Nicaraguans drink it too but we call it “Jamaica”. The efo riro was great, small portion but great flavor. The suya wings were crispy and flavorful, I prefer flats so that’s the only thing that could have been better. Yeah, I’m doing the hour drive for spice kitchen very soon!!”

“Olive Garden is as good as you will get for a chain restaurant. We really weren't going there because the food is top tier, we went because it has a great family atmosphere which ends up making the food taste. Little better. The service was superb for our party of 25 and I would definitely come back just for that. Even when we were leaving the manager (or who I thought) was the manager greeted us all goodbye and made sure our service was good during ordering. Just an added touch of care. Thank you for a great family memory and the price isn't bad either.”

I'm going back for this sweet potato pancakes....I'm still thinking about them ?. The atmosphere and service were also good.Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian, but a few of my friends are, and that's the reason we chose the restaurant. They have plenty of vegetarian options.”

“The food here is AMAZING. I'm actually glad this place is far from me and on the expensive side because if it was closer and cheaper I'd be eating here constantly. My table got the waygu egg rolls, Mac and cheese, broccolini, Hawaiian steak, jerk crab cakes, and the jerk lollipop chicken. All of it was on point. Drinks are pretty expensive for what you get. That was probably the only disappointment. Music is a little loud for my liking but it is a minor nit in an absolutely amazing experience.”

The Brewery will validate your ticket however the parking is inexpensive $2 -$4. There is also limited street parking!”

My only issue is that for this small portion, I paid around $22 for seafood fried rice. It felt like a free trial. I have another place that has a similar dish (Shrimp, Crab Salmon Fried Rice) for $25, and let me tell you, it'll last three days max. That's how big of a portion they serve you at that price. It'll also serve two people (depending on how greedy the second person gets. It's me, I'm greedy). I would only go back if they increased the portion, not the price. Overall, it's not bad.”

But... the food is great. Just be mindful on busy nights your food may get delivered late, plan accordingly.”

No maitre d to greet you, no hostess to seat you and the place is still in COVID response mode Food was good. Eat in available. And it comes out HOT! Ingredients were fresh. Carrots and celery were crunchy. I got the King Pao chicken which was excellent. Chicken was thinly sliced. Sauce was flavorful and not too hot. Prices are reasonable and an excellent value. If you can pick it up, you win!”

The green sauce is tasty , the red is hot. Plenty of choices for drinks. The tacos were delicious, three is enough though I could have eaten four! If want the real deal authentic tacos this is the place. Two drinks and seven tacos was $32, yes the price sadly is the only thing that has changed.”

“Dibi lampchops and Yassa Chicken have some now!!!! This is one of those classic ethnic hole in the wall restaurants with a very humble small seating area, and very flavorful food. The lamb was cooked perfectly, and sizzles with flavor. They gave us a huge portion of caramelized onions, which you just smother all over the rice and it’s heavenly. The chicken was fantastic on the spicy side, but very tasty. I also had a ginger juice drink that tasted similar to ginger beer. Just a tip they don’t have club soda so you might want to bring some and mix it with that ginger drink and it will be very similar to ginger beer. This is located in a walkable area in Hyattsville (which is a hidden gem). We will be back for sure.”

“I have been coming to this place for a few years. For my South American family's palate, the food is excellent. The problem with the place is that they can't decide if they are a restaurant or a sports bar, and they try to make the place be both. This prevents them from doing one or the other completely well. The music is loud, there are TVs showing sports, it looks dark (it looks darker from outside than it really is because of the tinted windows) and the waitresses dress provocatively even if it is for Sunday breakfast. All of this alienates to potential restaurant customers. And seeing it as a restaurant keeps potential customers away from the bar. Beyond this, the food is very good, the service is very pleasant and the prices are very reasonable--especially in relation to the quality. I will continue to come and bring my family and friends--but during the day.”

Everything has a real home cooked feel. Mashed plantain (mofongo) with onion, beef stew, some type of sliced sausage (I forget the name), brown rice with beans, eggplant in a tomato gravy, creamy white beans as a side, etc. All delicious!! “The food is really good in this little hole in the wall resteraunt. I had the pounded yam and egusi soup. It was a delicious assortment of meats in the soup. Additionally the soup was spiced well. The pounded yam also tasted like it was made with high quality ingredients rather than the powder instant pounded yam you make with boiling water. Now for the not so good. As good as the food is it's hit or miss wether they will have the food available. There have been a few times I've gone there, mouth watering, and ordered some pounded yams and egusi, oxtails, etc only to be told we are out today. My advice is to save yourself the trip and call your order in ahead of time. Which will help mitigate issue number two ...the wait can be very long depending on what's ordered. Most of the times I've been there there were only a handful of customers but the wait time stretched to about 30 minutes+. The food was sooooooo good! Oxtail was fye! Gravy was so delicious. Curry Chicken reminded my hubby of his Nana’s from Trinidad's! Portions were big and it was an overall great lil spot. “Half empty strip mall in view of FedEx field, China Restaurant has a reputation for great food with poor service. No maitre d to greet you, no hostess to seat you and the place is still in COVID response mode Food was good. Eat in available. And it comes out HOT! Ingredients were fresh. Carrots and celery were crunchy. I got the King Pao chicken which was excellent. Chicken was thinly sliced. Sauce was flavorful and not too hot. Prices are reasonable and an excellent value. If you can pick it up, you win!”

Had one of the cake slices with rum and Sugar Vault could give lessons to a lot of bartenders about how to make a drink taste like it is worth it. ;) Looking forward to going back and trying other items.”
“So...I hate to say it, but I went to America's Best once about 4 years ago and never returned. Everyone can't fry chicken well and I make the fried chicken rounds: KFC in Bladensburg, Popeyes on Chillum Rd., Mid-Atlantic Seafood on Queens Chapel. I just got wings from this Crown Fried Chicken. They were tender and juicy with just the right amount of salt. Not too salty. The seasoned fries were great. Bonus--they do not serve pork! Yay! They serve beef and turkey as breakfast meats. I am so glad they are open. The customer service was efficient and respectful. Best to call ahead as there was a 15 minute wait, but it was worth. Hope they will replace the Washington Redskins poster with the Washington Commanders.”

Even when I ordered on the app and specified drive-thru pickup, it took a while for someone to get to me at the drive-thru speaker, then when I pulled up to the window to get my food, they had me pull into the mobile pickup spot and I watched a bunch of cars that came in after me leave one after another. Ended up having to go inside anyway (although I ordered on the app to avoid that) to get my order.”

If want the real deal authentic tacos this is the place. Two drinks and seven tacos was $32, yes the price sadly is the only thing that has changed.”

My table got the waygu egg rolls, Mac and cheese, broccolini, Hawaiian steak, jerk crab cakes, and the jerk lollipop chicken. All of it was on point. Drinks are pretty expensive for what you get. That was probably the only disappointment. Music is a little loud for my liking but it is a minor nit in an absolutely amazing experience.”
