“The Rivershack is a great place for casual dining and is Dog Friendly! ? The outside seating area has picnic tables under tents for a shaded dining area in the sand. They have childrens toys for sand fun and also a children's menu. They often have weekend music playing outside. There is also dining and an inside bar for those who prefer the A/C. Rivershack is seasonal and will be closed in the Fall and Winter months. They are well known for their Fried Chicken, however, their AUCE Crabs and Chicken is popular along with the Fish & Shrimp Tacos!“

“I am a huge sausage gravy fan so the first thing I always get from a new breakfast spot is the sausage gravy! Surprisingly enough the sausage gravy was not made in the Pennsylvania Dutch style. It was made with pepper instead of sugar. It was good if you like it this way but I definitely prefer a sweet gravy to spicy! Second time around I got a breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! I would be remiss if I didn't talk about the pancake! And I say pancake singular because that is all you need! It's ginormous and so delicious. The owner/manager is so nice and it is a great little atmosphere to just escape back into the days of counter service!Wheelchair accessibility: So this place has access via a ramp but absolutely no space to accommodate an actual chair.“

“I stopped in for a chef salad and it was delicious. Everything was crisp and fresh, no soggy at all. The egg was so orange and it actually had flavor you could definitely tell it was local fresh eggs!“
