and offering detailed descriptions along with pricing information, earning yet another 5-star rating.Following her recommendations, I decided to try the yellowtail raw fish, mashed potatoes, lobster bisque, and crab fried rice. The meat was sweet and perfectly cooked. Roll was a tad too buttery for my liking.I also got a side of clam chowder, which was really good as well.The place is small and not reccomend for large group dine-in unless you're getting it to go. “I will open with this; GW would be PROUD. The Mount Vernon Restaurant, compared to the thought of what it might be, is nothing short of a quaint and elegant establishment. For a restaurant embedded in a museum one would imagine the many grab and go or poor service options found in many if not all of the DC attractions nearby, but rest assured this is not that. The prices are affordable. The food is delicious. The service is wonderful. My only complaint? I was not expecting the shear amount of food coming my way. The chicken and waffles were simple and astounding. My partner's shrimp and grits were, in her words, "just like ma momma used to whip up!" The cornbread appetizer was fresh. “I came here with a reservation to celebrate my birthday and the experience was well worth it. Getting to the restaurant was within walking distance of my hotel and easy to get to. I was greeted and quickly seated. Kim the server was amazing, they have a pianist in the center of the restaurant who is very good.I had a Large crab cake which came with a creamy sauce as an appetizer. The taste of the crab cake was good, but the sauce really made it stand out.I then had their Maine lobster which you have the option to get with, or without Imperial. The lobster is cooked then the inner-side is removed and stuffed with crab cake and shrimp in addition to the lobster then is placed back into the shell. I thought about adding the sauce that came with my appetizer but was concerned it would take away the seafood flavor and make everything too soggy. Im glad I didnt and just added lemons and the butter that already came with it.Whenever I come back to DC this will be my spot and will look forward to trying out their steaks.“

“The lobster rolls and lobster bisque are DELICIOUS! Quick service and high-quality food that really satisfies that seafood craving. The inside of the restaurant is nice and modern, but doesn't have much seating beyond 5 or so groups, so first come, first serve on those. Well worth the trip!“

“Great restaurant. Very casual and delicious food. Great variety of food. My husband and I enjoy the shrimp tacos, chicken quesadillas, guacamole, salads and drinks! So many other tempting items to try. Didn’t have room for Gifford ice cream. Looking forward to returning.“

“This place was absolutely amazing! I have family from NOLA and have had a hard time finding a place that knows how to make a proper roux for an etouffe, but this place nailed it! I had the Oysters Bayou, and my boyfriend had the Steak Pontchartrain. Both were cooked to perfection. We had made a reservation and even though we were a tad late they promptly sat us, and the staff was amazing & friendly. Definitely come hungry because the portion sizes are huge!“

“This is my 2nd time ordering from this restaurant and spot on. The pizza and burgers are a good portion are tasty, and also Halal if you are wondering. An update to my review as I have ordered the fried chicken with caramelized onion, and it is really good and satisfying.“
