Went for St Patrick's Day Irish menu lunch.... When we arrived at 1:00 p.m. the place was not too busy but for some reason it took a long time for the food to make its way out of the kitchen to us....The beers came out quick enough but the food was really behind; no fault of the waitress the kitchen was just too darn slow today.However the Irish Burger and Ruben sandwich were both good choices...The $7.50 22 oz Guinness wasn't bad either ?
My family is from Buffalo, NY, so we have a thing about chicken wings. We were extremely excited when Anchor Bar opened in Frederick. We have been there a handful of times and are always very impressed. We stopped here on the way back from Harper's Ferry.Our server was Thomas and he was one of the best servers we have ever had.
