“Visited this restaurant first time today. Did not expect much but it is possibly one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Maryland. My wife is Vietnamese and we moved from Houston a few short years ago where there is a large Vietnamese population. We also visit Eden Center in VA from time to time. We know our way around Vietnamese foods. ? We ordered Bún bò Huế and Pho. Both were delicious. Portions were large and had lots of meats. Prices were on par with Texas, which is amazing for MD. We also had Goi Cuon which was very fresh. We had such a good meal that we ordered a Banh Mi to go. We forgot to take pictures of that visit.Pictures added from our 2nd visit, showing Grill Pork and Egg Roll Vermicelli and Seafood Pan Fried Noodles.“
“We have been going to "lucky corner" for many years. They have always had amazing food and nice employees. Now with the new name "Tin corner" again they have amazing food and such caring people. I will forever go to this location.“
“I like to go to hole in the wall places, small businesses. I went on a Thursday afternoon, and it was sadly empty. This made my decision even better because i prefer supporting small businesses. The waitress was super friendly, addressed me with a smile and sat me down with a menu.So I ordered the Vermicelli Lemongrass Pork with a Vietnamese Coffee. The main dish came with pickled carrots, cucumber, onions, bean sprouts and fried onions, and 1 spring roll cut in half. You also get a bowl of their fish sauce to pour into the meal, making it wet, but not soupy, just enough for to mix with the noodles. The main dish was about $17, I thought it was a little high for its location, but the serving can feed 2 people, in my opinion. So don't let that scare you into ordering it.The Coffee was $6, again I thought was high, but Starbucks cost more and this came to me fresh, so the price is justified. She brought it to me still dripping from the press that sits on top of the cup that is filled with carnation milk. Once it stops dripping, just stir it with the milk and then pour over a tall cup of ice. It was delicious! All in all, my food was delicious and filling! My waitress kept checking on me and making sure I was taken care of. I am saddened that the whole time I was sitting there, no one else came in. I do hope it changes! Give them place a shot, I enjoyed my experience!Parking: No front door parking, you have to use shared parking with other businesses, so watch when you cross the road to get to the front door“
“This place has the BEST Pho, food! I have been telling all my friends and family about this place. Though, I do want to share an odd experience we had 2 nights ago. We were a party of 3, all ordered Pho soup and summer rolls. We got our food but had to ask several times for the sprouts and peppers that come with it. After the 3rd request, the waitress said, well we don't always give that because we are running low. WHAT? First, who orders Pho and doesn't expect to get the sprouts? Second, if they were running low, isn't that something she should have disclosed when we ordered? I understand there may be a few people who don't use the condiments, but in that case, ask?! When we said the 4th time we wanted the sprouts etc, she definitely had an attitude. We had to ask multiple times for water, honey for our tea. The service sometimes leaves a little to be desired, and the wait times are not often accurate, but the food is excellent!“
“First time here, will definitely return. Authentic, fantastic food. Pho broth was a dream - balanced, rich and super fresh. Bahn mi sandwich / pork was moist, fresh, and the fixings were thoroughly on point. They make their own mayo/sauce and also they mix their own quatre epices / a basic spice used in Vietnamese cooking that often can be overwhelming. You can see the pride of food, and hospitality. Super clean bathrooms. I also noted frequent and thorough cleaning of restaurant surfaces. Friendly and warm service. Super generous in portions, and most other plates I was eyeing / while inhaling my own, looked delicious. If you travel through Frederick Md make this a must stop by place. We will definitely put this on our must return to, list.“
