“Went here with vegan friends and we all had the vegetarian sampler. The food was absolutely scrumptious. The staff were gracious and lovely and the atmosphere was very pleasant with really nice music playing. I highly recommend this restaurant! We'll definitely be coming back!“

“My family and I came here after going to the airplane museum nearby. This restaurant is so cute and very kid friendly. We were sat right away around 11:30 but by the time we were leaving I could see there was a wait. I got the chicken sandwich with fries and it was pretty good. My husband got the club sandwich and said it was great. He ordered corn pudding on the side and we both thought that was the best part of the meal. My kids shared the chicken tenders and they enjoyed it. There is a store attached to the restaurant that has toys , knickknack etc which was fun to walk through afterwards. It's overall a cool spot!“

“Mid-Atlantic has a great selection of fish and seafood, great sides and salads, and an array of desserts. I've had some issues with missing items I paid for when the food is delivered. The manager Marie is always apologetic. I enjoyed the food so much that I usually pick it up instead of delivery.Vegetarian options: Several hot and cold veggie options“

“Olive Garden is as good as you will get for a chain restaurant. We really weren't going there because the food is top tier, we went because it has a great family atmosphere which ends up making the food taste. Little better. The service was superb for our party of 25 and I would definitely come back just for that. Even when we were leaving the manager (or who I thought) was the manager greeted us all goodbye and made sure our service was good during ordering. Just an added touch of care. Thank you for a great family memory and the price isn't bad either.“

She recommended some delicious mocktails and was very enthusiastic about sharing with us her personal favorites as well as restaurants favorites. We settled on the Shrimp and Crab Fritters and Catfish for appetizers, which were good and we ordered two Shrimp and Grits entrees along with the Blackened Salmon! Best Shrimp & Grits of my life! “Just happened to drive by Paradiso and decided to stop for a lite meal. Ordered the New Year's 4-Pork Special 12" pizza with pepperoni, salami, sausage, basil, asiago, and mozzarella cheese, minus the prosciutto (cutting down the salt intake) You can taste the spices in the red sauce. The pizza is not overwhelmed with cheese, but the cheese combination is delicious. The crust was lite and crisp. It was piping hot and stayed relatively hot to warm as we enjoyed this deliciously wood-fired pizza, with nothing left but crumbs. We paired it with the Homebrew award winning Paradiso Dunkelweizen beer, a nice Mellow taste. Great for a non-beer connoisseur. Okay, great corner location with free parking lot next door and street parking. Nice decor with plenty of seating inside with full panel glass doors that open to the patio during the hot summer days. Covered patio seating outside in front and side of building. Bar seating inside and outside as well as a heated tent. This location is handicap accessible. Mon-Tues closed. Wed-Thurs 4-9pm and Fri-Sat 1-9pm. Paid $43 for two drinks and pizza. The staff are welcoming. David our server was very attentive.Will return to sample other items on the menu.Parking: The restaurant is located on a corner next to the neighborhood. You can find parking on the street if none is available in the nearby parking lot.“

“This is a great little place. We were looking for a quick place to get sushi without spending a fortune. Ordered the fried cream cheese wontons (not fantastic but tasty), and two sushi burritos (raging bull and the crouching tiger). Both were excellent and filling. Definitely recommend this place. It is a small place in a strip mall setting.“

The food presentation wasn't bad, the taste was great, the restaurant was very clean with great customer service from the lovely staff. My only issue is that for this small portion, I paid around $22 for seafood fried rice. It felt like a free trial. I have another place that has a similar dish (Shrimp, Crab Salmon Fried Rice) for $25, and let me tell you, it'll last three days max. That's how big of a portion they serve you at that price. It'll also serve two people (depending on how greedy the second person gets. It's me, I'm greedy). I would only go back if they increased the portion, not the price. Overall, it's not bad.“

“My family and I arrived on time to our reservation. The building was buzzing with graduates but the restaurant was not as busy as we thought it might be. However, we viewed that as a good thing; therefore it was intimate. The food was delicious with exceptional service. My family is still talking about the food and plan to visit the restaurant again. I recommend the habanero wings, fried brussel sprouts, and Maryland crab soup (which is literally THE BEST we have ever experienced by far, and that is a feat)! “We have visited La Placita on two occasions, both times on Fridays around 5 in the afternoon, which has left a marked impression on us. One of the things I liked the most was the practically empty environment, which allowed for a calmer and more relaxed experience. In addition, the availability of a parking space was a plus point that I cannot ignore.However, the cashier's service did not fully live up to my expectations. I felt some pressure to order quickly, which can be awkward, especially if it's your first time there and you're not yet familiar with the menu.As for the prices, I consider them to be reasonable and in line with the quantity and quality of the food offered. I especially highlight the excellent flavor of the food, especially the carnitas, which reminded me a lot of the authentic flavor of Mexico. The only downside I found were the tortillas, which in my opinion were a little thick and tended to get tough if not eaten quickly.As for the variety of dishes, both the cakes and the tacos are an excellent option. The portions are generous, which allows you to even take some to enjoy at home.The atmosphere of the place is very pleasant, with careful decoration that contributes to creating a cozy atmosphere. Although we did not have the opportunity to try the desserts, the wide variety available invites us to return to explore more options.In short, I highly recommend this restaurant and I definitely plan to return in the future to continue enjoying its delicious food and pleasant atmosphere.“
