“At first we were a little surprised to be eating in a Days Inn -- and Al-Madani is unassuming atmospherically. However, the food was flavorful and delicious (aloo palak, lamb tikka kabobs, garlic naan), and the staff were wonderfully kind and caring. I feel like this is a hidden gem and hope many more people find them and that they get lots of business!”

“This past Thursday (4/25), I went to the restaurant to use my birthday rewards to purchase a meal. Unfortunately, the link to retrieve my reward was not working. However, the cashier was nice enough to notify the manager and the manager gave me a discount after I showed him my email with the rewards information. This showed that the cashier and manager went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer services. And the meal, as always, was great!!!!”

“This was my and my fiancé's first time dining at this restaurant a few nights ago. We made a table reservation via OpenTable for 7:00pm, arrived at 6:50pm, and we were seated right away. From previous reviews I heard I was a good idea to make reservations, so that seems to be accurate from our experience because it was definitely a full house. The food is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it because it was delicious. I enjoyed my appetizer of Fiesta Egg rolls which were definitely cheesy, hot, and full of shredded chicken and lots of flavor. For entrees I got the Prime Rib (medium) which was cooked perfectly with some redskin mashed potatoes 😋 my fiancé got the Eastern Shore style crab cakes which were broiled and very tasty; came with coleslaw and show string french fries. My fiancé enjoyed all of his meal, with the exception of the coleslaw which he did not partake in due to health reasons. I also tried to Elite Margarita which was pretty good but a tad strong on the tequila for my liking, but the lime slice helped to take down some of the bitter alcohol taste for me 🙂👍🏾 The atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing, classy, and dimly lit which we loved because it had a romantic vibe to it. Our server, Olivia, was very friendly and welcoming and was on point making sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be returning again to this location.”

“Me and my friend both went there yesterday and I already knew that the food was going to be fire, because you can never go wrong with a local mom and pop type of restaurant. But even then, the food was better than I expected. The owners were very nice and you could tell that they are passionate about what they do and they don’t skip steps. Definitely recommend going here for the food and good vibes.”

“I’m new to the area and decided to try Flora’s since it was the closest spot. I didn’t expect much, but wow, I was so pleasantly surprised! I had the chance to meet Flora, the owner, and she’s incredibly sweet and welcoming. I ordered the Egwusi, Jollof, and Eru soup, and they were all absolutely delicious. Honestly, I can’t even pick a favorite because each dish was perfect in its own way. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place!”

“They advertise as selling American Chinese food, so they're transparent. The food is ok I've had authentic Chinese food this isn't it. But if you're hungry it'll do. The food is freshly made and is not bad. Honestly the Chinese food all taste the same from restaurant to restaurant. I go there every so often so I would still recommend it.”
