“There's a reason why there's always a line at most Peruvian chicken restaurants and El Grand Pollo is no exception. Excellent portion sizes, juicy flavorful chicken and amazing sides. This is definitely the Hispanic soul food that will cause you to kick your feet up and take a good nap afterwards. Make sure you grab an Inca Kola to complete your meal. And ask for all three sauces“
“The food was great and classic: -The chicken quesadilla was good, but I had to use plenty of hot sauce to keep things flavorful. They should add salsa verde to go with it. 7.9/10 - I enjoyed the tacos. Classic street but with pico de fallo and a slice of avocado and some salsa verde in the side. Perfect. My only complaint was the lack of additional meats other than chicken and steak. 8.2/10 Note: the bang for the buck with the food is great. Service was lovely. Very nice workers, who speak both English and Spanish. When I came in, I decided I would like to practice my Spanish and they were very nice about that. I ordered everything in Spanish and speak with them for a bit in small talk. The ambiance is classic cheap Mexican restaurant, in a good way. They clean the tables well and add good hot sauce on them.“
“The prices for their meats are amazing! I can find everything I need to make Salvadoran and Honduran dishes. My extended family is Hispanic, and I introduced them to this market. They have pan dulces and fresh fruits and vegetables! The onions are huge! I ? love that they have things for kids as well. I lf you're native to Baltimore, MD, and need things for Hispanic recipes, or if you want to try something new from Hispanic cultures, then this is a great store to visit. Also, if you're in the Windsor Mill/Woodlawn area, I highly recommend visiting this store for your Hispanic food needs.“
“I've been to this food truck twice in the past week, and I love it. I've had the pupusas twice, and they were delicious. Today I had the pechuga asada (grilled chicken breast), and it was also delicious. The food truck is parked in the back of a service station lot located at St. John's Lane and Route 40.“
“I would not have visited this place but for the reviews. It's the last open-looking store in a mostly boarded up strip mall. But I'm glad I stopped in. The food was fresh and filling. Staff was very friendly. Looks like a local favorite place.“
“Listen. I'm a white guy. I don't really know Hispanic food. But I KNOW for a FACT that this is some of the best food I've ever had. No corners are cut with quality. I absolutely recommend the beef tongue tacos (lengua), steak nachos, and the papas locas. Need to try the more authentic food soon.“
“If you like Mexican food, this place is more than worth seeking out.My goto has been tacos, 1 beef, 1 chicken and 1 chorizo make decent meal for me.The salsa is real and takes a few minutes to come down from the effect.I'm usually indifferent to the tortilla, butI think k I could eat them with nothing else.Clean restaurant in a non descript strip center.“
“Very VERY nice low key spot to get your Mexican fix. I was surprised at some of the reviews that I read about the food not having any flavor (which is VERY confusing because if anything it would be OVER seasoned) but I was more than pleased with meal. I had the ceviche to start and it was GREAT! The zestiness of it and the acidity in it was delicious. Then I had the stuffed peppers with beans and rice *pic below* Really delicious... Although I will say the beans were pureed which visually threw me off but the flavors were there. I will definitely be back and looking forward to trying something different next time.“
“Small, but stocked on a variety of Hispanic goods. Everything is reasonably priced, and the staff is super-friendly. So glad I found this gem after searching months for a decent Hispanic market in this area. Will be coming back plenty more times!!“
