I'd highly recommend visiting and having a meal at this restaurant or one of their sister locations.Parking: Parking can be a little difficult to find close up to the during peak dinner hours. However there's plenty of parking in the entire shopping center.“

“Our visit to La Canela was truly phenomenal! The flavors of the food were simply incredible, and the portions were generous. I opted for the Seco de Cabrito (Lamb shank) while my wife savored the Arroz con Mariscos (seafood rice). To start, we enjoyed the Agua de Tigre appetizer, which set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. Every dish we tried was exceptional, leaving us thoroughly impressed and satisfied. It's safe to say that we will be returning to La Canela without hesitation to indulge in more of their delicious offerings. It was a culinary experience worth repeating!“

“Although it was mostly empty when we visited on a weekday evening, the venue and convenient location are appealing. Friendly staff and fair prices, what's not to like. Being first time here, and not knowing the regular portions and size of the chicken, we ordered the whole chicken family meal with 3 sides. It was much more than we could handle. The chicken was good. I think he gave us an extra piece (leftover?) and perhaps that's why we had so much. The Brussels Sprouts was the star of the place - sweet and savory, delicious. 5 stars! We changed our mind at the last minute, and decided to eat in. Can't say it's the cold temperature, but the chicken was cold to the touch for some reason. Maybe it was the extra piece we got. Regardless, it's worth a trip, and will visit again when I have a craving for Peruvian cuisine.“

“Been here dozens of times over the years. And the rumors are true. Easily the best pollo a la brasa place in the area. Chicken and sauces are reliably excellent and very reasonably priced. Feeding a family of four with room to spare for $22 is something you can't even do at McDonalds these days. Sides are limited in variety, but they're ok. Only gripe is the fried yuca is often chewy, hard, and/or dry. But skip that menu item, and you'll be fine.“

“If you are looking for the true flavor of a good ceviche, I recommend this place, it is the true authentic flavor that I hope to have on my palate from a ceviche and not to mention the cocktails, I really loved them and especially one called la freckle and The Peruvian drink Pisco is delicious. “Did a pick up order. The Steak sandwich was really really good and whatever bread they used was really good too. Empanadas were good but nothing special in my opinion, however I wasn't a huge fan of the dip, which seemed to be just sour cream. Calamari was decent but I wouldn't pay $11 for it again. “I love Don Pollo! I seem to live really close to one every time I move Their Peruvian chicken is just sooo tasty and you can smell just how good it tastes from the moment you step through the door. The staff greeted me when I walked in and took my order right away. I didn't have to wait long for my order. I ordered their Half chicken with two sides. My two sides were Chaufa rice and plantains! While the sides were really good, The star of the show, without a doubt, is their Peruvian chicken. Marinated to perfection with a blend of Peruvian spices and slow-roasted to achieve that golden, crispy skin while keeping the meat juicy and flavorful. Portion sizes are generous! I ate this meal for dinner and then lunch the next day! This location also has parking right out front and you can sit inside to eat if you want. They have small tables that are minimally decorated. Overall, will be back here again!“

“This is a tiny establishment that would generally not be ok my radar, but I drive by so often I figured why not. It's got quite a few tables, a lot of llama pictures, and a very cozy environment. It was bigger than I anticipated, but they had so much more options than chicken that most Peruvian places have. Our server was super nice and patient, even though she was the only one and there were a few tables to handle. I ordered papas de la huanciana, fried fish (I forgot what it was called), lomo sotaldo, and a tres leches. I *love* papa de la huanciana, but this is the only place that I've seen it on the menu so I was super excited. It tasted just like how I remembered it, when a friend made it for me years ago. The fried fish dish was so good! There are a few bones in it, but manageable. I didn't eat the lomo saltado, but it looked delicious. The tres leches is a must buy. I think this is one of the better ones I've had from all the places I've tried. Best part is, it was just the right amount of moisture in the cake, extra leche at the bottom, and every bite was perfect.“

We placed our order and decided to take it home. The chicken was cooked to perfection - it was tender, moist, and full of flavor. We also enjoyed the sides the Yucca, macaroni and cheese, black beans, rice, and fried plantains. The macaroni and cheese was creamy and moist, but it lacked a bit in terms of flavor. Along with that, we also ordered a cheese empanada and a beef empanada. Both of them were delectable. Initially, we weren't given our empanadas, but the person who took our order saw how quickly we were leaving and ran after us to make we came back to the counter fetched for the empanadas. We were impressed by the customer service and the speed at which our order was prepared. The place was also very clean. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend it to others.
