Due to a large number of my friends ordering all together, the man serving us was willing to give us a larger discount on our ice cream. Definitely the place to go for a sweat treat spring, summer, winter or fall!“

“ProCakes is our hands down go to spot for larger sweets orders! Baby girl is involved in various activities and we like to show up with sweets sometimes! These cupcakes hit every time. They are externally approved by a master baker herself (my wife). Also, they recently began selling snickerdoodle cookies! WAYYY better than Forestville or the old spot here at Iverson. I mean very seriously better! These black folks put love in the sweets. We love to see it“

“Postres Victoria did a great job. We ordered a tres leches cake and it was delicious, beautiful, and an easy process to order. The cake was the size that feeds 15 - they serve cakes based on the number of people, not by inches - for $40. It had multiple layers and the fruit was fresh. The cake was well packaged and had lasted multiple days.In addition, we tried one of their bakery items when we visited to place the order and look forward to trying their other menu options.Kid-friendliness: There is a small window bench my son liked to sit on while he ate his bakery treat.“

“I had a great experience with 5-12! They were able to create an Indian-like design based on a few photos I sent them. The cake was the perfect size for our small party of four and was beautifully finished. I also really appreciate 5-12 making an extra trip out to their pickup site so I could get the cake at a more convenient time for me. My only other feedback was the cake was slightly on the sweet side and was a little dry by the time it was served. Regardless, 5-12 is definitely on my list of go-to custom cake places in the DC area.“

“I tried this place via a neighbor's recommendation and it was sooo good. The cupcakes are fresh and moist and a really good size for the price. The buttercream is not overly sweet, but still sweet enough. These are literally my favorite cupcakes ever. The shop is in a great location with cute decor and friendly staff. The inside feels pretty instagrammable this time of year (cherry blossoms make the prettiest backdrop!).“

I needed a last minute cake during the holiday season no less (Dec 23) and after contacting numerous bakers who could not accommodate me I found Tiered and Petite. Cotton not only squeezed me in for delivery, but made the MOST INSANELY GORGEOUS CAKE for my celebration. My friends legitimately thought I ordered a wedding cake for the celebration. Not only was it beautiful but it was delicious. The details on the cake were immaculate. Every small piece was edible. It was delivered at the exact time scheduled. Watergate pastry was super easy to communicate with, their pricing was fair ($50).On pick up day everything was easy, and the employee at the shop was so kind.I’m personally not even a fan of rum cake (it’s his favorite) but we both ended up loving the cake!!! It was creamy, flavorful, flaky, and the perfect amount of sweet!10/10 recommend watergate pastry!
