The added 20 percent was a bit confusing but the food was delicious, the staff was amazing and it was a great experience for sure. I definitely didn't expect to spend what we did but it was a once in a lifetime experience for us and it was worth it for sure!”

“The Tide Room at The Shore Beach Club: A Delightful Dining Experience Last evening, we had the pleasure of dining at The Tide Room at The Shore Beach Club in Ocean City, Maryland. Our reservation was for 8:15 PM, and despite potential parking challenges, we found it surprisingly easy to find a spot. The restaurant’s recent remodel is evident as you walk up the stairs into the inviting dining area. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted at the hostess stand and seated immediately. We appreciated the choice between indoor and outdoor seating, and the variety of seating options available, from semi-circle couches to large arrangements for bigger parties. Our server was attentive from the start, quickly providing us with water, drinks, and menus. After a brief look at the menu, we received a thorough rundown of the evening’s specials. The noise level was perfect, allowing for a pleasant conversation, and the open-air setting provided a comfortable breeze. For appetizers, we chose the crab dip and crab deviled eggs. While both were enjoyable, the crab deviled eggs stood out as the better of the two. I also tried a drink called “Lost in the South,” a refreshing blend of lemon and bourbon that became my favorite part of the evening. For the main course, I opted for the boardwalk fries with a crabcake, a dish labeled as an Eastern Shore Maryland specialty. It was served with tartar sauce and met my expectations with its classic flavors. To finish off the meal, we each selected different desserts. The restaurant’s take on the Maryland Smith Island cake, a cookies and cream version, was a delightful surprise and possibly even better than the traditional version. I highly recommend trying it if it’s available. Overall, The Tide Room offers a wonderful dining experience with excellent service, a comfortable atmosphere, and delicious food. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Ocean City.”

“It's always a challenge going out for a bite to eat in OC in the off season as you never know what you are going to get. After reading reviews and looking at menus, I decided to check out Liquid Assets and what a great decision that turned out to be. Walking in alone, I was quickly greeted by Kyle and Joe at the bar and directed to an open seat at the bar. After a brief run down of the drink offerings, I asked for a beer and they recommended a local brew that did not disappoint. Before I had a chance to look at the menu, Kyle brought over a specials menu which was both amazing and overwhelming, and this was just the special menu, as the regular menu pretty much covered every palette imaginable. Interested in the 2 fish options, I asked Kyle for his recommendation and without hesitation, he suggested the Pan Seared Monkfish with which I went and He was not wrong. It came out beautifully presented and was probably the best fish dish I've experienced. Alrhough the fish was cooked perfectly, the star of the dish was how it was presented and everything else it was served with. I went out with an open mind and I was wowed by the experience. Rare do you find stellar staff and 5 star meals but on April 7th, 2025, I did in a town full of less than stellar options. Thanks to locals who care about what they do and who they work for and to Liquid Assets for making OC MD better. cheers.”

My husband is a self-proclaimed veal snob and he said the veal Marsala was absolutely the best he’s had (and he’s had a lot fro over!) I had the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. The pasta was clearly made fresh and cooked perfectly. The bolognese was so flavorful but not heavy. Portions are refreshingly sized appropriately and so completely satisfying. Generally we’re not dessert eaters, mostly due to being overfilled by oversized portions. Ordering dessert from Ristorante Antipasti was a forgone conclusion. I don’t know which was better, the Chocolate Lover’s cake or the Vanilla Butter Cake. Been coming to Ocean City for years and this was our first visit to this restaurant and now tops the list of favorites. Loved everything about it, atmosphere was relaxed but elegant, met the owner who was delightful and appreciative. Highly recommend!!”

“On Monday, August 4th, we had a party of 18 for light fare dining and drinks. Our server, Nikki, was exceptional. Professional, accommodating, super nice and was so efficient. Our food was delivered timely and everyone was pleased with the quality and temperature of the menu items ordered. Not an easy task for such a large party and on a very busy night. My son and his father recently ate here while visiting Ocean City, and after he came back home to St. Mary’s County, we realized his phone had been left behind. He asked for my address and shipped it straight to our home — no charge, no hassle, no questions asked. In a world where good customer service is hard to find, this went above and beyond anything I could have expected. Even though we live hours away, they treated us like locals and family. “we were in town for a music festival and decided to try happy jack. the food was delicious and the service fantastic. even the kids enjoyed it and my kids are picky they asked if we could go to happy jack every time we are in town. we we again the next day and the server remembered us. remembered what we orded and the kids names. Jenny L made the girls day by remembering them and the color straws they wanted. reminded us of our favorite breakfast place at home. delicious food amazing service and great atmosphere. Sahara Cafe is, now, on our “must visit” list! Staff is very friendly and super efficient. The cafe is homey and traditional, reminiscent of restaurants from my youth - that great diner feeling. “We were there on Thursday 12/11/25. We stayed at the inn and walked downstairs to enjoy the festive Christmas atmosphere at the restaurant including music, decorations , and happy diners. We chose the prix fixe menu and both had the autumn spiced pork tenderloin. Everything was perfect including the cook on the pork ( mid rare), candied bacon, broccolini, and the cheddar grits. Each bite was better than the first. We were fortunate to have Jennifer as our server since her insight and recommendations added to the dining experience. Besides that she is just very efficient, knowledgeable, and a very nice person---so happy to have met her! Our first course was the caesar salad (maybe the best we ever had) which was not over dressed--the hidden secret of a good salad. I finished with a creme brulee and my wife had the peanut butter and jelly chocolate cake ( her favorite part was the strawberry ice cream). We each thoroughly enjoyed our tasty desserts. Oh yes, how could I forget, the Figenza mule cocktails---so good. Merry Christmas Peter Shields!”

I dined at the bar where Flip and Megan made our whole experience very enjoyable with their warm and attentive service. They recommended the wood-fired pizza, the Vespa, and a classic glass of Italian red wine. Simply delicious! My brother had the Linguine Fra Diavlo with succulent lobster tail and shrimp. It was outstanding. We finished out the evening with a velvety Tiramisu, and the Bianca Espresso Martini. Julian, the manager, stopped over to chat with us and made us feel like family.”

“Our go-to when in town!! seated quickly. Coffee came quickly and we were not rushed to order. We had a cheese Danish ($3.99) to start. Then "eye opener" w/ meat (2 eggs over, home fries, and a ton of bacon!) $14.99. I had the creamed chip beef w/ home fries $14.99. Both servings of home fries and of bacon were very generous!! Dryden, our server, checked on us regularly and kept our coffee hot and full. Food came fast, hot and well presented. Out total bill, before tax and tip was $40.94 for to full tummies!!!! We took a carry-out box with a muffin, home fries and bacon home!”

“My better half and I walked into what we thought would be a just another diner…but we were greatly surprised! I loved the laidback atmosphere, friendly staff, especially our server, Muhammad. We arrived early enough in the morning so we had plenty of seats to choose from. We shared a golden yolk, avocado toast platter and my better half add a cleansing smoothie. The platter itself was massive as it had four eggs on top of avocado and delicious sourdough bread. What a wonderful place! “On Monday, August 4th, we had a party of 18 for light fare dining and drinks. Our server, Nikki, was exceptional. Professional, accommodating, super nice and was so efficient. Our food was delivered timely and everyone was pleased with the quality and temperature of the menu items ordered. Not an easy task for such a large party and on a very busy night. Drinks orders were also served timely and were delicious. Thank you Thomas, Nikki and staff for a wonderful evening.”

“Our third time there - always great! Our server Monica was terrific. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was a bit expensive but was great! I had two oyster shooters, my wife had a cherry lime aid crush - excellent. I had the scallops and my wife had braised short ribs. All cooked perfectly. We were given a nice choice of tables on the bay. Wife had the mud slide cake for dessert. Very yummy. Hard to find solid places to eat in OC. This one has held up quite well. Will be back again!”

My son and his father recently ate here while visiting Ocean City, and after he came back home to St. Mary’s County, we realized his phone had been left behind. When I called the restaurant, not only did they confirm they had it, but the manager, Johnny, immediately offered to send it back to us. He asked for my address and shipped it straight to our home — no charge, no hassle, no questions asked. In a world where good customer service is hard to find, this went above and beyond anything I could have expected. This level of kindness, honesty, and genuine care for customers is rare, and it speaks volumes about the type of people who run this restaurant. Even though we live hours away, they treated us like locals and family. “So we were on vacation and actually went here an hour before they closed. The food was hot and fresh, good portions. I got the fish tacos and they were so good with a little spice. I also got the mermaid Mojito and that was amazing. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the night air while we ate. Definitely will go back next time we are in Maryland.”

“Delicious Breakfast and Wonderful Hospitality! My family and I were in Ocean City helping a relative move back to Wisconsin, and we stayed at the beautiful Hyatt Oceanview Resort. My daughter and I decided to try a breakfast spot on the Ocean City Boardwalk and found Crepe Daddy — and we’re so glad we did! The food and service were both amazing, but what really made the experience special was meeting Ben, the owner. His kindness, genuine personality, and personal touch made us feel so welcome.
