“The Tide Room at The Shore Beach Club: A Delightful Dining Experience Last evening, we had the pleasure of dining at The Tide Room at The Shore Beach Club in Ocean City, Maryland. Our reservation was for 8:15 PM, and despite potential parking challenges, we found it surprisingly easy to find a spot. The restaurant’s recent remodel is evident as you walk up the stairs into the inviting dining area. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted at the hostess stand and seated immediately. We appreciated the choice between indoor and outdoor seating, and the variety of seating options available, from semi-circle couches to large arrangements for bigger parties. Our server was attentive from the start, quickly providing us with water, drinks, and menus. After a brief look at the menu, we received a thorough rundown of the evening’s specials. The noise level was perfect, allowing for a pleasant conversation, and the open-air setting provided a comfortable breeze. For appetizers, we chose the crab dip and crab deviled eggs. While both were enjoyable, the crab deviled eggs stood out as the better of the two. I also tried a drink called “Lost in the South,” a refreshing blend of lemon and bourbon that became my favorite part of the evening. For the main course, I opted for the boardwalk fries with a crabcake, a dish labeled as an Eastern Shore Maryland specialty. It was served with tartar sauce and met my expectations with its classic flavors. To finish off the meal, we each selected different desserts. The restaurant’s take on the Maryland Smith Island cake, a cookies and cream version, was a delightful surprise and possibly even better than the traditional version. I highly recommend trying it if it’s available. Overall, The Tide Room offers a wonderful dining experience with excellent service, a comfortable atmosphere, and delicious food. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Ocean City.”

“On Monday, August 4th, we had a party of 18 for light fare dining and drinks. Our server, Nikki, was exceptional. Professional, accommodating, super nice and was so efficient. Our food was delivered timely and everyone was pleased with the quality and temperature of the menu items ordered. Not an easy task for such a large party and on a very busy night. Drinks orders were also served timely and were delicious. Thank you Thomas, Nikki and staff for a wonderful evening.”

“Hands down the BEST Italian meal we’ve ever had. We had Mozzarella in Carrozza, so delicious. My husband is a self-proclaimed veal snob and he said the veal Marsala was absolutely the best he’s had (and he’s had a lot fro over!) I had the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. The pasta was clearly made fresh and cooked perfectly. The bolognese was so flavorful but not heavy. Portions are refreshingly sized appropriately and so completely satisfying. Generally we’re not dessert eaters, mostly due to being overfilled by oversized portions. Ordering dessert from Ristorante Antipasti was a forgone conclusion. I don’t know which was better, the Chocolate Lover’s cake or the Vanilla Butter Cake. Been coming to Ocean City for years and this was our first visit to this restaurant and now tops the list of favorites. Loved everything about it, atmosphere was relaxed but elegant, met the owner who was delightful and appreciative. Highly recommend!!”

Sahara Cafe is, now, on our “must visit” list! Staff is very friendly and super efficient. The cafe is homey and traditional, reminiscent of restaurants from my youth - that great diner feeling. Let’s talk about that giant cup o’ Joe… delicious, hot, and the size of a “FRIENDS” cup!! What?! Not having to wait for multiple refills?! That’s right. Not that you’d have to wait because their servers are very attentive and accommodating. Five stars, for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

I cannot express how fresh and amazing each item we got danced around our taste buds. We have decided that this was the best cream of crab soup that we have ever indulged in. And quite possibly this will be our go to restaurant when we come down to Ocean City. This makes an amazing day trip from Dover to have a beautiful meal on the boardwalk overlooking the water. We also had the house salad, a frozen cocktail, and of course, an orange crush! For the price, ambience, quality of food, and excellent service. I feel like our money was well spent this day. (We came back the following week with family. I was bragging about the floating crab meat on the soup. Unfortunately it depends on the chef if you will be treated like this. I just wanted to set up proper expectations in case you do not get the same chef.)”

“Our server, Madison, took on our large party of 14 for a special occasion. From start to finish she made sure the details were seen to despite a full restaurant and a hiccup in seating. She carefully orchestrated each person's meal down to last minute changes and boxed desserts to go. She turned what could've been a disastrous evening into a wonderful and smooth dinner party. “Happy Jacks is absolutely the best breakfast restaurant anywhere and they have the most amazing staff and food. We never go anywhere else and it's even better now that we live here. My son, Woody has Down Syndrome, and as parents you always worry how he will be treated, well I can tell you from the very first time we walked into Happy Jacks he was treated with respect and true affection. He now knows all the staff, for his birthday then brought him his pancakes with a candle and they sang to him. And one of the waitresses is his Bff and they spend time together outside of her work. It truly is a family affair.”

I dined at the bar where Flip and Megan made our whole experience very enjoyable with their warm and attentive service. They recommended the wood-fired pizza, the Vespa, and a classic glass of Italian red wine. Simply delicious! My brother had the Linguine Fra Diavlo with succulent lobster tail and shrimp. It was outstanding. We finished out the evening with a velvety Tiramisu, and the Bianca Espresso Martini. Julian, the manager, stopped over to chat with us and made us feel like family.”

“This place is the oasis of homemade organic food along with small batch roasted coffee and a perfect refresh spot after camping at Assateague National Park and seeing the wild horses 🐎. The burritos are small but pack a mighty punch. I’d get two if you are a big eater and I’d skip the pastry case. The coffee is worth the drive. The bathrooms are private but made for tall people! As the mirrors are set very high up I could barely see myself as a 5’3” person.

“We were staying a few blocks away and found this place while walking the avenue. We went the night before leaving OC and were sorry we hadn't found it sooner or else we would have been back. The place was busy for a Saturday night, and we went about 5pm and were able to take advantage of the happy hour until 6pm. We were seated upstairs right away and had drinks and appetizers to start. the entrees came shortly after, and all was good! The server (Tenijah) was great! She had a great personality, a nice smile and checked on us the whole time we were there. She actually told us that she had only been there a couple of weeks, which we found hard to believe because she was excellent. “Delicious Breakfast and Wonderful Hospitality! My family and I were in Ocean City helping a relative move back to Wisconsin, and we stayed at the beautiful Hyatt Oceanview Resort. My daughter and I decided to try a breakfast spot on the Ocean City Boardwalk and found Crepe Daddy — and we’re so glad we did! The food and service were both amazing, but what really made the experience special was meeting Ben, the owner. His kindness, genuine personality, and personal touch made us feel so welcome. We also ate at the restaurant, and the crabs were some of the best we've ever had.”

“Delicious Breakfast and Wonderful Hospitality! My family and I were in Ocean City helping a relative move back to Wisconsin, and we stayed at the beautiful Hyatt Oceanview Resort. My daughter and I decided to try a breakfast spot on the Ocean City Boardwalk and found Crepe Daddy — and we’re so glad we did! The food and service were both amazing, but what really made the experience special was meeting Ben, the owner. His kindness, genuine personality, and personal touch made us feel so welcome. We had a great conversation with him that truly made our trip memorable. We can’t wait to come back with the rest of our family so they can meet Ben and enjoy his delicious breakfast menu and lattes. It’s definitely a must-visit spot when you’re in Ocean City!”
