“Disappointing Experience Unfortunately, this place did not meet expectations. The portions were very small for the high price, and to make matters worse, no sauces are included—you have to pay $2.50 for each one! I won’t be returning. The value just isn’t there. On top of that, when I shared my feedback, the owner was confrontational and dismissive instead of listening and taking my concerns seriously. To make things worse, other employees appeared to be laughing at me or the situation, which is just plain disrespectful and disgusting. As for the food—it was bland and just not good. The rice was the first thing I tried, and it was bad right away. I followed that with a small bite of chicken, hoping it might be better, but it was also completely lacking in flavor. I couldn’t eat any more after that. Overall, not a good experience. It’s genuinely baffling how this place has a 4.7-star rating on Google Reviews. There’s only one other supposed kabob restaurant in Ocean City, so maybe that’s the only reason this place is rated so highly—but it certainly isn’t because of the quality or service.”

She carefully orchestrated each person's meal down to last minute changes and boxed desserts to go. She turned what could've been a disastrous evening into a wonderful and smooth dinner party. Many of our party had never tried Carrabba's and left excited to visit again. Thank you Madison and staff!”

“The Tide Room at The Shore Beach Club: A Delightful Dining Experience Last evening, we had the pleasure of dining at The Tide Room at The Shore Beach Club in Ocean City, Maryland. Our reservation was for 8:15 PM, and despite potential parking challenges, we found it surprisingly easy to find a spot. The restaurant’s recent remodel is evident as you walk up the stairs into the inviting dining area. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted at the hostess stand and seated immediately. We appreciated the choice between indoor and outdoor seating, and the variety of seating options available, from semi-circle couches to large arrangements for bigger parties. Our server was attentive from the start, quickly providing us with water, drinks, and menus. After a brief look at the menu, we received a thorough rundown of the evening’s specials. The noise level was perfect, allowing for a pleasant conversation, and the open-air setting provided a comfortable breeze. For appetizers, we chose the crab dip and crab deviled eggs. While both were enjoyable, the crab deviled eggs stood out as the better of the two. I also tried a drink called “Lost in the South,” a refreshing blend of lemon and bourbon that became my favorite part of the evening. For the main course, I opted for the boardwalk fries with a crabcake, a dish labeled as an Eastern Shore Maryland specialty. It was served with tartar sauce and met my expectations with its classic flavors. To finish off the meal, we each selected different desserts. The restaurant’s take on the Maryland Smith Island cake, a cookies and cream version, was a delightful surprise and possibly even better than the traditional version. I highly recommend trying it if it’s available. Overall, The Tide Room offers a wonderful dining experience with excellent service, a comfortable atmosphere, and delicious food. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Ocean City.”

My daughter and I decided to try a breakfast spot on the Ocean City Boardwalk and found Crepe Daddy — and we’re so glad we did! The food and service were both amazing, but what really made the experience special was meeting Ben, the owner. His kindness, genuine personality, and personal touch made us feel so welcome. We had a great conversation with him that truly made our trip memorable. We can’t wait to come back with the rest of our family so they can meet Ben and enjoy his delicious breakfast menu and lattes. “Hands down the BEST Italian meal we’ve ever had. We had Mozzarella in Carrozza, so delicious. My husband is a self-proclaimed veal snob and he said the veal Marsala was absolutely the best he’s had (and he’s had a lot fro over!) I had the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. The pasta was clearly made fresh and cooked perfectly. The bolognese was so flavorful but not heavy. Portions are refreshingly sized appropriately and so completely satisfying. Generally we’re not dessert eaters, mostly due to being overfilled by oversized portions. Ordering dessert from Ristorante Antipasti was a forgone conclusion. I don’t know which was better, the Chocolate Lover’s cake or the Vanilla Butter Cake. Been coming to Ocean City for years and this was our first visit to this restaurant and now tops the list of favorites. Loved everything about it, atmosphere was relaxed but elegant, met the owner who was delightful and appreciative. Highly recommend!!”

My son and his father recently ate here while visiting Ocean City, and after he came back home to St. Mary’s County, we realized his phone had been left behind. When I called the restaurant, not only did they confirm they had it, but the manager, Johnny, immediately offered to send it back to us. He asked for my address and shipped it straight to our home — no charge, no hassle, no questions asked. In a world where good customer service is hard to find, this went above and beyond anything I could have expected. This level of kindness, honesty, and genuine care for customers is rare, and it speaks volumes about the type of people who run this restaurant. Even though we live hours away, they treated us like locals and family. My son, Woody has Down Syndrome, and as parents you always worry how he will be treated, well I can tell you from the very first time we walked into Happy Jacks he was treated with respect and true affection. He now knows all the staff, for his birthday then brought him his pancakes with a candle and they sang to him. And one of the waitresses is his Bff and they spend time together outside of her work. We arrived early enough in the morning so we had plenty of seats to choose from. We shared a golden yolk, avocado toast platter and my better half add a cleansing smoothie. The platter itself was massive as it had four eggs on top of avocado and delicious sourdough bread. What a wonderful place! “Rise Up is an antidote to the corporate BS that plagues Ocean City. The location is a pain to get to, especially if you're going east on 50, and the parking lot is not at all sufficient for the high volume of peak hours. The coffee is good - miles better than Starbucks - the staff is friendly, and they will grind their coffee for you free of charge, which is nice. That said, as Rise Up has grown over the years, it's lost some of its charm and local vibe. It also gets so mobbed on weekends and late mornings (9-11) that I'd rather not drink coffee than wait up to 30 min for a drink. But if it's a Tuesday afternoon and I'm headed back from Assateague and in need of a coffee, I'll stop every time.”

Sahara Cafe is, now, on our “must visit” list! Staff is very friendly and super efficient. The cafe is homey and traditional, reminiscent of restaurants from my youth - that great diner feeling. The pasta was clearly made fresh and cooked perfectly. The bolognese was so flavorful but not heavy. Portions are refreshingly sized appropriately and so completely satisfying. Generally we’re not dessert eaters, mostly due to being overfilled by oversized portions. Ordering dessert from Ristorante Antipasti was a forgone conclusion. I don’t know which was better, the Chocolate Lover’s cake or the Vanilla Butter Cake. Been coming to Ocean City for years and this was our first visit to this restaurant and now tops the list of favorites. Loved everything about it, atmosphere was relaxed but elegant, met the owner who was delightful and appreciative. Highly recommend!!”

My daughter’s boyfriend got the jerk chicken appetizer as his meal. They tasted better than they looked. He liked them but said he probably would not get again. My daughter got the chicken cheesesteak and she loved it. Make sure to ask everything that is on it because menu does not say it comes with tomatoes and lettuce and onions just says sauce and steak. They were pretty busy had about a 20 min wait which was not bad since they said hour. It is very loud but it’s to be expected but great if you love live music. The server was very good but because they were so busy took awhile sometimes before she came back but that is to be expected when so busy. Drinks were ok but not consistent in flavor or amount of alcohol. Everything was good and glad we tried but would probably not come back again for dinner. But they do have an amazing sunset.”

Also if you are in your early twenties keep in mind that they are strict about carding. My boyfriend and I are both over 21 but had our IDs questioned by the security at the entrance.”

My son, Woody has Down Syndrome, and as parents you always worry how he will be treated, well I can tell you from the very first time we walked into Happy Jacks he was treated with respect and true affection. He now knows all the staff, for his birthday then brought him his pancakes with a candle and they sang to him. And one of the waitresses is his Bff and they spend time together outside of her work. It truly is a family affair.”
