Very fresh chili garlic naan and the lamb vindaloo was sweet and savory without being too spicy. Chef Paul is amazing and he told me he doesn’t believe in catering or delivery because South Indian food is best served hot and fresh and I couldn’t agree more! The Idlis melted in my mouth. There are double front doors and no button to open them so it may be difficult for electric chairs and larger chairs. The back event space can be cramped but I was able to be seated comfortably. “Vegan reviewer here! It was my first time to Yuan Fu Vegetarian and based on the reviews I was really excited to try them out. I went on a Friday night around 8 PM. From the outside it's nothing spectacular which is a great sign of authenticity. Right when you enter there's booths and tables with the counter at the back. They were about 1/4 occupied. I decided to seat myself in a booth and was greeted right away and handed a menu and was asked what I wanted to drink. I ended up deciding on the pecking duck which was the most recommended menu item and the vegetable chow foon since that dish is one of my favorites to order at any Asian restaurant. The both dishes came out about 10 minutes later. I had never had real pecking duck but wow this was delicious. The plum sauce really complimented the dish. Definitely order this dish. The chow foon was alright. Rice noodles really soak up any sauce you put on it so I was disappointed when there wasn't much flavor. The noodles were also pretty soft and I like them to have a bit of a bite. I asked for chili oil and soy sauce to jazz it up and it did the trick. I have a big appetite but had to ask for boxes. The service and food were great overall and I definitely plan on coming back and trying other dishes. One thing I will say is I asked for an itemized receipt and they had to handwrite it since they don't have a digital system. Both dishes came out to just under $35. Can't wait to come back!“

“I am a big fan of Busboys and Poets. Don't expect a high-end restaurant setting, but be amazed by the food and drinks.Their sandwiches are delicious, their Cubano is Top Notch! And the cajun pasta they have, with Chorizo, chicken and Shrimps, is absolutely amazing. The toasted bread they add to it, the perfectly cooked pasta and all the flavors are just delicious.The portions are always more than decent, I rarely go home without leftovers. “My wife and I visited the Bethesda location. Our server was extremely helpful and kind. She explained basically they only cook with good oils. Everything is fresh and organic. The terminology today is clean food. My wife ordered a gin and pineapple martini and it was delicious.! They have an open kitchen concept and the cooks bring the food right to you after they prepare it! Which I thought was a great touch and would answer any questions you might have. I ordered the OG burger medium and it came out perfect so juicy and flavorful the grilled onions on the burger were fantastic and it came with a side of roasted baby red potatoes that were. Delicious. My wife ordered a salad with fresh grilled salmon and the salmon was prepared just the way she liked it not pink in the center and not overly done. Definitely a great concept and the food was extremely tasty. I would highly recommend it. They also have outside seating for a pretty spring evening.“

The staff are friendly and have great suggestions if you need one, too. Everything on the menu is great, but we have a particular fondness for the kale Caesar, which has a vegetarian dressing that's delicious on its own, but when combined with the Parmesan, kale, and balsamic roasted hearts of palm, is otherworldly. “I have been to many Ethiopian restaurants in the DMV. Rohobot is the most recommended by my Ethiopian friends. The food is sooo flavorful and the owner is nice too! I order the veggie platter (which is vegan). Enjoy a meal here, your tastebuds will thank you.“

My husband got the Bao Buns and they were fine, but he wasn't in love. But, he's never had Bao Buns before so he didn't have a frame of reference. The place is in an odd spot to get to, though there is street parking. And then it's in this cooperative restaurant type space except it doesn't have a stall. “I love the BBQ tofu. Its a nice sweet BBQ sauce with a little bit of a nutty flavor (not sure if there's actually nuts). The Mac and cheese is okay. Sometimes the cheese texture is similar to the texture of glue. I think I'm used to a different style of vegan Mac and cheese like Nu vegan or E life has. The people who work here are always nice and there's an interesting small plant based grocery connected to the restaurant that you can look around while waiting for your food.“

She recommended some delicious mocktails and was very enthusiastic about sharing with us her personal favorites as well as restaurants favorites. We settled on the Shrimp and Crab Fritters and Catfish for appetizers, which were good and we ordered two Shrimp and Grits entrees along with the Blackened Salmon! Best Shrimp & Grits of my life!
