“LOVE this pizza! I had it growing up as my school’s “hot lunch.”Sauce is sweetThe crust is doughy! We actually get it light baked. This place is totally controversial in our house and with my friends from growing up … but I love it. It’s a conveyer pizza … so for you one bite fans … el presidente would hate this … but forget about that!Nut House!!!“
“The best pizzas you can expect in Washington D.C. I assure you there's no one better. But people just love it. It's always packed and the pizzas never disappoint. It's a must-try for someone looking for a great pizza take out.“
“Its absolutely amazing tasting and best experience with service if the owners are there, it really feels like they care and want to treat you right. But the second time going without the owners there, the experience fell below. Very sad. still delicious but missing the hospitality and care with the food. For example first time with owners everything was hot the bread was beautifully presented all puffed up and steaming hot when opening it second time going without owners the bread wasn't puffed up and barely hot. So from now on I only go when I know I'll get taken good care of because it's absolutely one of the best experiences me and my husband had in a long time.“
“We wanted to visit this place from a long time after hearing about it from friends but since we live 45 minutes away, we never got a chance. Luckily, today we were in the area and finally got to try their pizza. I have had fusion pizzas at a few other places in the past but this was the best so far! Thin crust, well done, and perfect taste! We had a large Kadhai Paneer and a medium chicken tikka between our family of three which was more than enough. We have some left overs for lunch now! The owner Manoj was really nice and gave us recommendations for choosing pizza, (out of the so many options they have) since it was our 1st time. The kind of customer service he provides is rare to find these days. Would love to eat this pizza more often if we lived close by.“
“I’m not vegan but I’d heard many positive things so I had to check it out. What a great surprise. No wonder the place was packed. I had a white pizza with leaks and smoked mushrooms. It was large enough to feed 2 especially if you get an appetizer.A little on the pricey side but the quality of the food and very friendly service are very worth the cost.“
“Inclusive EnvironmentWe order here all the time but today was different than any other. My daughter is a Special Olympics athlete & hearing impaired and the young lady behind the register told her she works for them and communicated with our daughter in sign language! We couldn’t contain our smiles. Any inclusive place we can find gets 5 stars from us.“
“Pesto Pizza - Ahh, can't get beyond it. A perfect basilly flavor, just right cheese, enough crunchy pine nuts to enhance the flavor. And with the best ginger soda in the area. The red pizzas are great too, but the pesto is the best of its kind. A well curated, short list of beers and hand made sodas. I plan events in Kensington to Fankly's limited hours.Parking: Parking is very limited in front of Frankly and on the street. Follow signs to public parking.“
“Stopped by and ordered the Fumo Pizza and Black Truffle Pizza, along with the free Margherita Pizza. The pizza tastes fresh, and enjoyed the texture and flavors of each pie. My favorite was the Margherita. Definitely will come back to try the other pizzas.“
“Cody, Jeremy, Bryan are the best bartenders at Andy’s! They have made me feel so welcomed since I moved to the neighborhood. Cody is leaving me this Monday, but he is a truly an amazing manager and such a bright light to be around! Jeremy has such a cool vibe, and holds amazing conversations at the bar. Please come if you want to have a good time!!“
“At Ice N' Slice we discovered a delightful twist on our pizza nights. Here, Ethiopian spices dance with traditional flavors, creating something truly unique. Each dish we tried was a testament to culinary creativity, perfectly suited for any palate. But what really set our experience apart was Mr. Biniyam's warmth. His hospitality wasn't just service; it was like being welcomed by an old friend, making our dinner feel extra special. This place is more than a restaurant; it's where food becomes an adventure, and every visit feels like home. For anyone craving a new flavor or a cozy spot to dine, Slice N' Ice is the perfect find.“
“We recently discovered this hidden gem, and we were absolutely thrilled with everything! Can’t wait yo try their Sunday brunch! For my kid's birthday party, we decided to order from Emi Rossi, and the pies were a huge hit with all the guests. It's easily our favorite pizza place so far!“
“I came to Andy's Pizza - Bethesda on a Sunday evening. There is street parking available and we were lucky enough to grab a spot right in front. You order and pay at the counter and seat yourself. There are a handful of seats available upstairs as well as downstairs. After ordering our pizza and drinks at the counter, my husband and I grabbed a seat right at the front window with our son. I ordered a slice of the Buffalo Crispy Chicken, this comes with mozzarella, provolone, ricotta, crispy white meat chicken and buffalo sauce. The pizza wasn't as spicy as I had anticipated, but it was still good. The crust and pizza itself is thin with less dough. Although the pizza slices seem large, they were not that filling. At $6 for a slice, it makes more sense to order an entire pizza. Overall, the staff were friendly and the food was good. I would definitely order from here again, but just as I mentioned above, I would order an entire pizza next time :)“
“Came here randomly on a Friday since one of my friends wanted to try it and I was blown away. Did not have a reservation but I was lucky enough to find a seat at the bar. (It gets busy so book a reservation in advance). The restaurant is inside a house so you are separated in small groups in each room, which I really enjoyed. First thing I ordered was the expresso martini, and it was one of the best expresso martinis I had. Our bartender Ron was a joy. He was awesome and made our visit 10xs better. He recommended all the best dishes, and was very patient with us while we were ordering. The whole staff was super friendly. The food was just amazing as service. Started off with some meatballs, tuna bites, and wood fired oysters. I did not take pictures unfortunately since I was hungry and dug in immediately. The meatballs were amazing and would recommend anyone to order those if visiting. They come with 3 meatballs so heads up. Personally I'm not a seafood person but I did enjoy the tuna bites. For the main course ordered the house pizza, the Penne alla vodka pasta, and the bolognese pasta. Personally those were all amazing and I couldn't tell you which one I enjoyed most. You can't go wrong with any of those, and order all of them if you can because they were all delicious. Safe to say that I will be back, and will be back to try the steak and other dishes that are offered.“
“Gregorio's is the perfect neighborhood Italian Restaurant. After living in Bronx and eating where the "Goodfellas" eat, Gregarios is a close match. Pizza is awesome. All dishes are savory and plentiful. Had the Veal chop thisbb by past weekend...Superior! It gets crowded so make a reservation“
“First and foremost, let’s talk about the food. It’s not just good—it’s exceptional. Each dish is crafted with care and attention to detail, resulting in flavors that dance on your palate. Whether you’re craving a classic comfort food dish or eager to explore something new and exotic, La pizza has you covered. The freshness of the ingredients shines through in every bite, reminding you that quality is never compromised here. But it’s not just the food that sets La pizza apart; it’s the entire experience. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Ordering is a breeze, and the pickup process is smooth and efficient. Even if you opt for delivery, your meal arrives promptly and piping hot, ready to be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home.In addition to their impeccable food and service, La pizza also earns high marks for value. Despite the gourmet quality of the cuisine, prices remain reasonable, making it a viable option for any budget. In sum, La pizza is a true gem in the world of takeout. Whether you’re treating yourself to a solo feast or feeding a hungry crowd, you can’t go wrong with the culinary delights offered here. Prepare to be wowed from the first bite to the last.“
“The ingredients are top-notch, but if you like or are accustomed to picking up a slice of pizza with your hand, prepare to be disappointed and challenged here because the pies here are consistently limp amd soggy. I live across the street and the few times I have ordered takeout pizza from this place, I go home and finish cooking it in my own oven. It's pretty damn tasty afterwards too.“
“All of our appetizers and our two pizzas was a real food experience. The creations and presentation were outstanding. We had a large variety and each dish was amazing . The pistachio baklava cheesecake was over the top. Staff very friendly too❤️“
“We'd been wanting to go here for a long time and finally made it out. This place is amazing. It has a nice cozy vibe and you're hit with a warm, lovely aroma or baking pizza as soon as you walk in! We got the Green Monster and The Shirley and both were absolutely fantastic. They have good beers on tap too.The dough is light, airy and delicious and doesn't sit in your stomach like a rock. Everything about the food is spot on.“
“Went to Angelo’s Pizza Pasta and Deli for the first time not too long ago and the service was immaculate. Everyone is very nice, they get your order done on time even offer saples while you wait! I got the spaghetti with meatballs and it was fantastic. Although it’s not restaurant or five star food it’s just like Mom’s cooking. A well home-made dish that you can’t beat for the price. Will be going again soon!“
“A first date cancelled on my 20 minutes before we were supposed to meet. My super sweet server consoled me and even gave me a free dessert. The whole staff was unbelievably nice, and my Monday night half price pizza was delish. I've also had the pasta in the past and thought it was great, too. Cozy decor. I recommend.“
“We had the best time bringing a huge party here. The pizza was awesome, and my kids LOVED the fries. But actually the best part was the service and staff. It was A LOT to feed our crew and everyone did it with a smile and kindness. Go here and support this great place!“
“We have a complicated past with Roscoe's. We live just a block away in Old Town Takoma Park. When they opened we went there a couple of times and it was just plain bad. There were almost no toppings on the pizza and it was all pretty tasteless. So for the last more than a decade we've avoided them - which bummed me out. I love to support our local businesses but there have been, in the past, a few clunkers. And Roscoe's was yet another one. But the other day when I was walking my dog I thought, "Why do I always see people eating both indoors and outdoors there?" So I thought, "Well, let's give them another chance. Maybe they've change in over a decade!!" And have they ever. My husband and I had the Roasted Beet Salad, the Antica Pizza and the Siciliana White PIzza. It was all REALLY good. The Antica was a little greasy so I did some degreasing. The salad was perfect and substantial. The pizzas were really flavorful (with a lot of toppings) and the woodfired pizza was crispy and chewy. Just great. We'll definitely be back since we pretty much live right next door!“
“I called in for a to-go order on a rainy Wednesday night, and got a small meat lovers pizza with lemon cake. I don't think the pizza was worth it as it reminded me of dry frozen pizza that I could've baked myself for a fraction of the cost. The lemon cake was delicious however! The owners were very sweet when I went to pick up my food and even gave me a small discount-- an even $20 instead of $21 and some change haha. I would come back to try their cheesesteaks, but would avoid the pizza in all honesty.“
“I grew up in this area. The restaurant located in Four Corners was once the home to a Seafood restaurant named Fred and Harry's. Now there are 3 restaurants in its place. My initial feelings of the 4 Corners Pub were positive and I was frequenting several times throughout the months. The place is definitely a hotspot. On Thursdays half off pizza. On more than one occasion my order wasn't properly prepared and when I informed the staff they questioned me which left me feeling some kind of way; especially after all the support. Anyway, I don't visit that often except for their fries. I've ordered fries on numerous occasions and recently I was handed a box of burned fries. I contacted them and was told no problem that when I returned they would make another. When I arrived I believe it was the owner who questioned it; as I, by accident had brought in the wrong container which had some food scraps in it. It had gotten mixed up with a container I was going to throw away. I was told I didn't even have to bring it in. The owner kept insisting the fries weren't burned. They did however prepare me another which was excellent. Thanks to the manager. You are appreciated.“
“Stumbled upon this little bistro after taking a red line shuttle bus following WMATA closures. The bistro was serene and inviting on a cold, winter day in DC. They had a great selection of outdoor, indoor, and heated patio sitting. The service and atmosphere were par for the course, nothing spectacular. The food, however, far exceeded my expectations.First & foremost, this bistro’s speciality is pizza — thin coal fired or Detroit-style. My wife is allergic to dairy but was blown away by the coal-fired vegan cheese vegetable pizza, which was decadent and perfectly balanced between the splendid vegan cheese, mushrooms, spinach, olives and house made tomato sauce! Note: they only do not do vegan cheese substitutes for their Detroit-style pizza.Their Sunday brunch sandwiches — in this case, the McBeasty — were superb, and the Caesar Salad was very fresh and had a unique house made Caesar dressing that tied in everything well!I can confidently say that this place takes #1 for best vegan cheese pizza.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizza with options for vegan cheese. The brunch menu has mostly vegetarian options as well. Salads can all be changed to vegetarian or vegan.Dietary restrictions: This bistro has tons of vegan and vegetarian options, especially for their coal-fired pizza.Parking: Parking is limited to paid street parking and nearby paid parking garages. I recommend taking public transportation to this location.Kid-friendliness: The bistro has a kids’ menu and high chairs for babies/toddlers. The staff was very kind and considerate toward my family.“
“Pizza and vegetarian dish good after knowing that in the United States the dough is thin but the filling is abundant it can shock us Europeans but here in the USA it's a tip take a gongazol and the thick dough and gourmet filling the place the atmosphere very good. The price also just a downside the dough comes out a little toasted but that is very goodVegetarian options: They also do non-vegetarian dishes.Parking: There is nothing simpler for this station than parking on the street and at 600 a large free car park“
“This is my 2nd time ordering from this restaurant and spot on. The pizza and burgers are a good portion are tasty, and also Halal if you are wondering. An update to my review as I have ordered the fried chicken with caramelized onion, and it is really good and satisfying.“
“We love Gregorio’s in Potomac and much prefer that location. We feel like family there. We decided to try this location and I have to say, it’s really not the same at all. The food was fine, not quite as good (for example the pasta was not al dente and was soggy and overcooked, the bread was not warm). The service on Sangamore just doesn’t feel personal, attentive or warm. Something is missing. I wouldn’t recommend this location but would highly recommend a visit to Potomac!“
“Been ordering food here for a few years and it’s always good. Tried the app and it worked great. The staff are always attentive and polite. I love that &pizza has delicious vegan options - vegetables, plant based sausage and chicken, cheese. I always support restaurants that support vegans!“
“We had a great meal. The pizza was delicious. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. Our kids really enjoyed the meal and playing ping pong kept them happy while we waited to be served. And being a few doors away from Politics and Prose, one of the very best independent book stores, made for a prefect evening.“
“Guys - if you like cider even a little bit, you have to come here. The cider is dry, flavorful, and delicious (without random sugar added). The atmosphere is hip, the lights are ambient, and Liz is (out of this world) attentive to all your food and beverage needs. COME GET ANXO! PS - you can bring your friendly dogs too.“
“Very delicious Napolitano foodVery well cooked with care and attentionTraditional Italian restaurant with emphasis on real Italian not Italian-American dishes.Very good servers.Owners are involved in operations and engaging with diners. The cream for pasta was well made, not taste thick and waxy. And pizza was wonderful.Drink options are good.Great place for family, couples, social, and semi formal dining. Can't find a flaw or fault in this fine establishment.??????????️Highly recommended from someone who does not eat Italian foods often.“
“This restaurant is a favorite for my wife and I to dine. It is an Armenian Mediterranean restaurant. The hummus is creamy and delectable. The kebab platters are savory and well prepared. Highly recommend Sasuns Cafe. You will not be disappointed.“
“Absolutely outstanding experience! From the warm and inviting atmosphere to the mouthwatering selection of pizza, this place has it all. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every detail of our dining experience was perfect. The pizzas are a culinary delight – perfectly cooked crust, fresh and flavorful toppings. This is now my go-to spot for the best food in town. Five stars without a doubt!“
“Absolutely obsessed with this place!!!! 10/10 Pizza!! The combinations and variety of choices made me want to try every kind. The pizza was so fresh and delicious, and I cannot wait to go back! The atmosphere and kind customer service made the experience even better. Everyone definitely needs to try!!“
“this is our go to spot when my son wants pizza and I'm not really in the mood for much because they have everything someone in our family wants if it's not pizza! if we are not getting pizza the pastas are yummy ans i always get the beet salad! it's can be very pricey here but we love the workers here everyone is pleasant and I don't think I have had a bad experience in here once. we have been coming here for the past two years the plus is the spot this is located in has a market and ice cream shop on the same strip. so while your out to get food you can always go and get dessert after or stop in the market. great location“
“Our party of three was there on a night they had a huge party. We were served well and seated away from the loud party group. Excellent food, as always! Tapas make for a pleasant evening of sharing and conversation while enjoying the good food. Already looking forward to the next time!“
“OMG! Finally a real NY Pizza! 3/2/24 12 noon, I just happened to ride by this place and I saw it said New York Pizza. So I bought one slice just to check it out, finally, finally, finally a real New York pizza! I will definitely be back to purchase a whole pie.“
“not like old times (talking like around 2005) but still a nice neighborhood kinda bar. still amazing pizza though.(many years after comment).. Service it's ok, if u don't mind 2 wait for a while until somebody decide 2 clean a table, otherwise, to eat on top of a dirty one ??♂️ trust me, few times they didn't even clean b4 they put my food on top.still, amazing pizza.“
“I understand how it feels to have low expectations for food and then be pleasantly surprised by how good it is. I had a great experience with the pizza - the amount of cheese and sauce on it, along with the light and crunchy crust, must have been a real treat for my taste buds. Based on my recommendation, I would consider trying their pizza myself. And if you do end up trying their burgers or sandwiches in the future, please let me know how they are!“
“Heyyyy thank you so much to Matt and Izza!!! Your hard work for all this time has not gone unnoticed. It was getting pretty hectic and you all held it down. I have been in food and beverage for decades, I would have gotten a lil frazzled, and you didn’t. ? Service was amazing, and our pizzas were sooo good and made with love. ❤️“
“Roma is a amazing little gem. I moved here a year and a half ago. It is a old shop that has been here for over 20 years so the design is a little dated. That doesn't stop them from having absolutely amazing food. The cheesesteaks.... I just can't stop eating them!“
“This pizza is one of the BEST ever. The sauce ,cheese ,and dough is so scrumptious. Last Friday was my first time here ( we ordered take out ).First of all i love the fact it's in a gate community with security. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. The staff here are so nice ( I think a guy who appeared to be chef even checked on me) . i cant wait for me and hubby to dine in !Don't change a thing. You all Rock❤️“
“This place is now a favorite of mine. The service is fantastic, and the food is phenomenal!!! They use fresh ingredients in the food and drinks. This place is truly a hidden gem! I will now be by passing my local pizza place to come here. They have gained a fan! Thank you Spencer and Yasmin!“
“Cute little spot across from our hotel. Staff is super friendly and nice. The prices weren't crazy. Although, I wouldn't go back for the food, I'd def go back for the drinks; they were on point! The salmon left something to be desired, but the curry sauce is really good. I swapped the cauliflower out for asparagus, so I cannot comment on that. I wish it came with a starch of some kind. My son had The Royal Jr and he said everything was good except the eggs, he's 9. Overall, nice spot to have a quick brunch on a budget.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu“
“I have lived in Rockville my whole life and just discovered this Deli when I was looking for something quick to eat in the area. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the workers were at making each sandwich with care to each of our different wants. The quality of the meat was very good and the sandwich was big and delicious. I ordered the Godfather Sub toasted. Highly recommend. They also have a good variety on the menu and you can grab a beer or wine and bag of chips just as easy.“
“Used them to cater a charity event at the Fillmore in Silver Spring Saturday 3/9/24. Anthony was absolutely the best. Made ordering and making changes at the last minute no big deal. Two separate deliveries, both on time and the food was as promised and delicious. I highly recommend them for catering your next event. A definite 5 star endeavor from start to finish. Thank you Anthony and staff for helping to make this event a success.“
“We would like to Thank Pizza Bolis at 1511 U St NW for providing this tasty pizza for tonight's Meeting at the Jubilee Learning Center..the Veggie and supreme pizza was the talk of the meeting. Thanks Pizza Bolis for your Community Support.Vegetarian options: The Veggie pizza is amazing“
“Pizza for $2.50 a slice. Very old school Italian deli. It was great to see this kind of place still going strong in an age of chain markets and restaurants. We also picked up some funky looking pasta sauce. We'll definitely be coming back to get olives as a party appetizer, or a pizza as takeout.“
“Terra Mare is a great little place in the heart of Wheaton. It's got a decent spread of Italian fare, including brick oven pizzas, which they make right there in the open part of the kitchen. The cocktails there are decent, and the service is always friendly and great.“
