“I've been around for 68 years, and am somehwat of an ice cream connoisseur, and this little place sells what might be the best tasting soft serve I've ever had. I've read that there are quite a few different qualities of soft serve, I suspect Shady Side Soft Serve uses top quality. Getting a cone, and licking it while hanging out in the parking lot (sitting on my tailgate) with the other relaxers there is a pleasant treat. As if I've gone back in time. No hustle, no bustle. “We walked in late last night because I noticed they had gluten free (GF) and vegan pizza. The owner greeted us when we walked in and was very excited to make my pizza when he found out I was vegan/GF. He was proud of the level of care and compliance they adhere to when making allergy friendly options. He told us TropQ stands for “Ty’s Recipes Zero (0) Preservatives Quality.” The vegan cheese was outstanding - melted like a real cheese pizza! I will say that the thin GF crust was charred on the outside but soft on the inside, so each slice was a bit “floppy” when you picked it up. But it tasted very good. We will definitely be back!“

“First off, I'd like to say they provide excellent service. I let them know that my daughter had a nut allergy. They were very mindful of this and got out a clean spoon and also took out a new tub of the ice cream flavor that she wanted. It was very much appreciated. I had the coconut chocolate chip flavor and it was soooo good. I loved all the fun and creative flavors that you could choose from. Not a whole lot of seating in there, but why sit when you could explore the area while eating your ice cream?“

The Buckeyes were delicious, the Peanut Butter cups need to be cut in quarters they are so big and rich, and the peanut butter and chocolate covered Oreos were heavenly. “I was 21 years old when my body decided I wasn't allowed to drink milk anymore. It wasn't a choice I made, or even wanted to make. Enter Jango's Frozen Treats. The friendly display was coupled with the most beautiful phrase I've ever seen: "Lactose-Free". It was too good to be true, I thought. I assumed it was another sorbet shack or Italian ice place, or nothing that even resembles ice cream. Nope. REAL flavors like chocolate, birthday cake, vanilla, and salted caramel!The conveniently placed benches provided a perfect sitting spot for me and my daughter to sit down and share the good times... danger-free frozen goodness on a warm summer day. And the best part is, she likes it just as much as real ice cream. Jango's is a great addition to North Beach and a great addition to my life, with a wonderful staff to boot!“

I have to ration myself otherwise I'd eat a pint in one sitting. Folks, don't sleep on this place. “I normally don’t take the time to leave reviews, honestly because I have little time for it. With that said, when I came across a review that says I paid this much for an ice cream, I could have gotten it for half that price elsewhere, it was missing something, etc.…. It just sounds like someone has made it part of his/her personal agenda to just bash a business for whatever reason they may have! As a resident of Annapolis, and someone who wants to support all local businesses, I feel compelled to say something in response… I have had not just ice cream, but also pastries, coffee, and pretty much everything you may find at the store on a frequent basis. I don’t think they are trying to be the cheapest guy in town and compete with McDonalds for sure, but their prices seem reasonable to me… I don’t like it, I go elsewhere. You get what you pay for… I actually find it funny when someone claims that the place was not clean, or some of the ingredients were missing! Talk to them, and I am sure they will more than make it up to you, if that in fact did happen. Don’t take people for fools to advertise other places…. Bottom line!“

“Visiting Annapolis for a wedding and joined my friends for an afternoon through the town. We are big ice cream fans and partake of the sweet and creamy treat wherever we go. So we've been to many over the years. Each one has an artisanal selection of flavors and all are delicious, but I must say, I got - I believe it was - the dark chocolate raspberry truffle at Storm Brothers and must say, without hyperbole, it was THE BEST FLAVOR I've ever had in my life! I would move to Annapolis just to be close to that flavor, it was that good. I will now forever compare each place I go to and every flavor I try with Storm Brothers Dark Chocolate Raspberry Truffle. I hope that someday it might be available in supermarkets near me. :)“

“My bestie and I were in the area and decided we wanted a sweet treat. You usually can't go wrong with Rita's, and that was the case here too! Make sure you park on the right side of the fence, lol! That was a little confusing, but otherwise fine as both lots were empty when we got there. It was a walk-up Rita's. The cashier was a nice young woman that was patient as we decided what we wanted. When I saw the picture of the gelati, I knew I had to have it. We both got the large size and just chilled in the car and people-watched per the usual. I'm never usually able to finish my whole dessert, but this was so good. It was a great end to a hot and busy day. Nothing to complain about here, just sweet cold treats :)“

“Wow what a lovely ice cream shop. I was coming back from my sons soccer game and he won so I wanted to celebrate! We saw the Rita's and decided to stop! It was so good. Not only were the flavors super yummy but the service was great. The young ladies working there are fantastic. Super kind and enjoyed having a conversation with me. “I was in this fine establishment on Thursday night and the young kids working were amazing! We didn't know they closed at 8 pm we arrived about 7:50 pm. We were welcomed and both workers were very nice! The cook didn't hesitate to make our food and I felt like we were holding them up! Both employees need a raise don't loose these two! It's nice to see such young individuals with manners that have excellent customer service! These two will go far! If I owned an establishment I would hire these two! Thank you!“

“Good variety of froyos, a good variety of fresh (mostly!) fruit toppings and lots of different decadent candy / sweet toppings. Clean tables and chairs, friendly staff. They usually have the same two vegan froyo choices - pineapple and raspberry. Hoping they can add more vegan choices or keep swapping the vegan froyo flavors.“
