The bottom had the peach compote/peaches (which either are canned or simmered as whole slices to make the compote since they were very tender and syrupy). The top had some drizzle which was good but gone after you get that initial layer of ice cream. Not much else texture wise to provide contrast. Maybe use peaches and cream ice cream? Or integrate peaches into the vanilla?The ice cream in general is good - nothing outstanding, but classic and yummy. It's hard to make bad ice cream and it was honestly enjoyable!“

“I just happened to pass the sign for this place 2 yrs ago on my way to work. It had been a while since I had a good hotdog, like I used to have from Nathan’s in Coney Island when I lived in Bklyn, NY(no relation to MD). I had no idea that when I passed this place during the early mornings, that there was a line that formed around the packed parking lot at lunch time rush. Thst is always a great sign that the food is delicious! The choices of 2 & 3 Hotdogs on a bun had my mind and stomach wanting to try it for myself. My wife and I tried it out and were amazed at how quickly the line moved, everyone was excited as we were to get our orders, and everyone working there was super nice. You could see the regulars, and the newbie’s like us all packed in a long line. The line miced quickly, and the wait was well worth it. Here I am, 2 yrs later, still stopping by, and trying something different every time. They have burgers, fries, cheesesteaks, ice cream shakes, and sundaes. I usually buy crabs from Crab Shack II in Gwynn Oak.Well, I have to say, the taste of the crab meat, exceeds my expectation. The crab meat has a tinge of spice in it. It is not hot, just perfect, to taste some spice in the meat. The comments I heard at the table, "crabs are meaty", "it taste so good".I placed the order for 4 dozen crab (2 dozen males and 2 dozen combo, small and medium) the night before . It rain all day the next day. B & B called me to confirm the order. I changed the time for pick up, added 15 minutes to the time. I picked up the crabs and it is steaming hot. Perfect! They definitely accommodate customers--even on flood watch.Why didn't I give them a 5* for service? They only sell by the dozen. So, if you are looking to buy crabs at half bushel or full bushel, look elsewhere.It has a decent size parking lot where you can park and wait for your order. I did like the fact that I was the only customer waiting for crabs. I came early because of weather. Though I can imagine what parking, looks like, in great weather.“

“The staff is always nice at this location they just need more people came on a Saturday they only had one guy working the line was long but he did a good job. “People have been known to travel from miles away to get to an original Kavern snowball. Known to some as the best place to get a snowball not just in Pasadena, but in all of Maryland. Kavern distributes its own syrup, supplies, and even ice to snowball stands across the state. You can stop by their Pasadena store to enjoy some ice cream and other frozen handmade novelties as well.“

I love the fact that they still give the free ice cream with their kids meal even on delivery platforms but that isn’t what this is about. “Survice here was amazing and so was our food however the ice cream gets a 2½ stars I had gotten the strawberry shortcake Sunday and it looked amazing however it didn't taste as good as it looked was pretty bland with no flavor could have definitely used better strawberry topping and a more flavorful ice “

“My bestie and I were in the area and decided we wanted a sweet treat. You usually can't go wrong with Rita's, and that was the case here too! Make sure you park on the right side of the fence, lol! That was a little confusing, but otherwise fine as both lots were empty when we got there. It was a walk-up Rita's. The cashier was a nice young woman that was patient as we decided what we wanted. When I saw the picture of the gelati, I knew I had to have it. We both got the large size and just chilled in the car and people-watched per the usual. “Ordered a small vanilla frozen yogurt in a bowl and three toppings: peanut-butter cups, sprinkles, and caramel sauce. Price was on par for an airport (I think after tax it was $8-ish). They had a variety of frozen yogurts and toppings so I'm sure anyone could find something they would enjoy. They also make smoothies. There's seating adjacent to the shop which was convenient. Service was friendly and quick. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm here!“

“Nice hot and humid day.... I scream, you scream ... we all scream for ice cream! This is a walk up window ; where you order and pay and they call your name when it's ready. There are a couple benches and tables to sit and eat at. I ordered a waffle cone with butter pecan ice cream. They definitely didn't skimp on the pecans. Pecans galore in my ice cream. . Hahaha more pecans than ice cream actually and I was okay with that. Usually places skimp on the pecans and only give you the cream. My other half ordered mango sorbet.... Light and refreshing and hit the spot. Nice treat on a hot day! Parking is shared with other restaurants and stores nearby ; on the plus side it's free at least.“

“Love the quality and selection of Italian ice, cotton candy is one of our favorites at Rita's and the phenomenal soft serve custard ice cream. It is a perfect treat and great to sit and relax at the mall. The prices are the cheapest I've seen at any Rita's, typically they are double the price in the city. The employees have always been wonderful. Everyone is understaffed these days so please have some patience since it does take a little bit for things to be prepared. Certainly well worth the wait!“
“They have smooth, sweet soft serve ice cream. They just opened and have a very large selection. The guy at counter mentioned- If you see the blue air tube dancer up, then they are open. My favorite menu item was the Brownie Fudge Sundae. It has a large amount of ice cream, sprinkled with brownies , drizzled with fudge and some other kind of sweet (maple flavored?) syrup, topped off with whipped cream, nuts, and (if you want it) a cherry.“
