“Wonderful first visit (though we've bought from their truck). My wife is a native Rhode Islandah and she said everything was wicked good. We started with Steamahs (plain, of course!). We then had a traditional lobstah roll and a plate with shrimp and scallops. Finished with their white chocolate bread pudding. Service was attentive as well. The server had no problem substituting a baguette for the many slices of bread. She was friendly and helpful and way more than accommodating. Her tip reflected the great service! “We ate here for a wedding rehearsal dinner 11/2023 and it was excellent. The food was amazing, the staff was attentive, and their manager took care to communicate very thoroughly with us throughout the booking process and was very flexible and informative! All of our guests had great things to say about the experience as well and we would absolutely recommend The Conche.“

“Found this place while looking for a place to grab lunch in the area. I'd say typical bar food, but good. It's pretty small and seems to be frequented by locals who are known by name. While we were dining there, there were some obnoxious people sitting at the bar who were very loud and disruptive, but other than that, it was fine. None of the food was special enough to make me want to come back though.“

Seriously, if you have never tried the place, you must. Its a bit different that the usual burger joint. This place has a line you go to place what size burger and what other foods, drink... then you go and fill your soda cup, and sit at a table. I leave hubby behind to get the food when its up, as its made fresh right when you order. Now is the fun part, dressing your burger at the bar. You put on lettuce, tomato, pickles.... its a lot more than just katsup and mustard.... now sit back down and enjoy the juicy delicious burger. You will see families and you will see kids. It can be noisy but that is the fun too. Its like stepping into a fun time when people were just happy. My companions split the short rib grilled cheese, and Cesar salad topped with steak and fries! What?!?!? All reports also delicious. “Stopped in to Spanky's Shenanigan Pub on a Sunday for brunch. The place was packed - there are two sides to the pub - from what I can tell, the left hand side is for smokers - the reason I state that is there was a gentleman smoking a cigarette holding the front door open for an elderly couple - he then went back inside and to the left - still smoking a cigarette. I opened the door to that side - and it smelled like cigarettes. Yuck. So I went over the other (right) side - which did not smell like cigarettes. There was one booth open - which I snagged. My server arrived promptly and presented me with both brunch and regular menus. I ordered the "Belmont Ridge," which is sausage gravy over your choice of bread - I opted for their buttermilk biscuits - served with hot, crispy breakfast potatoes, and your choice of meat (I went with bacon). I added two eggs over easy - and coffee and water. Coffee and water came out first. Standard coffee - nothing interesting about it. My food order came out shortly afterward. Most of the food was hot - the sausage gravy, was lukewarm. You could see the bits of sausage in the gravy - but, as with so many sausage gravies - the gravy is under-seasoned - and it really doesn't taste like sausage. I added black pepper, salt, and Cholulu hot sauce to the gravy to amp it up. The potatoes were hot and crisp - but they too needed seasoning. The eggs were cooked properly and the bacon was crisp and tasty. Checking in with the Yelp app secured me a 20% discount off of my bill. A paper bill was brought to my table on a small clipboard - so no Apple Pay option - at least by default. Service was good. #SpankysShenanigans“

“Patience with the kids, Fresh delicious food, fast and amazing service there was even great communication when wait was just slightly longer than anticipated. If it wasn’t clear before from past experiences everything about this last experience made it clear that they are prepare with excellent service. We put our name on the waitlist( do this online it’s a must) showed up and it was packed! The manager Adam found me waiting and explained were they were in the process. While I waited tasting of their drink purple haze went around. Seating was within 20 mins of arrival. After being seated the waitress was patient for our indecisive ordering. The kids were less than cooperative (we are still learning and they understood) the waitress Jessica was attentive and gave us time and grace as we navigated brunch. Everything came quickly was hot and delicious. Boxes and checks came quickly. Although we were encouraged to take our time as needed. It was nice to see a business that still knows what excellent service is!“

“On a snowy Sunday, my fiancé and I had brunch at Farm & Fork Kitchen in Ashburn, VA. After ordering our drinks, our server Nicholas provided insight on popular appetizers. For drinks, each of us got a Mimosa. The Mimosas came in 3 flavors - Orange, Passionfruit, and Pomegranate. My fiancé got the Orange Mimosa, while I got the Passionfruit Mimosa. I liked how they were garnished with edible flowers and were fruity, bubbly, and refreshing. When our Mimosas came, we decided to share Tita's Grilled Octopus, which was served with fennel-baby arugula salad, tomatoes, capers, and olives, and fermented black garlic puree. I liked how the octopus tentacle was tender and flavorful. When our Grilled Octopus came, we placed our brunch entrees. My fiancé had F&F Dry Aged Burger with Thick Applewood Smoked Bacon, which consisted of 6oz dry aged beef patty, melted sharp cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, and tomato on a toasted brioche bun. It was a good burger, but he felt that it lacked a sauce so he asked for dijon mustard. I had the Citrus Salad, which consisted of harvest mixed greens, ricotta salata, pomegranate, and pistachio tossed with orange champagne vinaigrette and served with orange segments. I liked the flavor of the salad. However, if I ordered this salad again, I would ask for more dressing on the side and to substitute for another kind of cheese. It didn't like how a third of my salad consisted of black and slimy greens that I had to discard.“

“I got a falafel burger combo and I was very pleasantly surprised by how fresh and crunchy the falafel patty was, you can really tell that they 1) know how to make a falafel and 2) cook their food to order for you. The combo of falafel and burger wasnt something I had tried before but I would definitely go back just for that. The fries were great too; the quality was consistent across the board for my whole meal and everything was obviously fresh cooked. They also have a large menu of meatless options besides just salads.Vegetarian options: There are 8 different vegetarian options on the menu including a tofu dog and tofu Chicago dog. They sell beyond burgers but also have their own variants of veggie patties: black bean, lentil, falafel, feta/spinach, and portobello mushroom.“

“I’m a picky person when it comes to eating burgers but this by far is my favorite and only place I’ll order a burger. They always ask how we like it and if it’s medium/ well done which ever you choose they’ve gotten it correct each time which has been one of my reasons why I’m hesitant with order burgers. The staff is always nice and always greet me when I enter which puts the mood light. They also have many sauce choices to choose from I highly recommend trying the sweet potato fries with toasted marshmallow sauce!“

“Excellent accommodations! Superior service! From the on-site luxury spa, gorge tennis courts & golfing course to the relaxing and fun pool, I don’t know I must rave about first! Let’s start with Austin the Awesome! We arrived late after a bare-knuckle 4 hour drive, and we were exhausted from working all day and driving to the conference that evening. Well, Austin’s welcoming attitude lifted our spirits when we arrived. He greeted us at the car, took care of our luggage and escorted us to our rooms. He was personable and highly intelligent college student that is going to take the sport industry by storm for sure! Delicious dining options on site; and so many options onsite to wash your worries away. I was there on business, however I felt like I was on an 5 star island resort. If you are passing thru VA or looking for a great vacation spot, I highly recommend The Landsdowne Resort—when you do ask for Austin the Awesome!“

The customer service was top-notch, with both the staff member and my waiter making sure our table was taken care of throughout the evening. They were incredibly kind and offered excellent suggestions from the menu, which made our dinner even more delightful.I stayed nearby for training and decided to give this place a try, and I'm so glad I did! The bar had a great selection of wine, and the flounder, recommended by the waiter, was a burst of unique, lemony flavor that was absolutely delicious. The crème brûlée for dessert was also a hit, with its perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess!I can't wait to go back and try some of their pasta dishes. “If you have never been here - go. If you were here years ago and it was inconsistent ITS CHANGED. Doug the current owner took a hang out that had a bad kitchen and put processes in place to improve it. The food is now good all the time. Burgers, fish and chips, wings and specials very good. Sub out fries to the steamed veggies - they are amazing. Alcohol is fairly priced. Ample parking. Indoor and outdoor seating. Locals are friendly. Web site is updated regularly. They even have Euchre twice a month.“

“I went here last Sat with my brother, his girlfriend and my niece. It was good but not necessarily great. I got hotdogs as I had already had a cheeseburger early in the week. The buns were soft and great. The hotdogs were just ok, and I asked for a little mustard. As you can see, that is not a little.
