The brunch menu at first was a little confusing as to what our quantity of options we were entitled to, once that was clarified enjoyed a delightful meal of fried chicken & waffles -brussel sprouts-deviled eggs -berry mixed topping pancakes -crab cakes and a mimosa. The only thing that wasn’t too pleasant was the waiter assigned to us -he didn’t seem very customer friendly-I don’t even think he introduced himself. However his slack was taken up by a wonderful young lady by the name of Allie -very friendly -took the time to explain the menu -when an ordering mistake had been made -corrected it and provided a alternative, she made the experience so much better -excellent customer service“

“Yes! I love the concept. I love how it’s a hand made patty and the burger was cooked perfectly. In addition, you have an option to add items to your burger if you do the build your burger option. You can also choose their preselected choices which look really good. I chose to add sautéed onions, bacon, and Italian sausage. I will say although the Italian sausage was good, I wouldn’t add it again; it didn’t hurt the burger overall. You choose your seasoning (I chose basic), sauce (house bbq), lettuce and tomato. I also ordered the seasoned fries (garlic parmesan). I was curious so I asked for the spicy ranch. It was pretty good.“

Think of this place as your favorite breakfast fast breakfast place on steroids. The service is quick and friendly. The portions are more than enough and the food is unique. There are double front doors and no button to open them so it may be difficult for electric chairs and larger chairs. The back event space can be cramped but I was able to be seated comfortably. Though I could see if being tricky trying to leave for a bathroom break once folks pack in. There are stairs to access the stage so that would be a big barrier for open mic nights“

“I got their exactly 950pm and the bartender and waitress were very friendly and nice , the kitchen was just about or closing but rather than say sorry it’s too late they checked with the kitchen and they made us the 3 best burgers and fries , it was all delicious . We got double burgers and fries and honestly the price to me like any other good burgers but these were better was reasonable, the quality was good . We’ll be back for sure , compliments to the chef .“

“Been to bubbies many times and it’s always so worth the trip! Really appreciate how often they send coupons, gives us the push to order and enjoy their food. “Upscale egg sandwich place on Connecticut. Eggs are scrambled thin then folded in a bun with various condiments and additions. Hearty portion. I could have easily been satisfied with half the sandwich. Simple setup. Order at the counter then pick up. Not your standard breakfast fare. Can't get a couple of eggs over easy.“

“My friend and I came here after the zoo because it was conveniently located right across from the Asia trail. I ordered a Posh BLTA without the B and my boyfriend ordered Oeufs Norweigienne (sp?). I enjoyed my sandwich A LOT, however, my friend's had EGG ON TOP OF EGG. They had to have used like 6-7 eggs for that thing. It tasted delicious, but he felt sick afterward from having so many eggs. We were going to walk around the rest of the day and we didn't have a car, plus I don't like eggs, so unfortunately we had to waste the rest of his meal. The waiter was super weird about it and kept ignoring us, and I think he was upset that my friend didn't finish. It's not our fault, and it was yummy, but how can anyone finish that many eggs?! Lol! It would have gone bad if we took the rest with us.Anyway, the bill was a reasonable amount of money and it's a cute place. My Posh BLTA had delicious avocado and it tasted very fresh.“

“We stumbled into this place after some other burger places were closed, and I'm glad we did! This was one of the best smash burgers i've had in a long time. I understand people saying the burgers are a bit pricey for the size, but to me the delicate nature of the sandwich combined with bold flavors really sealed the deal. I can't remember which one my wife got but we were both in heaven, and even after sharing the shockingly good garden salad, we didn't feel stuffed like we usually do when leaving burger places. “My favorite place in the broader neighborhood! The staff are friendly and attentive! The food is consistently good - everything on the menu is good, my favorites are the ribs platter, Gouda burger, steak and cheese, wings, blackened seared tuna app, and great fries too. I, and other friends, go out of our way for the hand-dipped chicken fingers (a staple pickup for take out since I live nearby).In addition to great selection of beers, they always have NA beer selections too, which I get when coming with the kids. They love the nachos, wings and kids menu.Kid-friendliness: Seating indoors is all high-tops, so low-tops are on covered patio. Good kids menu w/crayons. Never a problem with tables during non-peak hours, but if a big game or something, do the best you can.“

“I have visited Duke's a handful of times and have really enjoyed it every time. The food is always delicious and the fresh squeezed orange juice is perfection. You really can't go wrong ordering anything on the menu but I do highly recommend the Proper Breakfast Sarnie or the Proper Burger. Chef's kiss is what those two things are.Side note, I often like to point out restaurants I think are great for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd dates. In my personal opinion, breakfast is the best time for a date because you are at your most energized, breakfast is super casual so less stress, and a post-breakfast stroll around the park getting to know each other is perfect. I would highly recommend Duke's for a 3rd date.“

“The much-anticipated sister restaurant of Purple Patch opened just a few weeks ago and I'm already hooked! It's a lovely addition to the neighborhood, offering a simple menu with a lot of flavor. The wagyu burger is nicely balanced, and depending on your appetite you can get a single to a triple patty. The ube soft serve with coconut is such a hit and the flavors are perfect. It's been really busy for good reason, so you might have to wait in line especially on really nice days, but service is pretty fast and they also have an order online link. Enjoy the outdoor seating on a nice day! Indoor area is small but very pretty, and stools with counter-style tables lining the interior. Very kid friendly as well as they have a kids' menu,' tables, and neighborhood kids' art on the walls. You can also purchase a few Filipino snacks like v-cut chips and boy bawang (garlic corn nuts), and they also have some canned non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages available. With the addition of Joia Burger, the owner Patrice really shows how much she cares about the Mount Pleasant community and is invested in it. It's a great spot to swing by for a quick meal and friendly faces!“

“This is such a great lunch spot! I stopped in on a Saturday with friends who were visiting from out of town. We were able to walk in with no reservation and were seated immediately in a cozy booth. The service was excellent, our server explained Detroit style pizza and brought us water right away. We ordered drinks, a Caesar salad and the vodka pizza to share. They have an extensive brunch menu and lots of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drink options that all looked great, but I stuck with water today. The Caesar was solid but there were a few huge chunks of cheese in it. When the server dropped off the vodka pizza, he also had a second pizza that I figured was going to another table but it turns out he offered it to us on the house! It was a gluten free crust with pepperoni, Calabrian chiles, and pesto dressing. It was so nice of him to bring it to us! That said, 2 pizzas for 3 people was a lot of food and my friends don't like spice, so I had a slice of each and brought the rest home and am very excited to eat it later! The vodka pizza was really good as well, the sauce was creamy without being too rich. I left very comfortably full with a hefty takeaway box.“

However the animal is HUGE and to be honest all the sandwiches are pretty big so definitely worth your penny. 2nd time I came, I got the Abe foreman (sausage) and the cinnamon sugar tots. My boyfriend loved them so much he had me go back up to get more! Cashiers are always nice, even when it's busy. The National Landing is such a cute concept with easy access to great food and drink options!“

“We've been here quite a few times! It's definitely a great spot. Love the vibe, drinks and food. And kid-friendly which is always a plus. Good food menu with many options. My husband leans towards the IPAs and I always go their seltzers! In-laws were visiting so we wanted to take them to one of our favorite spots! The pretzel is by far my favorite pretzel and THE best I've had so far! And the we also love the fried chicken thighs! Pair it up with one of their small salads (still a HUGE portion!) and you have a great meal!“

Food: We've tried a few different options and all were delicious. - The Hangover: Its a good brunch type burger with with hash brown, eggs and bacon. But if you don't want a slightly messy burger, I would skip it. I personally love it! - The Hot Mess: Another food messy burger! I enjoyed the overall taste but the Mac and cheese was a bit bland. However in the burger it was still tasty. - The Southerners: This is a solid go to burger! The pjmento cheese and fried green tomato is beyond delicious and the burger is always so juicy. - Fries and onion rings: Standard but delicious! - Honorary mention: Cajun Remoloade and Old Bag Aoili were great! I was a bit unsure if I wanted to pay for sauce but it was worth it. Service was relatively quick but I've also only been when it wasn't super busy. Parking can be a bit tough so just ride around and be patient.“
