“Great Gluten free cakes! I bought one for my wife and everyone thought it was great. Strawberry and cream. Straight magic! I told them I did not want anything extravagant and they kept it clean and simple. It was a surprise birthday party and my sister picked up the cake. Sarah the Baker is great. I gave them a week and it was not overpriced. They sale cupcakes but save your money. Order the cake! It is moist and magical!!!! (Yes, I am a man who just gave four exclamation points to a cake)“

“I stumbled across Applecores pop up at a Christmas event today and I’m so happy I stopped by and bought a dessert. I got the salted Carmel cheesecake. OMG! Absolutely delicious! It was perfect in every way. Will definitely be purchasing some cheesecake and excited to try their other sweets :-)“

“We were looking for a place to stop to eat on the way home from DC. So happy we found Bon Fresco! We got the London Broil sandwich and the Fresh Mozz and Tomato sandwich. Both were fantastic! We ate them so fast we forgot to take pictures! The bread was perfect. Soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. If we weren't full we could have eaten multiple of each. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast and pleasant. There are plenty of tables to sit down and eat and the ambiance was that of a deli. We loved it! If we are ever back in Columbia, MD we will definitely hit up Bon Fresco again!!“

“Being a Catonsville resident, I’ve stopped into Charlsie’s a few times for small treats, but decided to order a couple of pies for our family’s Thanksgiving this year. The apple streusel pie was delicious and a big hit, but the cranberry pecan- OH. MY. GOSH. Easily one of the best pies I’ve ever tasted and loved even by those who were self-proclaimed “not pecan pie people.” I know where I’ll be getting pies for our holidays from now on!“

“I had no idea what we were in for. What a pleasant surprise! You know it's an exceptional spot when there is a swarm of people continuously going in and out--nonstop. Busy, busy, busy! When you walk in you are serenaded with easy acoustic music and your nose goes in overdrive due to the numerous sweet aromas--chai, espresso, cakes, breads and pastries. The back and right sides are areas deemed for sitting, gathering, studying and...eating! The cash wrap is in the middle section and the items for sale are on the left. There is NO direction or signs on how or what to do when you get in so I figured I'd make my review a bit of a guide: If you're here solely for picking up an order, making a custom order, grabbing a slice of cake or for coffee, you can go straight to the cash wrap. If you are here for pastries (etc.), you'll start on the left. This area is self-serve. Grab a tray, a tray liner and OPEN the little disinfectant oven container to grab a pair of tongs. Brace yourself. You are now ready to turn around into the abyss of desserts. DON'T THINK ABOUT CALORIES. DON'T THINK ABOUT BEING JUDGED FOR ADDING 100 TREATS TO YOUR TRAY. TREAT YO'SELF. Along the wall are breads, coffee beans, and other bagged items. The containers in the middle of the section contains all the freshly made items which you can open yourself and use your tongs to place them on your tray. Each item has a display card that includes ingredients and calorie information. If you want to remember what you selected, take a picture because the packaging is not English. *In addition to the pastries, there are cakes and cake pieces--cake pieces are only available until they last--you MUST try one. Cakes is what Tous Les Jours excels at. The cake section is on the left side of the cash wrap. If you want cake, you'll order it at the cash wrap. I tried the sweet potato pastry (5/5), the melon bread (2/5), strawberry shortcake (2/5), chai tea (3/5), milk crème bread (5/5), strawberry yogurt cake (5/5). It is officially my favorite bakery.“

“I absolutely love this bakery. I found them when we were looking for someone to do gluten free for our wedding. Their service was great and our cake and cupcakes were delicious. They even helped us figure out the design we wanted. Since then we come here regularly for special occasion desserts, or just for a treat.“

“I've bought bread made by the Breadery at other markets, but Friday was the first time I ever made it into the shop. The place is a carb lover's dream. It's one of those spots that invites you to roam and look at the coffee, the olive oil or even a six-pack of local beer. The real star though is the bread of course. Simply put, their sourdough is the best I've ever had. It's a perfectly chewy, slightly salty bread that is perfect for every application. Their cinnamon swirl bread is much loved by the kids at home for its French toast qualities. It's one of those places that makes you want to try everything and makes you realize how awful our store bought, mass produced sandwich bread really is.“

“Nice little shop with the best pastries EVER, and great customer service. I go for the baklava, but today in addition I had a western omelette w/ a slice of tomato, and rice pudding. All deserts are made on sight there is such a large variety. The omelette was amazing & the tomato was good alone! My other half loves their coffee. I will def. Be a returning customer.“

“Excellent matcha cafe with delicious and not too sweet desserts. The service was fast and easy. They have kiosks that you can use to order on your own. It feels as though you've stepped into Kyoto yourself with the decorative design in the cafe. It's quiet if you're looking for a place to study or it's a great gathering for friends. Their milk tea boba cake and matcha twist soft serve are so delicious!“

They carded both of us, made a deal about it, and forgot to make my drink. The person who carded us proceeded to say “you ordered two?” like they didn’t check both of our cards and the receipt said 2. In fact, we watched the person behind the bar make my partner’s drink, 3 more alcoholic drinks, clean up, and put everything away. We stood waiting and staring and trying to call for someone. We ordered to-go… if you see people standing and waiting at the front, and trying to catch someone, doesn’t it mean they’re missing something? I’ll be back for macaroons, but forget getting an overpriced drink that’s made without effort and the most you get is “sorry about that”. “Major props for treating gluten free bread as the half-sized slices they are. This is the first place I've been to that spreads the sandwich contents across two small sandwiches. Every other place either attempts to stuff the insides onto puny slices (rarely) or more likely, simply gives you less. In those places, not only are you paying through the nose for GF bread, but you then get less food for the privilege. NOT SO at Atwater's. “Came here to pick up quick dessert- was greeted with quick and friendly service-there was so much to choose from but I tried our strawberries and cream and carrot cake individual size- at 6.00 dollars each they are affordable but a little pricey- I meant to only eat half and save the second half for the next day but it is that good that you can't stop at half- they are not that big either- I had the carrot cake- was moist and full of flavor and cream cheese frosting was so sweet but not too sweet and luscious I wanted to lick the packaging! son said the strawberry was very yummy too- will be back!“
