“A new spot that we’ve been trying to go here since it opened. Very “Octo” themed and has the decor to go with it. It has a nice bar downstairs with tables in the back. Walk upstairs and you’ll find a quaint room with more tables and a very nice separate bar for private parties or as an additional bar. Everything we tasted was great and the presentation was a delight to the eyes. You have to try the octopus ceviche and the ostrich tartar. The drinks were very tasty as well and everything was adequately priced. We’re going to add this spot to our dinner outing rotation and bring our supper club members. Someone was always available to take an order, clear plates, or come by to check if we needed anything. Food is cooked to order, so.appreciate the brief wait, because they also provide friendly customer service. I usually check Instagram to make sure they are firing up the grill, and they seem to br wrapping things up by 4pm. Tip: add those caramelized onions to your burger! “Upon arrival, we followed the faux grass carpet into a clean and open dining area where the comforting voice of a sports announcer danced with smells of rich spices and tea. We ordered Mushakal (veg. stew) and baba ghanouj to split and were pleasantly surprised to have been offered each our own starter soup and salad, hot tea, and a hefty serving of hummus to match the ghanouj. Staff was warm and pleasant, and made us feel as welcome as bubbles in a bathhouse. Food came quickly and was very reasonably priced. Upon leaving, for a moment I was sure that I was walking on a red carpet as soft as it was well-earned, but as I rubbed my rose tinted eyes, it was clear that I stood upon that same strip of turf, humble as the pale moon. We didn't have a lot of time, I was there with my family for a quick bite before taking my daughter to her swim lesson, and the staff were very considerate. Not only were they kind enough to put my daughter's order in right away while we got ours figured out, but it was a bit after the lunch rush and not too crowded, and they actually changed some of the TVs to a Harry Potter movie for her. Even down to the cookie which another customer suggested them to me and they were good also. We ordered the Apple butter wings that came with garlic parmesan fries and fried Brussels which my wife said everything was so good and tasted great even the wings were big and not some of the typical small wings you get from other places. I also ordered the make your meal deal with 4 wings, collard greens and Mac and cheese all were good and very well seasoned. Customer service was great and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be a repeat customer and try something different the next time we go.
