“I don't usually write reviews, but this new (at least to me) restaurant deserves one. I ordered the Pomelo salad and tom yum soup for (takeout) dinner, but the salad would have been plenty. It was delicious!!! Big chunks of luscious, juicy sweet pomelo, fat grilled shrimp (more than I expected - 4? 5?), sweet shredded carrots and herby peppers in a tangy, spicy dressing. I never did get to my soup. Oh well, I'll have it for lunch... My husband had the Koong Pad Black Pepper, which is a shrimp stirfry with broccoli, ginger and garlic. It looked wonderful also, and he raved about it, but I wasn't tempted.Mine was too good.”

“Good quality dishes. I especially found the small plates to be excellent, which are what I most strongly recommend, such as: sake and green grapes, spicy cucumbers, and the duroc pork belly bun. The sushi itself is good quality that is on par with other well-rated sushi places in the area.”

“Stopped in for the first time yesterday and picked up shrimp and oysters. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They even offered to clean my shrimp for me. This is how it turned out. We will certainly be back soon.”

“CLUBHOUSE DINING REVIEW ONLY. Came here for an early dinner Sunday with a friend who has a membership here. The outside venue (course) looked beautiful! We got a table right by the window to enjoy the view.For starters, the Beef Nachos were good. For entrees, enjoyed the Butter Chicken and Bucatini Bolognese, and the Squid Ink Paradelle was okay, a bit bland for my taste and lacked sauce so it was dry. They have happy hour specials from 3:30-6:30pm everyday which is awesome—a good amount of drink/food options too! For dessert, the Carrot Cake was okay.”

I wanted a casual night alone reading my book with drinks peacefully on Saturday evening. I was a bit surprised that there were not many people between 7-9 pm and felt rushed to leave 8-8:30. Perhaps I come another night for a quick drink but a little earlier with my girl friends.”

“Exceptional. My family can't agree on anything. Except Cava. The night before Thanksgiving and we put in a complicated order -- 10 custom bowls. Went to pick up 20 minutes later, the food was already waiting. Everything perfect, the order correct, and the food was super fresh! There seems to be a no-tipping policy so I wanted to leave a review to thank the team.

“Service and food were very good. Good for couples and groups. Less than 10 people they don’t take reservations. Diverse oyster menu, great happy hour prices (drinks, Oysters and other food). It’s a “loud” environment wherever you sit.”

“Great burgers. Salted peanuts in the shell are a nice treat. They know how to cook beach fries the right way (2 baths). Price is a factor, but the food is well executed. Potomac location has a few nice outdoor tables.”

“Randomly came here to wait for the storm to pass. Ordered the chicken fried rice, and it was very tasty! The shrimp tempura was cooked well as well, balanced between the meat and the batter. Looking forward to coming back to taste more.”

“Hebrew national pretzel dog was amazing. I’m so happy to have that to hear. Five guys discontinued serving Hebrew national dogs so now I can get a great dog nearby. The Nutella hot chocolate amazing what took someone so long to think of that. Great job pretzel bakery.”

“I love California Tortilla and this place didn't disappoint! The steak fajita burrito was delicious. The Coke from the machine was off, but I'll chock it up to a mistake. Someone probably put the wrong bag in the regular spot, it tasted like cherry. The sauce wall has some pretty amazing sauces and to-go containers. Will definitely be back!”

“The restaurant Is set in the woods with a beautiful patio meet the C&O towpath and the Billy Goat Trail. We often go to th back yard bar where there is usually live music. There is an added bonus of it being dog friendly. When you go here you immediately feel like you are on vacation and DC is a million miles a way. The short trip out Clara Barton to MacArthur Blvd is well worth it and the drive itself is scenic.”

“We really enjoyed our dine-in meal of: Thai green curry with shrimp, Szechuan green beans, Triple delight and pan fried noodles with shrimp. Everything was delicious! The new decor is lovely and the staff are very welcoming. Looking forward to trying the home-made dumplings next time.”

“Food is what you expect from McDonald’s. I’m not giving McDonald’s food in general five stars but the level at which the staff here produces food so neatly and quickly is impressive. I have yet to get soggy fries or a messy sandwich or wrong order from this location.

Parking here generally sucks but I have my own solution that I won’t share hah. But do keep that in mind.”
